i can say that after using blender for almost 3 years now, to me it is the best program. after trying programs like 3ds max and maya, i just find blender the most convenient one. unfortunately blender is not really utilized in the gaming industry so 3ds max and maya are basically always on top :) i love blender
Tip: the brain is a little viscous so when laying it on top of a tray like that the brain should squish down a bit as gravity pulls it down. :) (Don't ask me how I know)

For the "round cube" In the top left corner of blender, press edit and then preferences then in add-ons search for Add mesh: extra objects and check the box
