HUMBLE BEGINNINGS - The Word Exposed with Cardinal Tagle (June 13, 2021)

Today is the Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time; and in the Gospel, we will hear two parables. The first likens the Kingdom of God to a scattering of seeds. In time, the seeds would grow and the grain ready for harvest, without the sower knowing how the soil produces the growth. The other parable likens the Kingdom of God to a mustard seed. A small seed is the beginning of a big tree, a dwelling place for the birds and giver of shade. In Jesus´ humble ministry the fullness of God´s Kingdom will come.
