Dropping on "the one"

- There's an order of operations to DJing. At the top of that sequence is listening, or as I like to say, establishing alignment with the music you're playing. Before you so much as "drop on the one" make sure you're tuned in to the music your audience is dancing to. The objective when performing a drop is to do so subtly enough for those dancing to not feel the drop itself.

Man! You are the best. Every single one of these tutorials have been so good and I have learned so much. Thank you.
Brother Swift- You have a gift for passing knowledge, encouragement and patience. I'm a 43 Year Old novice DJ. Grew up in Queens NY now doing the family thing in ATL. DJing is my escape. I plan to enroll in Scratch Academy ATL to enhance my skills. Keep the passion Brother!!!

Great teaching as always man! Keep it up. I've been practicing this with a few breaks so the timing can be as tight as possible. Even added baby scratches to them. I started with "Impeach the President" because of one of your videos. Thanks for the inspiration boss.
