Sugar foots on bass brother
The production on this song is so crisp its nuts. The bass is so chunky, The horns sound so sharp, and full of color, and the drums are just so clean and clear. Every instrument just sounds so good. Really crazy for it’s time, it still sounds above average for today’s standards in my opinion. The playing is also so ripping. Vocals. Fuck. One of my fav mj songs.

( Michael Jackson ) is on his way to your shop, clear the store of all customers & LOCK THE DOORS after Michael comes in the door! A half hour later a painfully shy Michael walks in...I was so very nervous, yet his friendly & sincere attitude quickly put me at ease...So kind, so down to earth, beautiful big brown doe eyes, great smile. A day I will never forget. Was a joy doing business with him! Indeed a memorable day!!! RIP Child of God

Imagine releasing this album and then after this masterpiece, he managed to release the best selling album of all time. Thats pure talent and unbeatable imo.
Its really sad that Thriller puts people to sleep in this album, off the wall is his best work for sure.
I agree 100% all his other albums had some gimmick to go along with em. This one is just about the music and its fantastic.
