    I remember being your 33rd subscriber and you got me through a hard time being between houses with my family. I'm also going through weight loss time in my life.
    I've personally been watching alt fashion videos like polkadotpigeon and joob, as well as doll videos of all kinds. Stay well

    Thank you, finally somebody who is explaining things in reverse but that is a problem for all of us. This is me. I literally gained 10 lb over 2 months and it is still here.... Can you please do what you did to reverse it?

      Thank you for sharing - I totally get it. Gaining weight like that is so frustrating, and trust me, I’m still figuring out how to reverse it myself. Spoiler alert: it’s not as fast as gaining it was! 😂 Stick around-I'll keep sharing what I’m trying in my vlogs. I’m focusing on small, sustainable steps to reverse it, like tracking calories, focusing on protein, and staying consistent with movement. We'll see in a few months if my plan works ;)

    Regarding 9:28 I totally agree! Most of the struggle with therapy is finding the right therapist for you. There are so many you just won't click with. I had a really, REALLY great therapist (for me) in my early college years. Then she took a promotion and couldn't see patients anymore, but she referred me to someone else. The new therapist was OK for a while but ultimately not what I needed. I didn't go to counseling for a long time after that, but tried to start it up again in late-ish 2022. She was a good match for me for about 5 or 6 sessions but after that we just weren't on the same page anymore. Therapy can be really tricky, and I'm so happy for people who find the right match. There are lots of other factors like finances (some therapists are REALLY expensive) or if the client is just not connecting with the therapist. I'm relieved to hear someone else voice this opinion. A lot of people think therapy is a magic fix but some mental illnesses are chronic and longterm therapy isn't viable for everyone (aforementioned finances, therapist promotions or retirements, etc). This makes me feel less alone 💛

      Thank you so much for sharing this-your perspective really means a lot to me. I’ve been struggling to explain why therapy hasn’t been working for me, but you’ve articulated so many great points that I couldn’t quite put into words. The way you described how finding the right therapist is such a challenge, and how factors like finances or life changes can make it even harder, really hits home. It’s such a relief to hear I’m not the only one who feels this way. I appreciate you opening up-it’s helped me feel less alone too. 💛

    I love how you broke down the 10 pounds into how much that equals a day (on average)......it really does nail it home how QUICK it can add up with someone so simple like a single bag of chips or some candy! THank you for that!

      I’m so glad that breakdown resonated with you! 😊 It’s wild how those little things can add up so quickly, right? 😅 A single bag of chips or some candy here and there really makes a difference over time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts-it means a lot! 🥰

    I can so relate to this! I am so sorry that you had to go through this with your dog.😢
    My husband has and still does travel for work weeks at times.
    Thank you so much for sharing your story. You are so brave to put all this emotion out there.❤

      Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience. It really helps to know others can relate, especially when things feel so tough. Having a partner away for work can be so hard, and I admire your strength in dealing with that.❤ I’m sorry you’ve faced challenges too, but it means a lot that you found connection in my story. Sending you and your family (including any furry members!) lots of love.❤

    I did the same. But mine was on purpose because i am a medical student, and the stress and adhd meds make me lose weight during the semester so in the breaks (which we only get at the end of the year and 2 weeks in the middle after mid year exams) i eat what i want. It's incredibly easy to gain weight. It's much harder to lose it. Takes months for the weight to drop off again.

      Thank you for sharing your experience-it sounds like you’ve got so much on your plate with med school and managing everything. I can totally see how stress and meds would impact your weight during the semester. It’s such a cycle, isn’t it? You’re so right-gaining happens so fast, but losing takes so much more time and effort. Wishing you all the best as you juggle everything-you’ve got this! ❤

    I think with the workouts that you have been doing, eating healthy foods but still having more calories it could be that you have also added muscle as part of those 10 pounds. You got this!

    • @michewi
      @michewi  17 дней назад

      Thank you for the kind words and support! I know the 10 pounds are more about my eating habits during that time, but I’ve definitely built some muscle too-just not that much. It definitely helps to be reminded that I have gained some muscle though ;). I really appreciate the encouragement-it means a lot! ❤
