My son just bought a 97, the Duke was in my local Craigslist. It was out of our price range and not a good truck as a first vehicle for 16 year old. Nice to see someone who will appreciate it bought it. It's a gorgeous truck!!

Nice! My last new vehicle was a 95 F250 with the 7.3. Since then I've had another 95, 96, 3-99's and my latest is a '01 roll over wreck I put one of my 99 XL cabs on and converted it to the Lariat that the wreck was. I run 99's for my non-CDL hotshot rig.
Super clean OBS though, they're still the best looking generation. Hope you'll keep us posted with whatever injector you go with. Go ahead and put a set of 210 hybrids in with 100% nozzles, and a KC300 with a big hot side. Since hybrids don't require huge oil you could swap a healthy 17* pump on and have more than enough. Hell a 15* technically would feed em.
Whoever said "330 horse tune" when talking about a 7.3 is a goober. That started with the 6.4 trucks way back in the day when Spartan and a couple others started tuning them.

They're actually the original tow style mirrors, but mounted on the NON tow mirror brackets from the same year. lol.

At the truck pulls there are guys putting Bosch P pumps on a 7.3 power strokes and they will eat cummins trucks.
I love the 7.3. It's a dog, but that's not why I bought it, It's kind of my dream truck, lol.
