- The Bill Mitchell era of GM design represented some of the most striking and distinctive automotive styling of the century, with one of the most commanding presences belonging to the 1960 Cadillac. We wanted to continue this legacy in the form of Mikes 1960 Cadillac 'Survivor Series' build.
A full @Roadstershop 'RideLine' IRS/IFS based chassis provides the foundation for a whole new level of comfort, performance and safety befitting the opulence of this '60 'Survivor Series' build. A Magnuson Supercharged LS3 provides the power mated to a 6L90 trans. A host of custom touches throughout the build range from the 18" Evod industries 'Brougham' wheels to the period-appearing engine bay and sheetmetal work, to the incredible, full custom interior by JK Automotive Designs.

What do you think of this 60 Caddy? Would you do a road trip in it? Is it the ultimate cruiser / sleeper?
Nowadays, finding a relatively well done classic isn’t hard to do. Finding one with so much attention to detail, an eye towards engineering, and done so thoroughly is a true rarity!!! Beautiful build guys!!
Yes.
YES YES YES AND YES. DEFINITELY.
I'm just not a fan of the low-rider stance. Love the rest, beautiful work
Less is more simply a stunning build.
The engine “disguise” is incredibly well done.
That blue top and interior look fantastic
A tasteful, quality build. I am typically not a restomod fan, but this is definitely not typical and I love it.
I work on classic Cadillacs and Lincolns every day. I knew something wasn't right with that engine bay, but couldn't tell until you showed it. This is a masterpiece of understatement. I absolutely love it 👍
Those wheels and tyres are a great touch.
If I were gonna build a classic car, something similar to this car would be just fine. I love the way you made the LS3 look like a 1960 390. Love the one-off wheels too!
What a sweet Caddy! Awesome!
That interior is very impressive
That air intake!!! I didn’t even know it was supercharged until you showed it.
Amazing touches to an amazing car.
I am completely speechless; everything about your work every detail of this vehicle and what has been done to it speaks for itself! Bravo
This is Amazing. Thanks for keeping The Cadillac name Alive !
I’m Drooling!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely beautiful.
Great Work.
That is un frigging real! Beautifully done.
Nicely done guys
That's exactly how a resto should be done....interior and dash are stunning!!
you guys outdone yourselves with this one... congrats to everyone involved
Enormously fantastic outcome, what a great combo of old and new to make a multi-resonant one-off!
I was not interested in this video. I am so glad I clicked on this. Your team did an outstanding job. This is a beautiful piece of work. If GM were to build a this car today as a concept car for the 2021 Auto Show, this would be the target. It looks so “stock” until you take a double look and notice it’s lowered, then as you get up close you realize this ain’t stock. It’s a shame you can’t see the frame and fully independent suspension without putting the car on a lift, a work of art and science. The engine bay is a work of understatement, the amount of work to play tricks on the eye, well. I am impressed.
Every bit of this car is outstanding, but that interior is exquisite! I have never liked restomods unless they keep the essence of the factory car in tact, and you have done exactly that. Well done!!
Great Color & Trim choices. Fantastic build quality and integration.
I am in awe of this beautiful build and well done! The Roadster Shop just keeps getting better and better and I'm proud that they're in my area and building world class chassis and cars like this. I so wish I had the money to have had them do this to my 1977 TA, but for those who have the deep pockets to do this, you made a wise move in going with the Roadster Shop.
That means a lot. Thank you!
Flawlessly executed!!!
You guys are gifted!! The details on top of details, and the homage to originality. This is really special. I would retire just to drive that thing everywhere as long as I wanted, (and could afford the gas :)
This is one of the most beautiful vehicles I've seen a while. You guys did an excellent job. It's a rolling piece of art.
Now this is worth having! All modified with an original look!
Couldn't of made a better build With an unlimited budget You guys really did your thing💪🏾💯
Very nice!!!
Love the survivor series you guys do I’m definitely a Cadillac man
Yes they all. /so nice ,.I hoping to get one myself. One day soon
Man absolutely gorgeous all that extra technology they would be amazed to see this now in 1960 that's bad ass
Amazing, just amazing. Exactly how I'd want it!
Holy moly. Gorgeous. Amazing quality and a classic, clean build.
Beautiful work.
Kudos to the RoadsterShop and Bill Mitchel. Some designs are timeless.
🙏
As kids, a buddy's dad had a '60 Caddie, but not nearly as cool as this one! Nice job!
Excellent work , lots of horses in that beautiful boat.
I just can say: PERFECT 👍
I just can say, I agree! 💯!
Superb car front-to-back top-to-bottom inside and out! My preference would be for more of a standard ride height but she's a knockout!
Exceptional Job guys! I love the modern touches but it still looks factory! Simply Awesome!
Doing something similar with my 1971 coupe deville!
Very impressive! You guys get it! A Cadillac should look like a Cadillac! From the ground up and under the hood! That’s a Cadillac! When I get my next Cadillac I’m gonna be looking in your direction!
Now that is a Beautiful land yacht!!
Thank you for keeping the whitewalls
Wow, I am glad i clicked on this. What a beautiful build and amazing craftsmanship, much better than the tasteless "restomods" you typically see of these cars. I have a 1960 Sedan De Ville and this was great inspiration.
Damn, that’s a bad ass caddie. Great job guys!
I liked it before you did your thing. My grandfather had an old Cadillac when I was a kid I can still remember the interior. Loved the smell and so comfortable.
That interior is truly amazing
You guys did an amazing job on that Cadillac!! Love it!!
The
Coupe of all Couples. The prettiest one, imo
Wow... Just wow...
Beutiful art. Congratulations!
Wow! Talk about amazing work done there!!
This is a great example of what I tell ppl I would do if I had money to do cars my way, cause I love older cars, but, also like new suspension and performance technology, all my cars would be older cars with upgrades that doesn't take away from it's character, but, adds to it's ride/handling/performance,well done
Great eight stuff yall
This is stunning! Absolutely beautiful!!
This just gave me a idea about my 59 caddy convertible. Very nice !!!!
Awesome job!
Stunning, inside and out. You all did an incredible job maintaining the period look using so many custom touches. Classy through and through. ❤
Man thats one beautiful 60 Cadillac brother, that Supercharged LS3 sure is a beast.
If I were super rich I would build a custom Cadillac in this body style and a classic Continental 4 door.
Would still probably be gas guzzling but I would mostly like just owning an example and just sitting in them really.
They made some beautiful masterpieces in the past IMO.
Awesome as always
Gorgeous!
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!! Man, you guys did a beautiful job on this one. I'm a stickler for details and didn't see one element that could've been done better. You mixed the stock look with modern technology and comfort brilliantly. I so envy the owner of this one!
Absolutely beautiful
GORGEOUS WORK!! Specially.. EVERYTHING DAMN!!!
Beautiful Beautiful Build!!
Absolutely brilliant...super stylish low key.
You did that engine PERFECT!! Sometimes less is more 👍 the car inside and out Masterpiece. When I hit the lottery I'll hit you guys up😁
Superb in every way!
Everything was well done guys. Great built keep em coming
Thanks 👍
Fantastic build
Looks like money was no object 👍🏻🇺🇸
That engine is beautiful!!!
Absolutely gorgeous.
Wow, love it! Period correct look but custom performance! I wish other guys would build cars this way!
wow great look love the way you keep it a lil OG but hid the 2021 new add ons my hats off to you guys on this build
Amazing looking ride
amazing work
that is one beautiful car
caught the spirit of the original
My parents owned a 1958 Cad when I was a kid. My uncle owned a 1960 convertible. I'll always have a warm spot in my heart for these things. Beautiful build. I love everything but the shifter. In my opinion it just doesn't match up with the period-correctness that you have everywhere else.
That’s just about perfect. Very reasonable and cool.
A true work of art, very, very nice...
Good god what a job!!!!
Looks like a million dollar build. Nice!
Staggering attention to detail. Jonathon Ward, over at ICON, may need to up his game after seeing this. Interior changes alone worth the price of admission. Would love to take this for a ride to experience the feeling.
Its perfect...as long as the roads are smooth
1-15-23 My buddy Chris' wake was today and I couldn't attend, This is for you Chris,I know you would approve....RIP.....
This really. So nice. ..
THIS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! MODERN BUT STILL HAVE THAT FACTORY. Peroid correct.
Absolutely awesome.
Absolutely stunning!!! As always ! Love the retro hidden details! Dying to know what a build like this costs? I'm guessing 300-400 g's?
Thank you thank you. We've got ton of hours in the build along with engineering time... let's just say they aren't exactly cheap, but at the end of the day you have a one of a kind hand-built custom machine to call your own.
Worth every single penny!!
If I win the lottery I'm having roadstershop build all my cars!
Awesome car 👍👏 👏 great job on the build ! Thank you for the post.
Very cool. Love it.
I so want to build me a car just like this .. this is epic .. with a chassis like this. .. it’s so well done. Great car
Nice Caddy...
Brilliant! great car choice, great build. Just sorry I didn't see it two years ago, but Thanks.
Those valve covers are awesome, I want those for my Cadi 64 6.0 SC
