This video is amazing Claudia! Love having your husband mic’d and sharing his feedback. Please don’t beat yourself up about not sharing earlier in the year. We are all learning too. Your friends here will watch your videos when you post, but please do not put pressure on yourself. And to have Kate & Janey there! So, so fun! That’s when I started watching too. You got this! Thank you! And much, much success to you! Happy New Year!
Thank you so much Rhonda. Like I mentioned you guys show up for me and I always want to show up for you. Thank you for being here and being so supportive. Honestly having Kate and Janey here was the absolute best, I can’t wait to spend more time with those two. ❤️
Claudia! You are really good at this! Especially the off the cuff conversations, your passion and cool smartness comes through so naturally. Thank you for taking us to Brazil and to your dahlia hero’s farms too, those were my favorite moments. 2024 was good and 2025 will be great 😊
Aww thank you Brandon!! Honestly this makes my day to get feedback like this. I’m so happy we went on so many adventures togethers. I’m right there with you, meeting all those amazing farmers was definitely one of my favorite moments this year. 🥰
I’m also glad you made the commitment to your RUclips channel. You have quickly become one of my favorite people to watch. I also enjoyed your husband sharing in this video. 😊
I love this video! I started my channel last January and I totally get the feeling like an imposter, not capturing lots that we do in the garden and feeling comfortable in front of the camera! I love your channel and wish you the best in the New Year!!!
I’ve been watching you since your tours of swan island fields. I got back into growing dahlias after a 15 year break (long story) and there are so many more beautiful types coming out now-I quickly went overboard. I joined a local dahlia society which is a great place to learn more. I made raised beds just for the dahlias and other flowers. At 72 I’m in a rush to construct the frame work so I can concentrate on the gardening before I get toooo old. My biggest problem is voles, coming in from the forest. So I have a tip to share that works for me to control them, maybe for others. I have a tractor that I hook up an old garden hose to the exhaust and put the end down a vole entrance hole, cover up any other holes with a rock or brick and turn on the engine. Gas them for 20 minutes. A car or lawn mower engine would also work to produce the carbon monoxide-also figuring out the connection is required. But it is the easiest way for me to save my dahlias from the varmints. I saw this method on a RUclips channel so people can do a search. You are fun to watch, you keep it rolling and your personality is very pleasant. Thanks for all your effort in the video production.
Wow Marie!! This is incredible! Thank you so so much for being here and being supportive all this time, that truly made my day! I commend you for all of your hard work, and am sorry about the voles! It seems like you found a great solution through. I love hearing about your guys struggles and what you’re doing to fight it, I know I will face similar challenges when we have land so it’s always nice hearing about your experiences. 🥰 Please keep me posted on how things continue on in the garden.
Claudia, your enthusiasm is contagious ❤. Love your content and can't wait to watch your journey in the coming year. Thanks so much for sharing your love of gardening.
Thank you Claudia and Sergei. I loved your Meet the Farmer Gardener videos. I see that I missed a few. I will watch them. You have engaging interviews. The love shines through.
So glad I discovered your RUclips channel this year via Kate and Janey and very pleased we can now hear Sergey’s thoughts during filming. It’s a joy to view your videos! They’re on my regular RUclips video weekly watch. Looking forward to seeing your 2025 videos with all the gardening knowledge you offer. It’s especially fun and insightful to see someone garden through the PNW weather seasons as I do. Wishing you and family all the best in the New Year!
Thank you so much Ann. I feel equally as thankful for meeting so many of you through Kate and Janey. We definitely have differences in terms of gardening in the PNW which I love I get to share. 🥰 Thank you for being so supportive.
Ohh Sheela thank you so much!! Ireland has always been on my bucket list to visit, what a beautiful country. Thank you for being supportive and being here. Happy New Year! 🥰❤️
Your too sweet Claudia! You do a fabulous job! Sometimes we just get busy in other areas of our lives and things get out on the back burner or we just forget to share! All good. Happy New Year to you and Sergio and your momma and family. , 🎄🌺🎊🥳🎉
Thank you Goretti, you have been so incredible and supportive since day one! Thank you for always being so insightful and taking the time to give feedback. I wish you the happiest New Year. ❤️🥰
Hi Claudia and Sergey 👋 I love this recap of your journey this past year 😊 Although I have only been blessed with meeting you through Kate and Janey (which I soooo love the 3 of you together by the way) When I have a chance, I have started watching your videos from 4 years ago. 😁 (more Claudia please lol) Love that you are "real" we do want to go through the process, the journey. You know I am so excited about the side garden 😊 eek... 😂 I must say, I am so glad that Sergey has a mic on. 😊 Thank you both for being such a wonderful inspiration to me, and getting me excited about growing and improving my own garden. I don't really have anyone except hubby and our oldest daughter to talk about gardening with, our other 3 daughters dont care much. Our youngest which we live with is definitely not into any of it. She likes Hibiscus 🌺 (her favorite flower) And of course I do too. So I have 3 😊 I told her I wanted to plant a Blood Orange tree because she loves that Orange 🍊 and her hubs loves Lemons 🍋 so I want to plant that. She has 4 kids, so her 11 yo is showing interest, and the 2 girls, 4 and 2, I will try to get into gardening, they do love their Mamaws pretty flowers 🥰 but, Ashley doesn't want the responsibility, (She has so much responsibility as it is)so when I pass hopefully the kids will continue. Oops chatted your ear off again. Love you guys. Wishing you a Blessed and Amazing New Year.🎉 From the Texas Gulf Coast here, Always, Jen 💜
Jen I love when you share, trust me you’re never over sharing so talk away. I found that once you find your people that you can connect with about things you love, it just feels so good to share everything. 😆 I love that you try and plant things that may spark interest for your kids and grandkids, I hope they get more into gardening. Maybe they just haven’t found that thing or plant that has made them become more curious and excited about gardening, I have faith they will get there. 🥰 in the meantime we have each other to talk about all things garden and flowers. 🤗😁
You brighten my days! Your energy and happy demeanor is contagious. Love that your husband is part of your gardening journey as well. I look forward to everything that is to come. Keep on keeping on!
Hi Claudia , love this year end video, I really got to know you better. I really look forward to 2025 and all of your plans. All of my gardening is containers because I rent , I use my front steps and My back patio. I do Delhi’s , do a pollinators garden container , roses and some vegetables. So see you 2025😊
Thank you friend! I love how resourceful you are! When we rented we also did so much container gardening, which to me is even more impressive because you have to be so dedicated to your plants. 🥰
Hi Claudia, I'm happy for you ! I love also how your husband is so supportive ! I feel you, it's not easy to show things we're not happy/proud of, that still need some work (my channel is recent and it's tough sometimes to let go of some fears) but I love your kind of energy and the excitement you get from doing something you love :) Happy new year !
Thanks friend, I had to get past it and I’m so happy I did. I’m just excited I can share everything now and know it’s relatable to everyone, do you know what I mean? Keep growing, you got this. I’m super excited for more plants, garden tours, and dahlias for 2025. 🥰
Thank you for making your videos. My favorites have been your location interviews and just videos of your garden! So much improvements in the last 2-3 yrs I’ve been watching 😊 looking forward to 2025! Also, I am working on adding a rose garden next year. DA roses coming in May. My dahlias are looking great, so thank you again for the gift certificate that got me started on dahlias!! ❤
Awww thank you Tammie!! You have been so sweet all this time, I’m so happy to hear about your roses and dahlias. How many roses are you planting in May? I’d live to know which ones. 🥰
I ordered Windermere, queen of Sweden, lady of shalott, the generous Gardner, and Olivia from DA. And from a local nursery sale Winchester cathedral, desdemona, molineux, lichfield angel. And ordered too many more from high country roses and Heirloom roses - but what a way to start a rose garden! Adding to my 15 established roses in landscape from last 3-4 seasons ago - when I started watching you I believe. New and bare yard. Roses survived in my dry, sandy soil so it’s win for me!
Thank you for continuously posting your videos ❤ You two are amazing, I absolutely love your channel and all the tours to different places such an inspiration and fun for all garden lovers. I am new to posting on my RUclips channel and more of a home Gardner doing everything on our own, we feel like we are continuously fixing problems. I’m in Northern California Zone 9b a different climate than Janey Santos, much cooler here day and night in the Tri-Valley ❤ We are not in Napa or Lodi, and but are in Wine Country. We are looking forward to your channel in 2025 and all the adventures.
Oh thank you so much! I loved bringing you all along all of our garden and farm tours this year, I'm excited for the ones in 2025. I know how it is to seem to always be fixing something in the garden, I think we can all related to that, but I love that you're documenting and sharing it. 🥰
Love your channel. Keep up the dependable posting I look forward to your channel. Especially since you are local so great info for area and local nurseries. Have a great New Year❤
Thank you so much Nancy! I love connecting with so many locals too, it’s a great way to network and get all the details on good gardening and garden centers in our area. ❤️
Whaaaat!! You are too sweet!! Just to be in the same category is an honor. Thank you for your unwavering support, I wish I could give you a big hug. ❤️🤗
Hi Claudia, I found your channel from Janey. I enjoy your content & look forward to your side yard project next year. Great decision to 🎤 up your husband. Great to hear your conversations about this past year for you both. 🇨🇦
Thank you so much Linda!! What part of Canada? We have been dying to take a trip up to visit some gardens. I loved having Sergey mic up too, he has so much great feedback, I'm happy we got to look back at 2024 together. Thank you so much for being here. 💞
@ Hi Claudia, I’m in Amherstburg, Ontario. Across the river from Detroit. The southernmost part of 🇨🇦. We have a lot of wineries in our area as we are similar latitude to California’s wine region. I have about 1/4 acre yard. Started growing vegetables about 2 years ago as well as Dahlias. I felt your pain when you mentioned loosing all your tubers.
Feel your pain with the little limes at Costco. I bought 17 incrediball hydrangeas at Costco and planted them in front of my house - they are beautiful! Enjoy yours.
Love your videos. I have moved trees and plants constantly also. BUT I especially like meet the gardener series. You have renewed my love of dahlias. My husband had cancer and he would take bouquets to his doctors, nurses, pharmacist. So after he died I lost interest. Thank you for taking us into your journey gardening.
Oh my heart, thank you for sharing this with us Joyce. I’m so sorry for the loss of you husband, I can’t imagine how difficult that must have been. When you mentioned how he would bring them all bouquets, that brought tears to my eyes. If you have the space and are interested, I would love to send you a few tubers this spring. ❤️❤️❤️
Hey Claudia! I loved this video! I’m a fairly new RUclips content creator. Janey featured me on her channel. She really has done so much for other channels. I’m so glad you got to have that time with her and Kate. It clearly inspired you so much! You really are good at this. Congratulations on where you have gotten!! Deanna @gardensglory ❤🌺
Thank you friend!! It’s a wild world but now making videos is the thing I enjoy most. 🥰 Seriously Janey is so giving with her time and lifting everyone up, she’s truly a gift. ❤️ I wish you the very best this next year, and can’t wait to see more of your videos.

Aww Karen!! 🤗 Thank you do much, I think this is one of the best decisions I’ve made. Thank you for all the love and support. ❤️
More Q and A please and some seeds starting videos would be great!!❤
Yes Linda, on it. I can't wait to start! I've already started the great seed search but want to wait so we can do it all together. 😆
I love this video! I started my channel last January and I totally get the feeling like an imposter, not capturing lots that we do in the garden and feeling comfortable in front of the camera! I love your channel and wish you the best in the New Year!!!
Aww thank you friend. I know it’s hard, and super vulnerable at times but you just have to push yourself and for it, you got this! ❤️🥰
@@InTheGardenWithClaudia thank you for your encouragement!
I followed you from Jeanne as well I find myself getting up every morning looking for a new video I truly enjoy watching ❤
Wow really??? That makes me want to cry, happy tears of course! Thank you so much for all the kind words and for being here. 🤗🥹
