It's smart to do the front side first. Once that's ready you can use the car lift to remove the rock from the part towards the shed instead of having to lift it up the ladder each time.

Not really. He said the shed-bunker portion would be done top-down like the bunker itself, so there will be no winching rubble up in the shed. It's just feature creep.
Well all you have to do is look at the map and then watch which direction he walks once he gets down the steps. whether if it's smart or not he's doing the lift next. You see him walk from the shed and passed the pantry entrance before you see the part where he's digging.

There are a lot of plastics that are very robust, so I'm not that surprised XD
I use that type for the horses, the only ones that never break.
Horses have the idea of throwing buckets around, rolling on them and chewing on them, these buckets can handle it. 👌

Hey Colin, have you ever thought about putting all your inventions into a museum type place so people could come and look at your stuff for real? You could charge a nominal fee and donate it to charity (minus any costs of course). It would be great to see all your stuff for real

@@newchrisusa He did get permission for the tunnel. I think the plan he showed at the time did not have this extesion he is making now though.

Yeah its a myth that regular and often uploading is the best way to build a channel. Some of the best and most watched YT channels are upload months between a video. Quality over quantity.

You mentioning about the dirt on the plastic packaging gave me an idea. What if you send a small rock from the digging along with the t-shirt? That way people can be a more closer part of it.
Based on location in the tunnel that would be your driveway so I guess we'll see James Bond style car elevator first. Which is smart because you could use it to lift out all the material removed during the tunneling towards the bunker, surely faster than winching them out 1 at a time, albeit a longer way to haul them.
Could take a small machine down there that would get the job done quicker.

I remember back to the turbine fastened with duct tape, and the seam that failed and created a large burn on Colin's arm, and was like, who is this guy who is bonkers; He is a BRILLIANT engineer, so off the charts imaginative, and loved by everyone.

Definitely nice to see this project back in full swing. I think part of the appeal of this is that it's something we'd all love to have, but most of us can't for various reasons. Most of your other projects are great as well, but they tend to feel more "obtainable" as often as not. Though if I had to pick between a secret underground tunnel and that Warframe jumping rig, it'd be a hard choice.
I'm excited! I like the rougher videos that show some of the details. Exposing the water and electric and all gives folks a small idea of what a BIG tunnel project under a city must be like.
I gotta hand it to ya brother ur doing all the stuff ive only dreamed of love the channel.... And one day ill have a "workshop" or "Lab" like u have one day... Thanks for beeing awesome 😉 ❤

You live in a normal British estate/suburb house but you have a house, garage, two sheds, a bunker and last but not least a tunnel system that’s eventually going to link to an underground garage under your drive. You literally have the coolest “normal” house in the UK. I could only experience such a novel house addition if I was playing Minecraft. 😅

colin part of why I love the tunnel content so much is because I want to live underground and I want hidden rooms and passages and stuff. Idealy id live in a mountain and have an underground driveway shortcut through the mountain to the nearest town road avoiding any and all weather and cutting travel time immensely. also no deer.

I reckon the "car pit" would be first, as then you can bring in bigger material and tools to dig the tunnel to the bunker faster.

Good work Colin. Put a water tank in for the soakaway then at least you can jet wash the car or use it for a hydraulic lift like tower bridge used to.

iirc, the house would actually have to be sold as a bunker with a house attached. I think the reason was that the bunker wound up being worth more than the house.

I would love to see a pond on the bit of the driveway which is raised up BUT have a fountain in the pond which is run with a hose with extra reach. Then the garden lifts up and the fountain continues to run.
