Their second single "Bros" was released in May 2013 on Chess Club.
In April 2015 the band released a new recorded version of "Bros", accompanied by a new music video.

I don't mind the new version of the song AT ALL. I just wish Spotify had kept this original version too. It used to have this version, but it was replaced when the album version came out. It's a shame!

I like this version better than the newer one with all the effects.
This is their best work (IMO) and hardly anyone even knows it exists. The video is perfect, and the song is too.

I totally understand that if you're coming from this version, the album version would sound bland.

But why is the intro deliberately untight...?
Is it only for the video (where the instruments are unplugged and they don't even pretend to play...🙄) or was it also part of the original audio version?
Apparently there is, apart from this version and the album version, also an original audio version, but also yet another demo version, a lot dreamier, that sounds like it possibly precedes this early version.
The only version with the weird intro is this one...
I guess it's supposed to be fun/ironic?
