    Couldn’t recommend Young Fathers enough. They make music for every single emotion humanly possible and nails it. Their latest project Heavy Heavy is easily #1 for 2023, highly recommend starting there for a sampling platter of their music.

    Currently my favourite song would either have to be Who Is It (Carry My Joy on the Left, Carry My Pain on the Right) by Bjork or All My Friends by LCD Soundsystem. The Bjork song is just incredibly gorgeous and All My Friends has some of the best pacing and my personal favourite climax of any song ever.

    If you ever interested in metal, espically progresive metal I really think you should check my favourite song of all time, that would be the drapery falls by Opeth, really amazing song has influences of folk and jazz in it and it geniuenly has beautiful moments, if you don't mind a bit of growls you should know it is a pretty amazing song, it is quite long though.

    If you want more stuff like be quiet and drive I'd suggest listening to other deftones albums, white pony in particular. They were kinda just nu metal in the 90s but be quiet and drive kinda foreshadowed the sound they would go on to develop in the following years, which is way more alternative and shoegaze influenced.

    I have many favorite songs but two of them are Ill stick around by the foo fighters because its 90s grunge at its perfection and the foo fighters with both that classic nirvana sound combined with trying out something new, and disloyal order of water buffaloes because its a good mix of old school raw fall out boy and the newer more over the top fall out boy that would emerge in save rock and roll and American beauty/American psycho really the best of both worlds.

    interesting pick of a favorite twenty one pilots song. Personally I wouldn't consider any song off of self-titled to be perfect. That's where Trench comes into play, so many incredible songs there

    • @al3ph35
      @al3ph35 10 месяцев назад +1

      TOP's S/T is my favorite album of all time, over anything else they've put out, so I'm obviously incredibly biased here. Trench is cool (probably my third favorite from them) but it lacks the raw unfiltered nature of that first record. I don't think that Tyler's lyricism has ever been more consistent on a full record (although there are tracks that I think are on par, such as Neon Gravestones) and the stories told on self titled are just so interesting and I relate to them on a level of no other record I've heard.

      Hey, hey
      A billion miles to Mark A
      Lay on the lawn, he's already home
      When the morning ray hits his face
      It genuinely takes me somewhere nothing else has been able to. I absolutely love ween so much.
