    good ole komatsu 575. my boss had one of these in wyoming alongside 3 475s leveling 90000 yds in no time, one of the coolest things i have ever seen

    Large dozer? Heck, this is the biggest and most powerful dozer on earth D575

    They both move one hell of an amount of material.. I enjoy operating both Cat & Komatsu..My Dad owns a road construction company & we have both as well as some International/Dresser TD 20's & 25's c's & g's & they are pretty darn good tractors too..Monsters like on this video though & D 10-11's are too big for jobs we do..I am not sure why I commented lol,just figured I would throw in my 2 cents :) Hope everyone is doing great!!

    @kylerw1 the 575 is a whole lot bigger dozer than the D11R. It pushes an extra 15yds of material 50,000 pounds heavier and nearly 300 more horsepower. Not a good comparison. The 11R is more comparable to the 475

  • @sthier24
    @sthier24 11 лет назад +1

    The 575 is a niche tractor. Not many sold. As I understand they have been discontinued. D11 is not designed to compete against this tractor. The D11 is less expensive, more versatile and more easily transportable

  • @yaomingdixshanghai6125
    @yaomingdixshanghai6125 11 лет назад +2

    I thinks D-11 is more expensive than that D-575. Yeah the D-575 is not easy to transport due to its huge size.

    nice to see that even a heavy equipment video site has its full share of haters.These are machines people have to run them ,they are only as good as the operator.A good operator can make any machine look good ,as a bad operator can make them look bad.

    • @noahpatterson6333
      @noahpatterson6333 6 лет назад

      f150bc you said a mouth full. you take a good operator he make them both look good.. you take a company that likes produce they will keep their equipment up good..

  • @TurboGSR96

    I have to laugh at the idiots that think a D11 will outpush this, put this blade on a D11 and it wont do jack shit this blade is almost TWICE the size of a D11 blade.

    ive operated D255 275 355 375 455 475 and D575A's they do have balls in ripping and they can push a lot as long you take care of em i dislike the high track dozers like the new CATs but i learnt on an D8G and D9Gs they were alot better than the high tracks

    I am by no means a Kajunksu fan, I have run one of these in shot rock, as much as I hate to say it, it will outpush two D11 Carrydozers, when it runs, the ones we had, you couldn't hardly keep and undercarriage under it, frame kept cracking, and you couldn't keep turbochargers on it, but when it ran it would push!!

  • @bradconway1
    @bradconway1 12 лет назад +1

    @TurboGSR96 The only problem with these were they only ran for 10 mins before breaking down. D11's always win on reliability,

    ACCO was not a machine that was in full production, just sort of an experimental dozer, for a spec job, built by an Italian contractor with lots of money. It is not in service today. The ACCO had twin CAT diesels for power. If a D12 is ever built by CAT, it would probably look like the ACCO.

    It maybe so 550Deere but this Komatsu can push 90 yards in a single pass.Komatsu also introduced their first 1,000hp bulldozer the D555A at Conexpo 81 in Houston.

  • @bperry1647

    @godackgudalach1 Many times a long push is needed when opening a new pit...the mines I worked would push out long the first shot then drill the next shot on an angle so they could cast most of the next shot...After the shot there would be 60 foot of highwall already cast out...

    What I dont understand about dozers is that when the blade is "full" all its doing is deposting spoil on each side of the blade, its not actually piling up spoil indefinitely in front of the blade

    A d11 will out last a 575 because its junk i should i work on everyday of my life before the company went broke bying parts for it if i can remember the d11 was 2 years old and still going the the 575 was a year old and junk out

  • @briancharles7295
    @briancharles7295 11 лет назад

    I would personaly say that a D11 would move more because it is faster than the komatsu and although the blade load may be less the quantity moved would be more at the end of the day

  • @dali366

    The ACCO is certainly a one off with CAT parts and would have been classed as a D12 had it gone in2 mass production (I believe the Kom575A can be classed as a D12). The Acco has 4 drive sprockets and is meatier enough to hold back an Kom575A ;) If the Acco was mass produced now (as an ACCOCAT) it would likely have a single,turbo charged engine delivering at least 1500+horsepower with high drive and 4 drive sprockets and a 25ft blade.The ACCO would give any modern grader a run for it's money!

    @GlobalMiningMachines The only difference is the D11R or T can push in E. Kentucky Rock...One job I worked on had 6 475 Komatsu's and they all started breaking down at 8k hours...A D11 is Just gettting broken in at these hours...finally Komatsu moved all big dozers out of E. Kentucky until they could figure out the problem...Even the Japenese Tech's stated the D11 were superior in this type of hard rock...

    D11 carry dozer isn't even in the same park as this bad boy, this thing would eat your D11's, as for ripping rock, we used one in 99/2000 and it was ripping ironstone that well we had to back off or risk tearing the entire ripper off the tractor!, They started with the old 455A's that while they were not the most reliable tractors at the time if you had a good one "look out"...
