I bought a Kioti CK2620 this year based on 3 things:
1: Best price/value for the size
    2:Loader lift capacity
3:No emmissions but with bigger frame size
Ive been very happy with it so far.

looks like after warranty you can adjust the injector and make it into a 35hp tractor with no emissions, that is my 4th reason why I am buying the CK2620

Here in Australia the difference in price is massive. The 37 hp Kioti with loader and rear remotes is over $10k cheaper than the Kubota equivalent. Kubota went crazy with its pricing in the last 3 years. 10k buys a lot of fuel, oil, filters, insurance and implements.

@edd189 Insurance is a system where you pay a company a small percentage of the value of your property and they will replace or repair it in case of theft, storm damage or accidental damage etc'. I hope this helps.

Funny Kubota would say something like that...I recently saw a large billboard for Kubota tractors on the road..it proudly read, "The ORIGINAL Orange Tractor!"...well, I immediately went, "NO!"...Wrong!...around here, the ORIGINAL Orange tractor was Allis-Chalmers...Kubota was another little orange tractor that began showing up here in small numbers in the 1970's.....

None of the Kioti tractors can do 2 loader functions at one time for smooth operation and keeping you bucket or forks level at the same time your raising the boom. I worked for a dealer for a while that had Kiotis and I wouldn's trade my Kubota for it ever no matter the price difference.

Also better quality, better warranty and lifts way more…. Kioti also makes most of their own parts in-house which keeps quality high.

You sure you weren’t in southern South Korea? Almost all of their production and HQ is centered around Daegu and Changnyeong which is a satellite town of Daegu (Taegu for you old timers).
They have a sales campus in Seoul but that’s the only thing north that I’m seeing on their page (and I knew to look for it as I’ve driven past it several times on the way to medical clinic in Gangnam).

I really like what Kioti is doing lately and I own a Kubota.. they seem to be listening to tractor owners in their wants and needs.. for the longest time I have been saying that Kubota needs to put out a full glass factory cab with heat and AC on their smaller tractors such as the BX and the B series but they refuse to do it and want to upsell you to their new Lx series.. which is a nice tractor but for some people it’s just a tad too large for what they need.
Also I have always wished they would upscale the BX a bit or make an inbetween model between the B series and bx series.. kioti on the other hand has done ALL of this! All the wishes for Kubota I had are being done on Kioti.. Kubota needs to start listening more to their consumers. They do make EXTREMELY tough and reliable machines which is proven and why they can charge more and that’s ok.. but it would be nice if they did a little more digging on what owners said and implement that more .. now they can’t be upset when a company like Kioti fills all the gaps they could have easily done themselves!

Recently after about a year of research and comparison, I picked up a Kioti CK3520SEH CAB. I anticipate it will be the one and only tractor I will ever own, so I did put a lot of thought into the purchase. I got several implements and attachments to use with it that I wouldn't have been able to afford if I had gone JD or Kubota. It could have been TYM or LS, but the Kioti dealer seemed the best to work with service wise. Dealer distance had a bit to do with the decision as well.

I got a Bobcat, which is just about a rebadged Kioti. It was $8000 less than a comparable Kubota and $10000 less than a JD. Bobcat gave you the loader free if you paid cash. JD only offered a $300 cash discount and Kubota $800. I think the structure at Kubots and JD is to give you fake cheap financing, get you hooked on a service agreement, and sell you some insurance. I called bobcat , told what I wanted, they said we can deliver that on Thursday, they unloaded and I gave them a check. It was easier than shopping at home depot.

Maybe instead of sueing your competition, Kubota should listen to their customers. Kubota is a very reliable brand but they need to vastly improve their compact line. Kubota compacts are to light in the chassis and fall way short in FEL capacity. Korean tractors have way more standard features and transmission choices. Kubota nickle and dimes you for common sense features i.e. floor mat, economy pto, cruise control, extendable links, tilt steering, arm rest, comfortable seats etc.... Kubota will continue to lose business in the compact market unless they can up their game and lower their prices. Big ag tractors will always sell but the compact tractor market is mostly small hobby farmers who are on strict budgets. The korean tractors are proving to be very hard working, reliable machines.

I have a 2015 NX4510 and keep breaking stuff on it. 3400 hours. Hood latch fell off last week: baling wire fix. Backoe sub-frame cracked: used a 3" C-channel liner welded back in. Both forward and reverse potentiometers have been replaced. The fuel filter is not up to par: new injectors and fuel metering pump; $1700 at dealer. Pins for the front bucket keep breaking the oval retainers: weld them again and again...... Starter wire curcuit failed: jump the starter solenoid with needle nose pliers until I find the wire break. Suction hose leaked air into hydraulic suction line: replace hose with two clamps on each side to correct. Coolant hoses dripping: tighten clamps and keep filling the reservoir (head gasket?). Door latch failed twice ($280 a pop): used baling twine loop. A/C quit last Summer: mice got in the roof; remove roof and clean them out, sanitize, plug holes where they got in. I called Kioti and left messages for assistance, but no reply. They don't seem to have a Service Representative. The dealer has nice people, but I'm glad I bought the $200 Shop Manual. I don't like Kubota's F/R pedal. It has caused accidents. I own and operate a working ranch where I use this machine every day for multiple purposes. It's a light duty tractor for gentlemen farmers. I'm currently shopping Case, New Holland, Massey. Buy USA. The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten: Benjamin Franklin.

@@GB-mp6ws 3400 hours and backhoe. Sounds like you are putting it to heavy use. Mine only has 80 hours in 2 years. I have other much bigger heavier older tractors to do farm work. I cut hay with it this year because the air went out on my hay tractor 85 Case 1394. Handled hay equipment very well better than i thought it would. I only use my Kioti to mow, clean driveways spray and lift pallets. I bought it for $36000. The equivalent Deere was $58,000. Im happy with it.

Know they use the Czechoslovakian Belarus axle that's been in use since the early 1960s.
Those axles are almost bulletproof, but they are limited to about 75 hp, and can hold more dead weight on top of them than any other design.
Until till about 2005 you could cross reference the Kubota part with the Belarus on the ring and pinion and axle housings and all seals and bushings.

I think the engineering is better on the Kubota than the Kioti. I own a Kioti, and while I love it's features It has some design and engineering issues. #1, it doesn't have enough cooling. #2 V-Belts? Still? #3 easily damaged parts (I've ripped off my gas tank skid, broke off the magnet in the oil filter, busted the 3-point hitch but it still works, shattered a door, etc...) Every Tractor has issues though but I will say that the Kioti is probably a bit over priced and the Kubota is probably appropriately priced. I'm sure if I had to live with a Kubota I'd find faults with it too.

Both were purchased used. Kubota is GST and Kioti is HST. The Kubota is physically larger because it’s a Grand L so it feels more stable and less bouncy. I think colors were used to identify the brands working in the field. And for John Deere, the colors do mean something, green for growth and yellow for harvest. As for the others, Farmall were gray and then changed to red, Ford also were gray and then changed to red and light gray and then to blue, Allis Chalmers orange and were probably gray in the early days. Ferguson were known as the "Little Gray Fergies" in the UK. Manufacturers went away from the gray to help identify their brand when working in the field and for looks.

My brother bought a Kioti and it spent more time in the shop than in the field during the first year he owned it. Every time I borrowed his tractor to use on my small farm something on it broke, all covered by warranty not abusive use, and it constantly overheated due to dust in the filter and radiator. When I bought a tractor I bought a similar sized Kubota, and told the dealer all the problems my brother had, the dealer wouldn't say anything bad about Kioti even saying Kioti was a good tractor and that my bother's problems were unusual in his opinion. I have had my Kubota for over a year and no shop time and no overheating problems doing the same work as the Kioti only harder since its my tractor.

Glad to hear of your experience with your Kubota. I did a video helping out a guy who had a nightmare with his Kubota that sounds similar to your brother's Kioti experience. It can and will happen with all manufacturers.

There’s a European tractor company ( Vultra ) that’s well known for having any color you want. That was their selling point for awhile in the early 2000’s, “comes in any color”.

Ha ha ha, funny you picked the Ford configration site for color options given your past history with Ford's. Your point on Tractor is a tractor however (unless you dig into spec's) is a point taken. Full disclosure; own a Kubota (sub-compact) and am happy. Maybe would be as well with a Kioti .... neighbor has one and is happy with it.
PS: I'm in Canada so while I love your input .... it's just perspective for me and I appreciate that.

Kioti Tractors lift considerably more than comparable sized Kubota tractors and are heavier. I have been considering a new compact 35-40 HP tractor and the Koiti is just more tractor for the money. I could care less about the color, other than the Kubota paint job stinks, as they fade terribly. Kubota and JD offer the benefits of more dealerships and a larger volume of parts in the USA.

I don’t see how Kubota has a leg to stand on. The last time I compared the two side by side, the Kioti was clearly the more innovative product. First the Kubota pedals, yikes, what’s that about. But besides that, the Kioti model in my price bracket was just better thought out. Fluid filters, fill ports, dipsticks, drain locations, all better laid out. Kubota’s model was not bad, but Kioti’s was better - and clearly thought out - it wasn’t accidental. The front steering mechanism again was better protected, which is good when dealing with brush. Color, Kioti is clearly more reddish than orange, it’s just not the same. Hood design, really it’s a tractor and must work with a FEL in place. Form follows function. The 3 point hitches, well they are 3 point hitches just like everyone else - that seems facetious but it is pertinent. Tractors need certain things, weight, ground clearance, ability to take attachments. The “body” metalwork is just there to keep the rain off the engine, allow access, and not interfere with the FEL. They are pretty much the same, some fit better, some are green and made from plastic. They all do their job.

Daedong used to do the sheet metal stamping of hoods, body and rear fenders for Kubota. My 2000 model Kioti LK-3054 had the same sheet metal parts as the sub compact Kubotas of that time period even the model LK was really close to Kubota L. The paint scheme was orange and dark blue, same as Kubota. So yes Kioti copied Kubota back then, and created brand confusion for sure.
FWIW, My 2000 model Kioti was a great tractor and really strong for its size. I replaced it with a Kubota due to a lack of parts availability for the 20 year old Kioti. At 20 years it had 1500 hrs but I could not find a replacement hydraulic pump for it. Power steering would quit working after 45 minutes of loader work on a 80 degree day. My local Kioti dealer stated that parts would have to come from South Korea if available and may be Deadong labeled (During Covid 2020). Might be interesting to see how much warehouse space in Wendell,NC Kioti has compared to past years. Compare with Kubots parts support growth and JD over the same period of time.

Ive always been a Kubota guy and always will be but i must say Kioti is a very affordable and well valued machine and very capable too The Kubota Dealer I deal with from time to time has been easy to work with and very knowledgeble one thing i wish kubota would do is have the 3rd function standard and offer a gear transmission on the LX series 8 gears or more. And lower the prices down. The reason i may stick with kubota is the dealers close by ease of buying parts and reliability from my experience. Both are exellent I ran a 1025 John Deere sub compact once i was not impressed with it in fact id favor my gravely 8199kt. I am thinking of getting the Kubota LX2620 model with the front loader but Kioti is on the radar of others im looking at too but the Kioti dealer is a longer drive.

Screw Kubota. They got too big of an ego now. I was shopping tractors not even 6 months ago and MULTIPLE Kubota dealers were abysmal. WELL over MSRP pricing on Kubotas - not a single one was even near sticker, which is absurd as it is. Ended up going with a Kioti NS and unbelievably happy with that choice. Kioti for life now. I even have a diesel mower and K9 from them and they've been great.
Had I have bought the Kubota I would have been nickled and dimed on everything, even the accessories I've bought since.

"biggest in history" is a headline to make it sound more severe. It was 2 million dollars. Kubota has a yearly revenue around 20 billion. It's just a government shakedown to pad their budget. Most large corporations get these fines for stupid stuff because the government knows it's cheaper to pay it than fight it.

I do know of some “color option” tractor history. John Deere in the 70s made a garden tractor called the “Patio” which had a white belly and options of Metallic blue, orange, red, or yellow bodywork.
White Tractors built the “American” series in the early 90s, you could order a tractor in Cockshutt Red, Oliver Green, MM yellow or white silver.
I believe NH did a special edition 8N tribute tractor at one point. Same color scheme, custom hood.
Not as cool as the old fords though, boy those are some beautiful old tractors.
Regarding the change, do I see a new to market implement hitched up?

The painton Kubota fades fast . Kubota does have options. But at higher prices that is stock features over seas . Not good for owners of a few years older machines and the options for third function or rear remotes is a big kicker if you want to upgrade from factory stock . Kioti is making big strides in the small tractor market and at a lower cost. From a mechanic that used to work at a Kubota dealership. As for buyers do your research and look into dealer support in your area. Find what is most cost effective for your needs.. Regardless of manufacturer!

Even though the colours look similar the tinters used to create the colours are different even though the colours do look very similar. So I think it is pretty hard to sue a company that uses a similar colour unless the exact paint tints were used to create the colour.

All that mulcher footage goodness. Do the tractor mounted ones work as well... hum.... More on topic. I have an L3400 (kubota) which seems to me to be one fantastically reliable and durable machine. as it has survived 7 years of my ignorance being my first tractor. I've also a recently inherited a JD 2305 which is primary a snow blower. I'm afraid to do much else with Least it break transmission. lots of questionable points on that, from the undocumented grease fittings that, if not taken care of, blow out the trans at 500hrs, to the weak transmission housings, to the valve covers that shatter and blow up the engines (ok thats a 1025/1026 issue, but it looks like the 2305 is made the same) Several of my friends have Kioti's as thats the local dealer around here and, all more in line with the size of the JD, they seem much more solidly built than the 2305. I'd pickup a same sized Kioti over a JD any day of the week.
