I thought about corrin and immediately was looking for matches and then found shadic doing exactly why I had imagined. And then I just watched corrin do exactly this in his set vs Leo. He's good. But the analysis is pretty obvious too
If I had a nickel for every time a young rising star would get top 4 at a supermajor during October, beating multiple top 10 players in a row, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
What do you mean by good dash shield? I didn't realise there were differences between characters dash shields or are you just talking about the benefits they get off dash shielding?
@@azuremoon4372 Yeah they can, it's pretty basic tech. If you release the left stick and shield it takes ages but if you keep holding forward on the left stick and shield it'll come out frame 1 on every character. You can test in in training mode frame by frame, the actual animation will come out frame 2 but the shield is active frame 1

@@xanander4693I mean if they're going to cut FE characters from smash it most likely be Roy. 2nd worst selling FE game. Fates is the 2nd highest selling fire emblem game of all time. And Corrin is a pretty popular character to boot. But that assuming they cut FE characters. It's Nintendo IP after all. If they want to cut a character it's probably a character like Cloud or Snake.
@@riqua27 You really can’t be sure. Nintendo could realistically cut anyone out that isn’t the main 12 or the really big IP like Animal Crossing and Splatoon. All the fire emblem characters aside from Marth have a good chance of getting cut.

I'd say Neo has more showmanship, but Shadic's neutral is just near impeccable. Neo's playstyle is closer to Marss while Shadic always means business. Love watching both of them but I cringe so many times at some of the reads that Neo likes to go for, when they work they really work, but he loses too much for it. He might've beaten Acola if he just fished for a parry side-b punish, but went for a side smash read instead at like 150%. Love him, but goddamn... my heart can't take it.
Seeing shadic get major success is like having invested in bitcoin 10 years ago. Been hoping and believing in this kid for so long, love to see it.

no hers is literally faster in terms of frame data and when dash can cancel into shield, tied with shiek for best in the game pretty sure

The design of Corrin is actually pretty good besides missing a few things, but Corrin just isn't popular enough to be a "cool" character
