I knew a bass player that had to change strings when his house band took a break. Acid sweat killed the tone, couldn't even pickup with a tuner after a few hrs of play time.

@@Khazandar obviously it's harder. Especially muting the strings if you haven't figured that out yet. The Bass already covers a pretty good range of notes with 4 strings and going above and beyond that will probably ruin the mix you're playing in. For solos or very specific applications 5 and even 6 strings can be useful but unless you want to play a melody your 4 string is going to be more than enough. In a musical context it's way better to work with less notes than with more. You can easily complicate stuff by adding extra notes. You should much rather concentrate on rythm, attack and such details instead of trying to add more notes. That's why 4 string players that mastered those 4 strings are way better than someone who plays a 6 string and doesn't actually know yet what to do with the extra two. Besides with a 5 string for example you really only add 5 lower notes. Might aswell play in a higher octave or tune lower

Polish bass players are insanely good. I'm American but I have polish family and I play bass so this is pretty neat I like playing bass like that too it's extremely hard at first it takes a ton of practice for sure

What I adore most that is a real solo, not a just bunch of slap licks / showing some sofisticated or ultra fast techniques. There's a plot behind it, there is movement according to it, so it is much more interesting to follow that flow. And the ending is breathtaking.
