Great video Yash! I would also highly suggest proactively connecting with existing employees/managers and finding out about the roles. You may get lucky and get an internal referral too!
Even if there are Jobs, nobody wants to hire International students. That is a sad reality. The best thing one can do is Ubear eat for 2 years and earn as max as you can. That is all.
Well not really, People do want to hire international students you just need to show them your desire to learn and grow and Yes find the right company that endorses fresh talent I would suggest looking for startups. :)
It was a great insight, Yash. I have almost 10 years of experience in operations both in India as well as in abroad, and currently working in a managerial role. I will be coming to the UK for my MBA this September and would like to know whether my experience in India will count after my MBA. In addition to this, what will be my chances of landing a job there?
Hey, Congratulations on your offer. A decade of experience is indeed helpful, it can definitely boost up your chances of getting a job significantly. If you have experience within a company which is global then it will be very very helpful. Do get in touch to talk in detail if needed. Happy to help
like you said that we need to apply numerous of jobs but putting out the quality, so if we do so like that we would be not forwarding the cv with same cover letter and keywords for every job, so my ques is that how you keep up with updating your cover letter and cv for quality and at the same time applying for quantity of jobs while also studying or maybe a part time. quality and quantity don't go hand in hand imo
You can use tools like flowcv or novoresume it and use jobalytics and eztracker on chrome extension. Use all these softwares and once you get the hang of it. It will become easier. Feel free to reach out if you have anymore questions
Number of years does not matter. it is all about your learnings and what you take up. CS is booming but you need to follow the right strategies because the market is very competitive. Get in touch to discuss this in detail. topmate.io/dashboard/services/edit/basic-details?id=981947&type=1
Hey, thank you so much for sharing these valuable insights. Also, can you please tell me, what's the evaluation process in the Uni? I mean do exams take place? Or is it that all the evaluation is done by the dissertation we do and other sort of presentations n all? It would be really helpful if you could explain this. And what's the session? Is it Sept-Aug? Planning to apply for 2025 intake
Hello, It depends on the courses generally the evaluation happens through Group projects, exams, presentations and dissertations combined. Generally, a dissertation in worth 50% of all your marks and the rest 50 is divided among all other things. Yes, the session is from September to august.
Hey, I have been laid off so I am planning to do master's. I was working in IT earlier. So, is it worth it doing Masters in management from Liverpool University. As I have received an offer from Liverpool for September 2024 intake. Please share your inputs it will be really helpful for me to take a decision.
Hi, sorry to hear about your layoff but as they say more opportunities arise if one closes. Congratulations on your offer, I think the course is too broad and you will require to develop particular skills within the course, but your professional experience can definitely come in handy. I would like to discuss it more as I would need more information. But overall not a bad idea to consider. I hope it helped thank you and please do subscribe:)
Hey, is there’s any scope of Master in digital marketing and my counsellor said there’s a great job market of this profile and is university of surrey is nice, would I take jan intake do part time job available at that time? Please let me known it would be helpful
Hey Priya, indeed it's a good course but the job market over here in the UK is very competitive and difficult. Yes, there are jobs but it's difficult to get one. For the University of Surrey, it is decent. Do check the course module as Uni is quite mediocre. Part-time opportunities are always there you can find them in any intake. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other doubts. Thank you
@@notsodrunkindian101 Hi, I had a one more query is university of Kent is good? And can I purse Msc marketing from there? As I don’t want to go with consultant that’s why I want your opinion
well, the uni is just okay I would say, I would suggest you apply to other unis and check the course structure on each on of them and go for the one which aligns with what you want to learn and do. Happy to help
I've seen that there's a huge downturn for jobs related to software development and chances are slim to none to get a visa sponsored job even with the right criteria, is it true?
Well no, it's not true that the market is competitive and if you are not highly skilled in CS then the candidate is lacking effort it's not the market's fault. if you are willing to get one you can get one. I would highly suggest you to book a call to discuss this in detail because CS is a field which is highly in demand and you just need to be out there in the right way. I think I can help you with that. I will be looking forward to speaking with you
