Me - Why do I need to wear socks Antonio? Antonio - It builds up your shoulders & protects you from the elements. These lines have become your trademark & I’m always eager to hear you say them👌🏻
Thank you so much antonio. I have been watching your videos from last one year, and your videos changed my life. Your videos made me discover a new me. I am addicted to your videos. I watch 2 videos Daily of yours and i am addicted to them. Can't appreciate in words how much you inproved me❤❤❤ Love from India.
The folks at sartorial talks/Parisian-gentleman probably disagree with you about the button placement of the double breasted jacket. There are many professional (such as cifonelli) bespoke tailors that purposefully put the buttons in the v shape. If my observation is correct, I think the English style jackets are more along the lines of the y shape (like my two double breasted jackets are). This usually carries over into American style suits. Italians and French (again this is a amateur observation) are more friendly to the V-shape button pattern. I myself prefer the y-shape, but that’s because I’m part English/Scottish on my mother’s side. 😁
I've bought from them a few times. Their wool and cashmere sweaters (and polo shirts when they had them) are really good! I would avoid a fair bit of their other stuff though - quite cheap / poor quality in the ties / scarves / underwear I tried from them (I sent back some ties and scarves - they felt really cheap - and the underwear worked initially but was clearly not made to last and started coming apart at the seams after half a dozen washes. Have not tried their shirts or pants.

For blazers etc. I’ll go either way, but for suits and tuxedos I exclusively go double breasted. Always have. It suits my shape and my face, and gives the impression of a leader rather than a follower. Double Breasted > Single Breasted.
I've wanted to update my wardrobe with some more nice looking pieces, and it's nice to know that this company ships world wide, and me being from New Zealand this helps
@@RealMenRealStyle well I haven't started just yet I've only gotten jeans, like denim, Chino's, demi jacket but I might look at things like the turtleneck just trying to find companies that ship to New Zealand and that are not very expensive.
@@RealMenRealStyle I've always been a bit hesitant about updating my wardrobe that watching your vids and other videos have helped me and give me some insight on how to update my and what to get.
Nice. But the link won't take me to John Henrics USA site and won't let me pick the mainland USA as a shipping destination. Keeps insisting I'm in Puerto Rico when I'm on the other side of the continent. Very frustrating and doesn't inspire confidence that I'll ever get what I pay for. Too bad, I was ready to buy some clothes.
10:35. I'm not really sure what to say, because of the lighting and it's a wool tie vs that type shirt-- which I think the tie is awesome and different (relaxing).
Antonio, great video. Great points for this fall and winter. The double breasted sweater has a vent in the back. Lol. You broke the style rule by not cutting the "X".
They fit fairly true to size, certainly longer rather than shorter if anything (being a Scandanavian brand, rather than an Asian brand for example), but I am an average or slightly below height and they fit me fine. I take a Small in most things and take a Small with them too. As I've said elsewhere, I've bought from them a few times. Their wool and cashmere sweaters (and polo shirts when they had them) are really good! What 3 sports jackets would you recommend for a minimal wardrobe? Not sure if you have any articles discussing it thanks. A dark pair of jeans and dark pair of khakis are also in my cold weather wardrobe along with a floral dress shirt which I know they are usually for when its hot but this one is a darker shade keep up the good work!
Antonio sir, i am 16 year old from india, i am in very big confusion, should i grow my here for that "long hairstyle", my top hair are very long but side and back are growing or should i have a different haircut right now, what should i do, the hairstyle which is the most attractive to girls. Please suggest something, love from india❤❤❤✌
see I really do hate double breasted sweaters like this cuz I don't like double breasted notched lapel... but then sweaters are too casual for peaked lapels...
Yes, because it is, by standard, more formal than a SB jacket: the peaked lapels complement that. However, because this jacket is made from a knitted material, has no shoulder padding, features patch pockets etc., the 'more formal' peaked lapels may clash with the image the jacket is trying to send.
Wow. You have to be getting payed to tell men to carry a man purse. You say whatever you want but in the end it’s still a purse. Plus a turtle neck? If that’s “real men” then I guess I’m out.

I just found ur channel 5 mins ago.... i don't trust aman with no facial hair @ all. Its not manly.. might as well be a woman
Antonio, please remove a stitch from the back of your jacket's cut
Any sizing advise on those blazers? I think I need one!

Haha - well it's the truth!
The first jacket definitely has a vent...
Yeah, it does!
Finally a sponsor sending items in Europe too, thanks!!
Bought myself today a cashmere turtleneck. Rocking it already with double breasted navy blue hopsack, brass buttons, and wool trousers.
I like the pasely+green combination.
Thank you so much antonio.

Need a black turtleneck or "tactileneck"
I see you are a man of culture.
I had something for this
New season been good
Checked the comments for an Archer reference the second he mentioned turtle necks. I am not disappointed.
I do love a turtleneck occasionally. If it's good enough for Steve McQueen and James Bond, it's good enough for me!
Damn Antonio love your energy straight to the point
Thanks Prashant!

The face you made @1:52 lmao. That first jacket is incredible
And... Denim Jacket??😭😭❤️❤️
Thank you, Antonion.
Welcome!
Surely leaving the vent stitched closed on the double breasted jacket is a sartorial sin!
You really nailed the Paisley even better than some of my friends do 🙏🏼 Namaste from India
I can see myself wearing the sweater jacket.

i didnt know a knit blazer was even a thing. I love knits so i will definitely be picking one up
You can see a lot of Indian men wearing Paisley on Indian streets. That's really bold though.

That knit double breasted blew me away. Looks so good! I saw them last year, I think it's time to pull the trigger now.
Awesome video as usual! I still hate turtle necks though, it doesn't matter how nice the fabric is, my neck is still too sensitive.
Thanks

Just starting to be more interested in what I wear and it looks like I can find alot of inspiration here. Definetely subscribed.

Good looking stuff Antonio.
Antonio you forgot alpaca fiber for those who are allergic to Other types of wool.
Antonio, since you brought up the turtle neck...
What are other combinations to wear one too?
Perfect , i needed this ❤️
DB every time, I wore one when I met you in London and a black polo (turtle neck)!!

Neat company. Is the knit single breasted jacket double vent or no vent? I like the Navy best.
My double breasted is a peacoat
Turtle necks are so fantastic
I have corduroy trousers and a truckers jacket
Like the video but you did no metion Hoodies in your video they also used for traveling and cold weather
the title of the piece and key word here is "essential". hoodies are not essential and style wise, let's just say, you can always do better.
No love for the double breasted suit? I love them. I had one back in 1995 but it’s on my list to buy another.

@@beastjr7423 thank you so much for the advice, atleast someone commented😇😇
Can you explain the V and the Y in double brested jacket
I believe he meant V = 6x1 (6 buttons, only 1 can be closed) and Y = 6x2 (6 buttons, 2 can be closed).

Supposedly however it looks odd on the double-breasted unlike on the single-breasted where leaving the bottom button undone looks more natural.
