I love Wolf Alice. They released an album in 2021 and it was some of the best music I've heard in years.

Yes their new record is great - but I do hope you've gone back to their first one 'My Love Is Cool' - it's fantastic.

Wolf Alice are still a hidden gem but they are on the verge of a massive breakout. They have 3 albums and they are each full of some of the best music I have ever heard. Ever since discovering them they quickly became my favorite band. They are extremely versatile and make a wide variety of styles of music in a way that you'll probably be VERY surprised... like shocked. Bro's was the first song I ever heard from them and it was a rollercoaster ride from there, so strap in.

Matthew - I couldn't agree with more my friend - also my favorite band - I've seen them live three times and just had to mention I hope you've checked out some live shows on the youtube particularly the live lollapalooza show from 2016 in Chicago it's great.

@@KelseasComments They have gathered a pretty fervant following - they're not huge and I like that - but they are critical darlings and really tight as a band each one a top musician - the drummer as I mentioned is outta sight - and I can't stress enough her songwriting is top notch with some fine smart lyrics and I know you like the words - as do I.

Best current band in the world. Soooooo talented. When listening to Wolf Alice, it’s always better to watch their live versions. They are much more intense and incredible live. If you form your opinion using this song, you are going to be VERY surprised at their range. I believe “jump that 43” refers to jumping on their local bus without paying.

Yes - thanks for taking a look. "Oh - jump that 43.." refers to a London bus line - as in; jump that #43 bus and you see it pull up at the very end of the video. The lead singer songwriter Ellie Rowsell has a great voice and is a talented and interesing lyricist. I'm glad you liked the beat - their drummer is one of the best in indie rock. Their first record 'My Love Is Cool' (they have three out - all have gotten great reviews and won awards) is in my view a masterpiece and the best place to start and touches on a lot of different styles but they're mostly classified as indie rock and goes from harder to softer stuff but is always melodic and poetic. Other songs to check out are; 'Your Loves Whore', 'Fluffy' and 'You're a Germ' , 'Silk' and 'Don't Delete the Kisses'. You got the gist of it right away and I do love that video, loved your reaction to it - makes me feel the same way every time.

Oh and thank you!!! I kept thinking of a freeway, like an interstate number or something but it didn't quite make sense. Didn't even think of a bus but YES that totally makes sense!! Thank you!! I just truly despise genius so I avoid at all costs.

@@KelseasComments No - thank you - and you're welcome. They do play with different sounds and generes and are a bit hard to classify - everything from indie folk soft- grungy, sort of 'shoe gaze' or straight up pop to an ocassional punk-pop harder sound, you may not dig it all - but there's a lot to like with most of their stuff and her voice is always great to listen to - and really excellent lyrics.

Well if they haven't they should!! 🤣 I'll admit, I fully recognize the ridiculousness of my saying that every time, but I cannot help it. There's something about adding raging in front of words that makes my brain really happy. 😂😂😂 It just doesn't feel right to say I'm a lesbian. But raging lesbian? Yep. That's me. @@KelseasComments There’s been recent studies that show that women’s sexuality is much more, for lack of a better word, fluid than men’s. There are many women who have been in relationships with men for years and then transition to being bisexual later in life.
And also, the idea that we should be with one partner for the rest of our lives is ridiculous. They also discovered that especially for women, they actually REQUIRE variety of sex partners to be Happy and Satisfied. That also doesn’t mean they are no longer in love with their partners or spouse, but that they just need to be with more than just one lover. And that there should not be anything shameful in that. I just think this is all fascinating.

@@JLamstudio nothing in life is as black and white as we were taught as children! I think humans are beautifully diverse and there's endless ways that we can love! It is definitely good to see society slowly catching up though.
