I never felt this way, i never wanna feel this way, it’s something nobody every wants. My brother who is in the army is almost always in my mind when i watch these videos, im scared something may happen to him, i fight off those thoughts and try to make myself as happy as possible. I've been binge watching these videos all day while doing homework and this one particularly hit me hard. I lost my best friend back in 2022 and I relate so much to how you feel. The grief and confusion you feel really can't be put into words, and it can only be understood if you've gone through it yourself. RIP V

I had just gotten depression in 2018, and I was the same age as V too. One of my friends had attempted suicide quite violently and it messed me up. There was so much going through my head. To think you went through what I had gone through but so much worse is saddening. I wish you all the best. Stay strong ❤

Only somewhat related, but I lost my father to old age about a year ago. He had an open casket as well. I never got too close to him for the exact same reason you mentioned, how he looked like he was just sleeping and could get up at any time.
i can't even imagine the sadness and frustration that you have been trough i am really sorry i am currently 16 but i still haven't lost a really closed loved one so i don't know and can't even imagine how it feels

One of my favorite author’s son took his own life. I made a video about the book this author wrote before his son’s death and how he created a character based on his son and tell stories to him about that character. And the author and his son lived more than 100 years ago, so nobody knew much about mental health
I was also in a play about a guy with depression. It handled depression perfectly with both humor and drama, despite it being written in the 19th century.

If this video is anything to go by, It's that losing a love one is very hard and upsetting. Weather it's someone who is close to you, a family member, a pet, a best friend, it's hard to let go and move on. And even fearing the worst of what will happen makes it hard to feel. I for one fear of losing a love one in my family. I sometimes have thoughts/dreams about it, and the emotion it let's out.. hurts.. But we all tend to try and keep going, and spend time with the ones you love. Again, weather it's a best friend, a pet, a family member, and even someone who is close. Please, send time with the ones you care about. As the memories of them, always tells you to keep going, and lift their spirits up.
For anyone who had lost someone in their lifes, I'm sorry for your lost... Just know that there are people who care about you and want you to keep going. They love you, and make sure they know that too.
After hearing the story about V, I really had sometime to think about what to say in the comments without repeating myself from the Ninth Grade video. If anything, V was a shimmering soul and is a starflower forever...

I'm sorry for your loss. It may sound strange to say that I'm glad this video exist--no, I do not mean that it is good thing to loss a loved one. No one should go through a pain like that. What I mean is, I think the fact that you can make a video and tell V's story shows that you're moving on, and that may be the most healthy for everyone.
It is an honor to hear your story with V. She lives in another person's memories because of you. Yes, I will remember her, too. Stay safe, and I wish you well.
I'm really sorry you had to endure that. I wish V hadn't made that choice. I know how hard it can be to resist. I've really wanted to die before and knowing that my daughter was the only person who would care or be hurt is all that stopped me. I hope that anyone else thinking of it can manage to think of their loved ones in that moment instead...
