The same in Canada. IRCC Minister Miller said that he prefers doers: construction (builders), trade, and health care workers. It is very hard for immigrants to get manager jobs due to language and cultural barriers.

The problem with an MSc Management is that its too damn vague. You don't really bring anything specific to the table when compared to someone whos specialized in analytics, or marketing or finance - but these too are kinda generic. Plus an MBA will be better than an MSc Management any day.

@ShredDynasty - Hello! With a background in education, some good options for further study in the UK could be master's programs in education, teaching, curriculum design, education leadership/management, or special education needs. Many programs do not require a directly relevant undergraduate degree, so you would likely qualify. Focus on programs that interest you and highlight your transferable skills

I appreciate the cold-harsh video. I have 3 years of experience in ad-tech, running search ads and planning to do a 2-yr MBA, preferably from LBS or Alliance business school, Manchester in UK. What do you suggest in my case?

Hi Rahul! With your experience, an MBA from LBS or Alliance would be an excellent move to advance your career. The education and brand name from a top UK school can open many doors. Just be sure to also focus on gaining international work experience during your studies.
