It's crazy how Michael got a pass for this album when Disco was seemingly on it's way out. The music was changing at this point and Mike delivered a classic adieu to an era perfectly blending Disco, Funk and R&B as a slap in the face to haters of those genres...
How is it crazy lol? Y'all be killing me
When music is this good, people forget about trends and genres.
@@leyaluvz589 It's crazy because other artists dedicated to the genre of Disco were being crucified for perpetuating that sound i.e. The Bee Gees. Yet Michael was able to glide right through all the confusion and not be criticized greatly for it.
Michael you are sorely missed. I thank you for your humanitarian and musical contributions to the world. You may be gone but never forgotten. May your beautiful soul rest in peace.
THIS BASS LINE IS FUCK GOOD MAN! LOUIS JOHNSON IS A MONSTER ! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Louis got a writing credit because, well, the song is written around that bass line.
Brothers Johnson... Super bad!

I love it when he laughed. He was really having a blast during the recording of the song.
One of best songs MJ ever wrote .
Probably only the most smooth criminally underrated song of all-time.
Such an underrated masterpiece
He had a beautiful singing voice!
