Natural remedies are traditional medicines. Modern medicines of which you call traditional, came into existence via John D. Rockerfella. Prescription medications are the 3rd leading cause to death, they are constantly recalled, constantly reactive with each other, and usually lead to other problems. It’s time we ask ourselves how cancers and autoimmune diseases saw an influx after the creation of patented medicines. Another question, why should you consult a doctor? It is not their jobs to study medicine, in fact, many of them don’t know the side effects of their own medicine. A pharmacists knows medicine, a doctor learns disease through study.
Firstly, the whole figure about being the 3rd leading cause of death is absolute bs. Secondly, an increase in cancer and autoimmune disorders is not attributed to medicine. For cancer, that can be explained through many factors, such as people's diet generally becoming worse, in addition to an increase in carcinogenic fumes from pollution, combined with a greater life expectancy meaning more people are developing cancer due to being about longer, which is also relevant to a greater screening and detection for cancer. Autoimmune diseases can also be linked to more awareness and diagnostic tools, but also other factors such as parents not exposing their children to common allergens in fear of them developing said allergies. Thirdly, the reason why you should consult a doctor is because they have studied for a decade of their life and know far more than you ever could on biology and the human body. And they do know the side effects of medicine, because just in case you haven't realised, it is doctors who write prescriptions. If you actually did research, you would know that life expectancy before medicine was about 30 years. Acting like medicine is harmful is just willful ignorance.
@@alpheendomination i never said it caused it, but I will. It it proven, and you can do your own research, that medicines like beta blockers, high blood pressure medicines, medicines geared towards diabetes, asthma have links to many cancers. There’s was a chemotherapy drug used for patients with MS popular in the 70’s-90’s that was linked to causing leukemia. Birth control medications stemming from the 90’s linked to metastatic breast cancer. Most recently, MIRENA IUD’s linked to over 75,000 cases of breast cancer, 4000+ specifically in California. A class action filed against Baylor in 2017 that settled in 2018. Merke and Co.‘s diabetes medications Januvia and Janumet, had a cancer causing defect. Put into perspective that studies across the board show higher cancer risk when insulin, pioglitazone, and insulin secretagogues. Higher cancer risk in those who use inhaled steroid medications. And the list goes on. Most patients are prescribed medications BY THEIR DOCTORS, so to think that doctors should have NO CLUE of study of the medications they give is ludicrous. Furthermore, it really doesn’t have to be an argument. Read the risk and side affects of most allopathic medications. Then follow that with tradition Ayurvedic medications that work at low risk. Now let’s also put into perspective that most allopathic medicines run a short trial, but take over 8 years to show a pattern of side effects in statistics. Keep eating the shit you’re fed. Not all medicine is good medicine. Of course pollution cause cancers, many of that pollution starts with petroleum, JUST LIKE ALLOPATHIC MEDICINE.

For the sake of clarity, I am an amateur herbalist. Now having said that, like most, if not all, real herbalists, i view things in a continuum of treatments with allopathic medicine being the least desirable. You pointed out that not all natural remedies are safe or effective and then you go on to list why. The reasons you gave are that some herbs can interact with medications negatively. While this is a fair assertion on the surface & I agree with it, it also relies on the statement, 'can interact with medications negatively'. If you do not take a prescription drug, there will be no interaction & therefore alleviate that worry. You further go on to state that some natural remedies can be toxic in high doses. There are a number of problems with this assertion. A. Nearly all prescriptions are toxic in high doses compared to some herbs. B. Properly prepared herbal medicine will not be given in toxic level doses C. The statement does not mean the herbal treatment is ineffective only that some can be toxic in high doses. D. Herbs are not used by most real herbalists in the same manner allopathic medication is. Most use an energetic system of evaluating which is both accurate & treats the root cause not the symptom unlike the vast majority of allopathic medicines.
@@saitama944 in all honesty it depends on what you're trying to do. In general, modern medicine is more effective at emergency medicine & treating symptoms. Natural medicine is better at healing the cause of the problem and actually fixing what's wrong with you.
@@realherbalism1017 So correct me if i'm wrong. Modern medicine is like a chemical reaction just changing you or your body to be different or something like that so it would be better for emergencies and symptoms as it acts like a chemical reaction. But doesn't kill germs just changes it by not letting it reproduce or weakening it walls and defenses so like a chemical change? Traditional medicines would be there to boost your immune system and physical change you by making you stronger or giving you the defense you need? Feel free to correct and add to that. If you have no formal background in biology, how can you say you are qualified to discuss what impacts the human body in what ways? Yes, medicinal drugs are toxic in high doses. However, taking 2 tablets every 4-6 hours is not ambiguous, taking 30g of a herb is however, due to the fact that there is no substance or purity control in what it is you are actually taking. This is also the problem with you saying that "properly prepared herbal medicine isn't toxic in high doses", because how can you validate what is proper and what isn't? The fact is, the people who partake in this and advise you to not take medicinal drugs do not actually have any knowledge on the human body, and do not have to spend years studying and getting licensing unlike doctors who do have to. What does an "energetic system" have to do with this. Energy and systems are both terms used in physics, not pseudoscience used to treat diseases. Medicinal drugs do not just "treat the symptoms". Along with this, herbalists will use the known properties of a plant like antitussive, catarrhal, balsam, etc. To treat the tissue state above you would need an herb or herbs that create the exact opposite condition (though sometimes you should actually increase the symptoms depending on what it is). For example, Plantago Major or Broadleaf plantain is cooling & drying. Some of it's specific properties are astringent, balsam, & hemostatic.
