- INHERITING ETERNAL LIFE | The Word Exposed with Cardinal Tagle (OCT 13, 2024)
Today is the Twenty-eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time; in the gospel, Jesus is asked by a rich man: “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
The Lord’s reply is simple: “You know the commandments…” And the young man says he has been observing the commandments from his youth. What else should he do, brothers and sisters? Jesus, who at that moment looks with him lovingly, says: “You are lacking in one thing. Go, sell what you have, and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.” The man leaves sad.
Can we give what we have-oh, the fruits of our labor-to the poor? Can we give it to them, so we could freely follow Jesus? This is a good point for reflection, brothers and sisters, especially at a time when people work so hard to provide for their daily needs and to secure their future, when success is measured by high productivity, when a good life depends on how much money one has.
As we reflect on this, let us also remember Jesus’s promise: There is no one who has given up their relationships and possessions for the sake of the Gospel “who will not receive a hundred times more in this life and eternal life in the age to come.”

Inheriting eternal life is hauling young people from overcoming their anxiety for treasure of this world
This gospel gives strength to the commandment thus:"Do not work for things that will perish on earth but for things that will last unto eternal life."
We know Lord Jesus Christ that your other name is "Others", please grant unto us the grace to see you in them Oh Lord especially in times of their needs, to open our hands for them, even in times that we are also in our personal needs, Amen!🙏😇🛐🌹📿❤️🔥✝️❤️🔥📿🌹🛐😇🙏
Inheriting eternal life is a very lengthy discussion which is off tangent to the command:Do not work for things that perishes on earth but for things that will last unto eternal life.

This gospel is not about inheritance.This gospel gives streght to the commandment not to work for things that will perish on earth but for things that will last for eternal life bb❤
Inheriting eternal life completely obscured the word of the lord for humanity not to work for things that merely perish on earth
Thiis gospel is proclaiming to man that everything has been done by the rich young man except overcoming his anxiety for things of this world
Let us focus only on the observance of His commandments.Let us not make any judgement as to who is humble or who is proud
Workers in the vineyard shall not attack each other since they are driving demons by invoking the word was God.However they could be the elder son who accepted to work in the vineyard but never went, That's the word of the Lord to his disciple who reported about the man who had been driving out demons but not among their group

This gospel admired the young president who honors father and mother,never kill.but when advised to return all ill-gotten wealth to feed the poor with 20 pesos per kilo of rice went away sad Jesus said its easier for a camel........
The reason fascism exist is because man is anxious for things that merely perishes on earth
Jesus Christ admired a young minister who strive hard to work in the vineyard but when advised to stop making the church a market place of offerings went away sad Jesus Christ said it's easier for a camel.......
Is fascism commanded by god to be done on earth ?

Fascism is the product of wisdom because it is the work of the wise and learned
How could man inherit eternal life when man cannot detach from anxiety for things on earth .So this gospel strongly command man to desist from being anxious for wealth by exaggerating about the camel......... entertaining......
