Thank you for this video! And thanks you girls, who donate eggs. You are our only hope for creating happy families! I was diagnosed with PCOS a couple of years ago. When I heard this diagnose I was broken. I hoped that medical treatment will help. We used one ukrainian clinic. Procedure of ED was like a fresh gulp of air! Thanks to our donor!
Cool journey! I agree with you, you're not giving a baby away...just DNA. The same DNA we lose everyday when we shed dead hair, skin cells, even when we blow our noses. lol Thanks for sharing and best wishes to you and the family you are helping.
Stefanie Rimpel DNA is what makes people. Now that dna is in someone else, so in a sense you are giving away a baby. Unless they took that dna out and put the receivers in.
Women who donate their eggs and agree to undergo this procedure in spite of all the risks on their own will are doing a really great thing! They help others to fulfill their families and achieve life-important dreams. And I think that the reason why they are doing this automatically goes to the last place. Thank you, girls, for doing this for us! I truly hope that everything is alright with you now and you don't have any health issues! All the best and God bless you!
First of all, this video was really informative and interesting. I do have a question though. I've heard that the pay is good, but my question is about the taxes. A lot of the research I've looked at said that many woman said it was simply not worth it because the cash received is heavily taxed as it is listed as misc. income. Was this true in your case?
I have so many questions, but i have 2 kids and would like more kids in the future. Im glad to give someone the opportunity to have kids but I also need the money. My question is do you choose how many eggs they can take. A lot of ppl donate btw 28-32 eggs. But i also heard you can give btw 8-10 eggs which is what I wanna do. Help me?
What do you mean by ovaries increasing the amount of eggs that they produce? I thought females were already born with a certain amount of eggs & cant produce anymore? 😳
Nooo, this is directly from the website. "During the ovarian stimulation phase, the egg donor uses daily injections of gonadotropin to stimulate her ovaries. In a natural cycle, only one egg matures; gonadotropins injections encourage more than one egg to mature for retrieval."
Tierra Hogan Yeah that still means you have fewer eggs, she's right. It's just that only a few eggs at a time are fertile. That's what they were doing, stimulating your eggs to be released. Sorry but you're not making anymore eggs. You got what you got. Not criticizing you just letting you know. It's better to understand something well before you do it. A little late now, could have told you about it if I knew you earlier
How many eggs were they able to retrieve and were you able to save any of your eggs for you in case YOU actually need to use your younger eggs if you want a baby in the future and your fertility has declined? BTW- I think you are an ideal candidate (personality wise) I just hate that it seems you did it because you needed the money.
