Thank you for watching! Please let me know what you guys think of these albums and also what were some of your favorite albums that you discovered this year? I've got a lot of my own music coming out soon btw so be on the look out for that :)
Magdalena Bay is soooo much fun. They made me start to like pop again. Same with George Clanton and Grimes
I wrote a snippet about George Clanton’s newest album for a blog for my college radio and talked about the same thing! He makes me feel nostalgic for a time I wasn’t even around for. I’m super glad I can be experiencing new music like his as it’s being released since I wasn’t around for that type of music being popular.
From one small RUclipsr to another well less small RUclipsr I really love your content,I find myself watching every video you upload. Not like I’m trying to intentionally watch every video just like every time you upload I click
Thank you! That means a lot
That Cortex album is amazing, thanks for the recommendation!
It truly is, glad you like it!
Space Heavy by King Krule is my album of the year. Soooooo good.
Been listening a toooon to Ugly (UK) especially their song I'm Happy You're Here. Highly recomend their stuff and they release stuff every now and then. Also discovered an older album from On The Might Of Princes called Sirens which kinda gives the vibe of older dance gavin dance songs, might not be everyone's cup of tea.
My favorite this year was all hail west texas by the mountain goats. Simple songwriting, but probably my favorite lyricist I have ever heard.
Check out "Ohh Rap I Ya" by George Clanton, that album came out this year
mine would probably be
1. grace - jeff buckley
2. the money store - death grips
3. diamond life - sade
4. heaven to a tortured mind - yves tumor
ofc i had heard OF the money store and diamond life but i only listened to them for the first time this year
Still gotta check out Grace
@@KyleReidMu dude you're gonna love it it's absolutely amazing
oh I LOVE mercurial world ! for sure not my normal vibe but every time I listen to it it just scratches the itch you know? love how the songs transition and how it really works as both individual songs and plays as an album in full. as you said, an absolute vibe
George Clanton = Good
You are like the only music RUclipsr with a following that has ever talked about Casino Versus Japan. I just wanted to say thank you. They have been a huge part of my music rotation since like 2019 and they are rarely talked about, if ever.
If you liked Go Hawaii, keep going through their discography. The next two albums after: Whole Numbers Play the Basics & Hitori + Kaiso (1998-2001) are absolutely incredible.
Love seeing the vaporwave on here! It's a highly underrated genre in my opinion
Vaporwave, pop and abstract hip-hop were the genres I think I dove into the most this year
Who is this "The I" you speak of, and why is his word sacred?
Frances the mute 🤘
Love your videos man
Thanks :)
Faith In Persona bangs, probably my favorite DDS album
SLIDE MENTIONED🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥

@@KyleReidMu no seriously dude because anco has been a defining part of my year in terms of music
death's dynamic shroud mention... hopefully you check out some of their other stuff, they make some of the best vaporwave imo
I really love what I've heard from them. They've got a lot more albums that I need to check out
Also check out the whole Lil Ugly Mane discography, I highly recommend them
Yess I loved hearing Volcanic Bird enemy for the first time this year haven’t heard any of his other full length stuff though unless Uneven Compromise counts which was amazing
thoughts on ooh i rap ya?
Will discuss in my next video :)
live laugh george clanton
In George Clanton we trust
I have a few recommendations for you
Boundaries- mr girl, this album is one of the most disgusting albums ever made. It's either a hit or a miss.
First utterance- comus, this album is like court of the crimson king if the Court of the Crimson King was folk and a medieval adventure. It's amazing.
The meadowlands- the wrens - this album feels like you're having a midlife crisis. It's awesome.
Dogsbody-model actriz, if you gave caligula a band and some instruments, this is what he would make
Please listen to ringo sheena
kyle's going back inside :(((((((((

@@KyleReidMu if you listen to them, tell me your favorite, or just rank them, idk
I wanna fist fight you for no apparent reason. Anyway nice video!
Fair
George Clanton pioneered sample-free vaporwave with his ESPRIT project so i dont think he uses a lot of samples in his own music
That's sick!
George Clanton, RTJ, cortex- good job you got my music taste at 15 ( im being an asshole but good vid fr)
And dds.wmv
Woah this guy was cool at 15
