Yeah, it was really simple. Mine seems to have a bit of an intonation problem (not unusual with scales this short) but I'm thinking I can improve it with some saddle mods. Stay tuned for a follow up vid.
Love these MGB kits! I have built 2 for myself and also build a Soprano with my 8 year old for his Christmas present. He didn't want a regular box shape so we found a hexagon wall shelf at 5 Below and made that into the box for him. It was a ton of fun for both of us putting it together!
This is my first one but they seem to be pretty cool. The intonation is a little off on this one but I think I can fix that with some saddle mods. Look for another video soon.
FYI 'tatuaje' is Spanish for tattoo (and also of course a brand of cigars). As for the pronunciation, it's probably something like tattoo-a-jé, mostly like you said, except for the Spanish 'j' that's kinda closer an 'rrr' sound. Anyway. I miss a sopranissimo in my collection, maybe I'll try this kit sometime in the future. :)
I love the MGB ukulele kits. The finished necks make the project a lot easier to complete.
Nice work!

Michael at MGB is so helpful. And his website beats the crap out of the competition… all my stuff comes from MGB!
He seems like a good guy. Thanks for checking out the video.
Nice little kit, sounds pretty good, thanks Kale
Thanks Gary. I'm pretty pleased with the way it came out.

Ah. Thank you so much for that explanation. I was pretty close. I really appreciate it. Also, thanks for watching the vid.
It’s more like (ta twa hey) ok you got that!
