A fantastic insight into Rajasthani village life. India is such a land of contrasts. From the village life portrayed here to the new developments iin the major cities like Cybercity in one of your recent videos. It;s great that you are showing all aspects of India and treating them with due respect.
U are a nice guy Karl. U don't drink, smoke , touch elders feet. Such a nice gesture of yours. Every Indian mother want a son like you. Yes calling aunty in India to someone put u in little trouble. So u better call 'mam' to any women will be good for u.
I'm from Pakistan but living in the US for over 30 years. My family doesn't understand my love for the simple village life. I understand why you like it so much. Thank you for this video
Gaurav is so knowledgeable about Rajasthani village life. I felt embarrassed as an Indian that I barely knew anything about Indian.villages in general This village is a perfect detox away from the cities. Great place to recharge your batteries. I learnt something today, lol. Thanks Gaurav and Karl. Btw, Gaurav should appear mere often on your videos. Nice guy.
Mad Kaps I am not from a creative field but have a creative mindset. I am actually starting a first by India for the world startup aiming at empowerment of the village women. So you can call me a social entrepreneur. 😉😀
Bring Gaurav more often to your videos, he us very knowledgeable and makes your videos intresting. When you are alone, it's just like watching a foreigner speaking Hindi, but with Gaurav it becomes a travel vlog.
The people of India are just so striking. Was there for six months and saw so many beautiful people. Coming back to the US was a shock seeing the difference in the people.
That man standing behind you at the beginning of the video looks so pure in his heart and very genuine!!!! Look, people are good but politicians corrupt them.

This is the first time.. that i have spent over 50 Mins...of watching a village tour... and I spent the entire 50 mins enthralled. And please do tell Gaurav... that he is amazing.
Hi Karl, my name is Avneet Raju. I'm from Hamilton, New Zealand. Actually born in Fiji and now living in NZ for like 15 years now. I'm of Indian origin. My great grandparents were from India. I'm planning a trip to India early next year for the 1st ever visit. Your videos are great. I love them. You are showing me things that I'm planning to go and do myself in India. Thanks for these videos, they are preparing me for 1st ever India trip with my wife and kids.
Touching the feet of the elders is such beautiful gesture. When I stayed with friends in India I was always impressed how they respected them. I wish that here in the UK we would do the same. There was a time when we had extended families that took care of each other but now we often just put them in homes and treat them like a problem to be dealt with. India is beautiful and vibrant and you feel alive there. It is a place of contrasts and many cultures and religions living together. If you get a chance, I recommend that you go but do your research first. I wish I had seen Carl's videos first before I used to visit. God bless you and your family Carl and thank you for your hard work and sharing your life with us.
40:38 No, that old man not asking about money. He says "CHA_PANI". it means, Will you have tea and water ? Indian villagers are rich by nature. Actually he was welcoming in his own way.

juandenz2008 in Indian culture, you often refer to elder women as auntie, or aunties. Like in Russia they say Babushka.
Can we take a moment to talk about how handsome that tour guide was? or we just going to ignore that?
