Note weight can be a little on the thinner side, but good resolution/detail. You feel the sub bass but only when present in the track. My main complaint is the 5KHz peak can fatigue for longer sessions, but there are far worse IEMS. Upper treble is sparkly, can make some poorly mastered songs sound a little noisy/gritty/not as clean: well produced songs will be airy and fun. If you have $20 lying around, then get the CCA CRA.
@@sorcerermax5111 I think the SeeAudio Midnight would not have the 5KHz peak. I don't own them so I can't say for sure. I have the Blon 03, MELE, and Starfield to name a few. CRA is light, and has good fit for me, I bought a second pair to mod (now that there are some mod guides for the CRA). I bought a cheap upgrade cable for it. I like metal, busy songs, any song with decent sub-bass, and orchestra music on it. The upper treble extension is welcome, you here various little details that you wouldn't here with other IEMs that downplay past 10KHz. It is great detail for a Dynamic Driver. I haven't noticed any timbre oddities, I think everything sounds like it should, more or less, just a matter of how forward something is and how quick the note fades (if there isn't data/sound recorded in the track, the DD isn't going to linger at all). Soundstage is wide (left-right) but flat. They are easy to drive, which make it tempting to turn the volume up and that can be a problem with the 5KHz peak, but loud volumes can be a problem with any headphone. They really have no business sounding as good as they do for the price. Between the CRA, EDX Pro, and EDS, the CRA is the clear standout for having a nozzle filter that works with the driver. If you don't get the details, then pair with any half decent dongle DAC (Apple Dongle USB C for example).
@@TheMartiansLoveKuato Okay, I ordered one. It'll come tomorrow. I am not a fan of IEMs with thin note weight but lets see how it goes. I have many tips and cables to roll so will experiment
@@sorcerermax5111 It isn't super thin or anything, just a tad leaner than my other IEMs. But also more detailed than many of my other IEMs. Give yourself sometime to get use to how they sound and find what songs suit them best. @@TheMartiansLoveKuato Hi, I found this headfi review "what CRA fails to capture, which BL-03 easily portrays, is the natural feel of the vocals..the vocals are more detailed and nuanced in the CRA. However, most of the time, it fails to capture the emotion that the singer wants to express in a song" - does that ring true with you. Sounds like these are clear and detailed but miss note weight and have an unnatural 5k peak so wonder why they are getting so much attention (zpolt, vortex, bggar, honest audiophile). Overall what's your best rec under $50 so far for both clear detailed sound plus natural full vocals - or would you say it's horses for courses (just read another of your comments comparing to Blon BL03) with what you have heard up to now. T3+ seems to be often rec'd but not heard it myself..
The cable quality and sound is just fine. You might want to upgrade for something with better handling and looks. But don't expect a drastic change in the sound.
Sounds like a bargain.. but from a headfi review "what CRA fails to capture, which BL-03 easily portrays, is the natural feel of the vocals..the vocals are more detailed and nuanced in the CRA. However, most of the time, it fails to capture the emotion that the singer wants to express in a song" - does that ring true with you and if so any other recs for natural realistic male and female vocals.
No, I don't agree with that. BL03 mids are slightly more forward but as a result, it has a smaller soundstage and not as good detail retrieval. CRA is very dependent on a good fit and seal so tip rolling is a must. Get that right and you'll be amazed how good CRA sounds.
I see the zen product there. What is your benchmark dac and amp for all your reviews? I tried my CRA with HipDAC ver 1, S9 pro, Venture Electronics odyssey HD and AVANI, Cxpro, and another dongle called X1. CRA + X1 was the best combo. Tied for synergy is S9 pro single ended and the Odyssey HD...No need for $90 hidiz or even higher ifi gear. HipDAC single ended out was actually my 2nd least favorite. Didn't test balanced out of the HipDAC which is almost always better experience because I figured 99% of ppl who buy the CRA aren't the ppl dropping hundreds on balanced topology for a ultra budget iem.
I tend to switch DACs often, depending on which IEMs/headphones or DACs I'm reviewing. I prefer the sound of the iFi Micro iDSD Signature but I don't like needing to use 2 USB-C cables (1 for data and 1 for power). Zen DAC is convenient and sounds nice, plus it has single-ended and balanced outputs so I use it quite a lot. Then again, if I'm using active speakers, I prefer a DAC with balanced XLR outputs like the Singxer SDA-2 or Topping DX7 Pro.

I am a total sucker for budget phones that punch above their weight. My only hesitation is that I recently received a couple CCA models and find both to be too bulky for my ears with too short of stems. I've only just got them so maybe they will work well with the right tips (which, if anyone can make a recommendation I would be grateful), but until I figure that out I will have to hold off on anything else from CCA

listening with my cra! I really love :D! Some got these for $15 but I managed to get it on Amazon EU at €22 D: still pretty good! I prefer these than the Zex and NRA
@@oceanmangg CRN is more.. muted .. much more balanced compare to CRA If you compare CRN and CRA's frequency response, you notice that CRA is much more V shape than CRN (more bassy and extended treble) CRN has a treble problem (8kHz peak affects the treble) and to fix that, you need to apply an EQ (you can find one on reddit) With the applied EQ, I prefer CRN than CRA, but CRA is really good , especially if you prefer V-shape tuning
It adds an extra point of possible failure and sometimes causes channel imbalance. However, there are cables with remotes and mics available on Amazon and AliExpress if you search around.
Depends on preference. CRA has better technicalities than BLO3 but not as much bass. Heart mirror has a bigger stange but CRA has more natural tone and warmth.

Ok.....other than becoming an IEM junkie, I love my CCA NRA's ($22), can't live without my KZ ZS10 Pro's (sub $35) and my daily drivers are the Whizzer HE01 ($70). Now you're showing me a single DD for less than $15. I do own the Blon03 and my major complaint with those is that its lacking treble clarity and at times, sound a little dull. How do these compare to the Blon03?
I would take the ZEX pro (with EQ) over these all day. ZEX pro has better mids, I find them more natural and clear, electric guitars sound much awesome. Same with the bass, I absolutely love the ZEX pro's bass tuning, it is clean and lets the mids shine while still producing nice rumble, while the CRA has more bass but also way more treble, so the bass does not feel as clean. Treble on the CRA is very detailed, but can be a too much at higher volumes. In the other hand, ZEX pro's treble sounds way tamer and is also quite detailed and natural (after EQ fix). ZEX pros fit my ears perfectly after a cable mod and isolate way better than CRA. ZEX pros might have a bit bigger stage, too. EQ really does wonders for the ZEX pro, fixes thin mids and weird treble. My new favourite! This is just my opinion, keep that in mind. They are not too great without the recommended EQ fix, then CRA is undoubtedly better.
@@ChillMusic15-z5m CRA absolutely. 03 has the bass for electric bass guitar but it's not as engaging as the CRA. CRA also has the treble extension for guitar squeals and 20th fret solos that metal demands that the 03 can't compete with. Both are great but metal is CRA hands down. 14$ CRA out of the box with stock tips and cable is ready to go. 24-35$ blon-03 REQUIRES aftermarket cable and eartips. That'll more than than double the cost of the CRA stock. CRA wins again.
The Blon Bl 03 is a warm blanket: it has great warm tone and will play like a childhood memory. It needs the right tips, I have had good luck with the Spinfit CP-100, but others may need longer tips to get a good seal, and an upgrade cable because the included cable is no good. If you listen to a lot of vocals or older music (before digital recording), then it would be a good choice. The CCA CRA is a cup of coffee: it will delight with clean, fast presentation. It isn't going to bloat the bass. It doesn't slam or rumble, but it displays sub-bass well. I particularly like how well drums and cymbals play. It has the superior driver and will play details that the Blon 03 can't keep up with. I wouldn't listen to any low bitrate MP3s on the CRA.
They changed the tuning now it's way different sound. I still prefer original cra more than current release. Very unique fast decay driver with two way extension (subbass and upper treble) that no other $100 iem managed to replicate.
Mine sometimes have a hizzing sound, and find some song that my ear cannot stand the sound using this cca, like forever by justin bieber its hurts my ears.

Please try to review Nicehck DB1.
Vou comprar ele, já assisti vários vídeos falando bem dele, vamos ver se e isso tudo mesmo.
Spinfit cp100/145 tips may work for you. No guarantees but they may work better than stock tips as you have fit issues
Your suggestion can be adopted. This is a good suggestion.
What a good analysis, as always! 😍
I have a question that goes around in my head.
What would be the best IM headset of 64ohm or more for my dac bass head, but that does not exceed 50 dollars?
Thank you and I look forward to your next videos with great enthusiasm
I can't think of a single IEM under $50 that has such high impedance.
@@PrimeAudioReviews or 32ohms?
would the CCA CRA be good for gaming and especially talking with my friends on discord would the audio quality be just fine?
Yes, it's great for gaming but you might want to check some of the newer stuff like 7Hz Salnotes Zero or ZiiGaat Nuo.
@PrimeAudioReviews hey thanks for the response do the 7hz salnotes have a good enough microphone to talk with friends and playing?
@hellraiser4799 I don't know if there's a mic version available to be honest but if there is it will be fine. Otherwise, consider KZ ZS10 Pro X or Celest Wyvern Pro.
@@PrimeAudioReviewsi checked out on amazon for 7hz salnotes it is having a mic version as well but i can't find any youtube video testing its microphone quality which is a bit of a problem
@@PrimeAudioReviews i saw on amazon that the salnotes iem is having a mic version but cant find any microphone test on youtube so thats a problem
I am casual listener, currently i am using Sony wf1000xm4, should i upgrade to cca,
I don't know the wf100xm4.
No, get aria instead..
Which is best iem for technicalities (detail, imaging, separation, dynamics) under $25? My only preference is technicalities (I want to hear different instruments and micro details in music at-least good enough, as I know I can't get too much detail's imaging, separation, dynamics in this price range.) not tunning.
Guys do you actually notice a difference between wired and bluetooth?
Yes, but the gap is getting smaller.
I can't wait to get mine :'(( I ordered them last week and they're still not delivered yet
Did you ordered them from alliexpress and how are they?
@@thedestroyer3879 I ordered them from Concept Kart for about 15$ and they're really very good for someone like me who enjoys bass. It's bassy and crystal clear at the same time. Buy them without a second thought. You won't regret.
@@thedestroyer3879 I ordered them from conceptkart for 15$
Which is better CCA CRA or KZ es4?
CCA CRA OR CCA CRA PLUS OR KZ EDX ULTRA which one should i buy?
Start with the CRA if you have never bought any iem yet
Now there are the upgraded version, CCA CRA+
Maybe you can compare them and know wether is it better or not?
I have too much other stuff at the moment so I'll probably skip the CRA+.
CRA v/s CRA+ v/s zst x v/s zsn pro x.? which will be best for beginners in terms of cleanest voice + good bass + best mic quality ?
I would actually rec the KZ ESX.
Which one should I buy as a bass lover? Zex, Zex pro or CRA
KBEAR KS2 or KZ DQ6.
If you are treble shy and like a darker, bassy IEM, the KZ DQ6S was just released.
VE BIE if you are a bass lover, they can take you to Mariana Trench. I have 17 IEMs including CRA and VE BIE has the most bass
Man o man, ya kicked my ass, with that lead in , to the cca/ cra...there izza ton a hype on this iem, right now, and , i usually stray from hype, needing a complement to my whizzer bs1z, I ave 3 in mind, cca/ cra/ cca/ nra, lectrostatic driver onboard, or the tanchjim tanya, PAR, has me seriously considerin , the hype now..Great review by ya, PAR, all in caps, gotta give credit, where credit is do..thanx for a hyped, maybe, bigger then the cra, itself review..peace
How do these compare to the truth ear zero since they aim for harman, which one do you prefer
I haven’t heard it. 🎧
I bought these (CCA CRA) Been using these from couple weeks i with flac music files in my cheap android phone with poweramp music player dont feel any difference and these are my first IEM do i really need a DAC TO LISTEN High quality music
You don't really need a dac with CRA because it's easy to drive. A dac will improve the sound slightly but won't be a huge difference
@@PrimeAudioReviews oh Thankyou for the reply I'm using a cheap android phone I don't see any difference so I asked
@@UnstoppableAngler you do not fill any difference compare to what, to another Iem's , phone free earphones or phone speakers? I have flagship Samsung's AKG earphones and every Iem sounds better, not only CAA! Also android phone's dac's in 90% are a rubbish. Good dongle or dac will change sound massively.
CCA CRA or KZ ZST X??? Which one you'll prefer
CRA all day.
do they sound harsh? I don't have good experience with cheap chifi ,Most of them sound harsh.
listening with my cra! I really love :D! Some got these for $15 but I managed to get it on Amazon EU at €22 D: still pretty good!
I prefer these than the Zex and NRA
Have you tried the kz crn? Im assuming thats the zex ... Howd they compare ?
@@oceanmangg CRN is more.. muted .. much more balanced compare to CRA
If you compare CRN and CRA's frequency response, you notice that CRA is much more V shape than CRN (more bassy and extended treble) CRN has a treble problem (8kHz peak affects the treble) and to fix that, you need to apply an EQ (you can find one on reddit)
With the applied EQ, I prefer CRN than CRA, but CRA is really good , especially if you prefer V-shape tuning
Which one has more bass cra or nra and clear sound
I got some today and fyi there is a white static-like noise when you aren't playing any audio.
That's probably due to your low-quality source (phone or pc etc).
These or the Tripowin Lea?
How do you compare the sound between KZ ZAS Vs CCA CRA, which is better?
why these IEMs do not have volume keys cables? Are there separate cable with mic and volume keys sold?
It adds an extra point of possible failure and sometimes causes channel imbalance. However, there are cables with remotes and mics available on Amazon and AliExpress if you search around.
Tips rolling it. It will WOW you more.
What does that mean?
It means trying different types and sizes of eartips until you find the ones that give you the best seal and fit.
@@geno8079 Try different eartips on CRA.
Bro is it good for gaming at this price range??
Yes, of course.
Destroys blon 03? Vs heart mirror?
Depends on preference. CRA has better technicalities than BLO3 but not as much bass. Heart mirror has a bigger stange but CRA has more natural tone and warmth.
Got 'em for $8 2 days ago + $3 for moondrop spring tips(M size). loved it.
Pretty best deal how the price go down from 14 to 8$...
So why moondrop spring tips? it got tight grip on my ears.
Are these USB-C I have a Samsung with no headphone jack
No. These have a 3.5mm plug. If you want to use with your phone you will need a dongle or Bluetooth amplifier.
Im thinking about buying either this or the blon bl 03 what should i take?
Me too confuse about the same😭
If you buy anyone of them plz tell me ur review
I got the wjlp cca cra is it the same version because there's many different versions
I have no idea what you're talking about.
Man please suggest me which budget iem should i pick as my first kz zst x,zex, cca cra or nra putting instrument sepration as my first priority.
You need to know what kind of sound you like to hear, Because each model is different.
Go for ZS10 Pro X.
FYI, qudelix-5k back in stock...
Does this sound good with electric guitar rifts?
I'm surprised that you even need to ask. There's nothing better in this price range...
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thanks for replying i think im gonna order it my old TRN MT1 sound is boreding me
This or Blon Bl03 for over-all music. Need something that is not too bass heavy and scretchy trebles
Bl03 has smoother treble so go for that one.
Has anyone had issues with the nozzle holding their eartips? That is my only complaint with these, wish they had more of a lip to hold onto gips
CRA vs Zex vs Blon03 vs Quarks vs Tanya the $15-35 budget kings I guess
Better than ZEX and Quarks. As good as BL03 (depending on preference/fit). I haven't heard Tanya.
Why am I getting Dankpods vibes from this guy?
Hello. Is this an upgrade to the kz zs10 pros?
Yes and no. It depends on your preferences.
great review mate! got the cra also. i like how acoustic guitar sound in cra, very lively & satisfying for the ear!
any sibilance you encounter with your library while listening with cra?
Not for me but I had to find the right eartips to get the full sound without sibilance.
Maybe try tips with small bores, that helps bring down the treble a bit, matches my preferences more
@@magik97 I thought wide bores do that?
blone bl 03 or cca cra for instrument sapration and high notes and vocals ,, don't need bass.
CRA all the way for those things.
@@PrimeAudioReviews thanks brother is it harsh sounding , blon are not good in sound stage and clearity , resolution ,,, zex is good is it like zex ( i have heard cra is better in everything) i am in shock they launched it to take down their other expansive products
CRA will give you the clarity that you're looking for. Compared to the BL03 it sounds cleaner and has a larger soundstage.
are you telling me this is the one around 14 dollars to give the best experience listening to AOT s4 pt2 opening?
Does this have bt? Hybrid technology basically.
It does not have BT.
@ how is the bass? I am a bass lover. Does it have deep bass? The type booming your head
Already have a DQ6....does it make sense to get these?
If you like the idea of a lighter sound with more spacious midrange and slightly less bass, it's definitely worth it.
@@PrimeAudioReviews i was actually getting a used Tin T3 plus for 50 bucks...do you think it's better i get this and save instead?
@@rttle_snke8802 t3 plus is great. If you want a full bodied sound with warmth and punchy bass
How does this compared to CCZ coffee bean?
Much leaner, way less bass. Coffee bean is warmer and thicker but still has good technicalities. CRA is more spacious and lighter.
@@PrimeAudioReviews thank you for the response mr david much appreciated 😃.
How is this compared to blon -03
Cca cra -18$(1400 INR)
Blon 03 - 26$(2000 INR) in my region
BL03 is warmer and more musical. I would choose BL03 for my personal use although CRA has better technical performance.
Does enyone found an AutoEq for the CCA CRA?
Bla bla. ZEX PRO is trash. 🙃
@@josefthedreamer Do you actually even have it? I love mine.
@@josefthedreamer Lol
Same, they have this realistic sound in the mids that I really liked. Pianos sounds so good. With EQ ofcourse.
With my version of EQ not Crin's
Hi there, are they good for metal?
Yes, I'd say these are great for metal. The driver is nimble and fast.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Great, I'll keep in mind, cheers!
Does these iems better than blon bl 03...
Yes, unless you really need the extra bass.
@@PrimeAudioReviews which iem is best for English hip hop and heavy metal tracks..
@@razetw Awesome dude...Thanks a lot for your explanation..👍🏻👏
Hi sir cca c12 vs this which one is more in overall sounding etc etc. Ahh too much to said
I haven't tried the C12.
Is this still good in 2024?
Yes, but I haven't listened to it for so long so I'm not sure how it compares to recent releases.
They changed the tuning now it's way different sound. I still prefer original cra more than current release. Very unique fast decay driver with two way extension (subbass and upper treble) that no other $100 iem managed to replicate.
How come its more expensive on chinese online markets than the other countries? I mean its manufactured probably in China, right?
China has a lot of unofficial sellers that can charge whatever price they want.
What about the cra+
Mine sometimes have a hizzing sound, and find some song that my ear cannot stand the sound using this cca, like forever by justin bieber its hurts my ears.
Is this better than the KZ Zsn pro x?
It depends what flavour you like. CRA is leaner and detailed with more treble. ZSN Pro X is warmer, has more bass and smoother highs.
Which one do you think gives the most accurate footsteps of the enemy in the game, please help KZ ZES///KZ DQ6S///CCA CRA///KBEAR LARK///KBEAR KS2///KZ EDX PRO///KZ ZEX PRO///KZ ZSN PRO X
Tanchjim OLA. But it won't be enough to make you a great player LMAO. 🤣
@@PrimeAudioReviews :D It is important for me to know where the enemy is, so the clarity that gives the most accurate footsteps is not so important, just the right direction, which one do you think is in this order?
I already gave you the answer...OLA has the best imaging.

OK friend, CCA CRA will be best for footsteps.
how’s this compared the tin t2 plus ? Been looking to get this or the t2+
CRA is more dynamic and forward mids. T2+ is still nice but will depend on what sound signature you prefer.
@Fach Yutuob T2 Plus has better imaging and soundstage. CRA has better tonality imo.
Is it true that these were downgraded
I lost track of it all with the multiple kz stealth updates etc
