What a smooth success! I think there are going to be a lot of little baby crested geckos in the reptile room this year 🦎👀😅! Thanks so much for watching everybody! Hope you enjoyed today’s video! Don’t forget to answer today’s QUESTION OF THE DAY!
Amazing, never seen that before. Even though it is a little rough, it looks kinda cute in comparison to ducks, who are also some of my favourite creatures. Nona did so well
I have a baby crested gecko myself, and it is the most adorable little thing in the world. Not only that, but the colorations of the babies are just stunning.
Hi Dayyan, recently discovered your channel and really have enjoyed catching up on your videos. I've recently returned to keeping reptiles after a 10 year break and you've been such an inspiration. This video is such a great example of your commitment to the channel and producing quality video, really appreciate it. Looking forward to Tuesday.
Awesome video 👍 exciting times to come, Rambo sure is a stud muffin. The first time i caught my leopard geckos mating I was slightly horrified even tho I knew what happens, the courtship lasted quite awhile & I kept telling the male to stop being such a bully (as you do) it was fairly aggressive but the actual 'deed' was over less than 2 minutes lol, 2nd clutch due, love your channel, have been watching for a few years now, so glad you reached 100k, congrats from England 👏😍😀
Thank you so much! Haha yes he is! I know what you mean! It’s definitely a bit nerve wracking the first few times 😅! Thank you so much for your support and viewership over all these years!
I got a shout out on the video that had crestie fornication!? 😂🤷♀️ I hope they both lay fertile healthy eggs and I know im not the only one here excited to see DAH BABIES!💗
Hi Dayyan! I had a very bad, terrible, no good day. But I remembered that you would have an episode today. And it def was great! I can't wait to see what happens next!! It made me smile thinking of baby geckos. I hope you have a great weekend too friend!
I'm actually gonna be breeding my two next season, got a beautiful red base girl with nice whitewalls and a stunning pinstripe and dorsal pattern, and a quadstripe male that has an awesome black base. I'm so excited to see what their babies will look like!
It’s an exiting time of the year, eh? 😂😉 For a serious comment, have you thought about getting one of those home ultrasound tools for your smartphone? Could make it easier to check who is gravid.
I'm breeding my brown toads (such a generic name for a cool toad species) this summer. I have to create a bigger space, since I have five hidden away and I need a larger water feature if I want tadpoles/pollywogs from five toads. I'll have to invest in a big exoterra, probably. I want people to appreciate this species as a good pet. Also, to anyone that might ask, mine are not cane toads. They do look similar, but brown toads are not as bumpy and the poison glands are much bigger. They are actually way more toxic than a common cane toad. I wash my hands every time I handle mine and I don't agitate them enough to make them ooze that poison. They are very tolerant, except one... and he's a jerk. Also, the toxin is only significant if you get it in your eyes/mouth or on lips. It's easy not to, since it smells like someone peed on a rotten piece of fruit when they ooze. You'll want to wash your hands immediately. This species was native to the West Coast of the US, first. Now they are an invasive species in North Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Most websites won't show that they are not present in Florida, but people forget about ecology in North Florida all the time since we're not the everglades.
My main focus is breeding Lygodactylus williamsi but I’m starting to get into some other stuff this year. I’ve been getting mourning gecko eggs, and hoping for chameleon geckos, dart frogs, and reed frogs to start pretty soon. I have a young Strophurus ciliaris that I hope to pair up next year.
Just wanna say that Pingu it absolutely stunning (idk how to spell her name sry) and she is looking a little plump! Really hope she is carrying it would be amazing to have lily whit Cresties!
Hi! I have kept them before but I don’t currently own any! I think I’d personally choose to own a chahoua before I’d get a gargoyle. They are really beautiful but I like that chahouas are bigger :)
My cresties sadly are not old enough or big enough yet but I’m hopeful for next year! Videos like this definitely get me excited to start breeding my cresties
Sorry I’m babbling more than usual, this was very scientific! I noticed as well that the reptiles I’ve seen posturing in the mating season, all the males I’ve seen seem to jerk their heads, neat-o! Yea I’m nerd lol
I do not breed anything because i don't really have animals that would be able to. But i did get my exo terra for my future crested gecko😁 and as always keep up the good work.
Can a harlequin crested gecko go with a chocolate morph?? I'm planning on putting my two babies together, once the female gets old enough Would live an opinion on the pair. Both have portholes
Thank you so much. We do not breed any reptiles. We have 2 Bearded dragons but they are brother and sister. We have a leopard gecko. I plan on getting a crested gecko.
No breeding yet in 2021, but I hope at somepoint soon(ish) to breed my crestie and plains hognose snake. Awesome animals an neither are too difficult to breed it seems.
Give him a few days and make sure the females are well fed. I would suggest placing them in a screen enclosure together and ideally offer the female being mated something to eat and hold. They usually aren’t too aggressive to males but it’s an extra insurance 😅. At some point overnight they’ll mate usually. Try to also mate them again between oothecas for better yields each time. Good luck! (I used to work with a lot of mantids in University)
Hopefully i will have Great results in My Ornate Uromatics and Leopard geckos- And My Yellow Citrus Blue Bar Dragon with My Monster Red Dragon and See 👀 what i get 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Posted 3 hours ago?! Why am I only getting notice now?! Been waiting for this !!!! 😍 oooooo!! Chonky Pingu!!! Sooo exciting!!!!! Dropping tails while breeding?! I can’t imagine that being a regular occurrence in the wild? Or why would they be so vulnerable to tail loss if after they’re all done breeding they have nothing left to lose to a predator, know what I mean? Evolution would’ve come up with a different way no? Cause losing their tail is for defence, not to ensure a successful breeding, amiright? Me? Breeding projects? Nope! I leave that to you experts! The mating of cresties doesn’t look near as terrible as large monitors! Interesting vid buds, thanks! I honestly just found out a lot of lizards have hemis, my hubby asked me if hemipines meant that they had powerful naughty bits, like a Dodge Hemi engine... lol
I have a male crestie but he thinks I'm his lady. I finally have a second morning gecko so I'm expecting eggs eventually since my single never laid any. Otherwise I'm not into breeding.

Amazing, never seen that before. Even though it is a little rough, it looks kinda cute in comparison to ducks, who are also some of my favourite creatures. Nona did so well
Couldn’t agree more! Ducks are SAVAGES! Poor females
I have a baby crested gecko myself, and it is the most adorable little thing in the world. Not only that, but the colorations of the babies are just stunning.

Nona certainly seems more fond of Rambo! Just had a bunch of Jumping spiders hatch, so ridiculously tiny!
i personally am not very interested in geckos but its been exciting seeing your efforts to breed these beautiful animals.
Bravo, a successful joining - you go Nona!
I’m breeding my very first pair crested geckos this year and I’m stolked!
I got a shout out on the video that had crestie fornication!? 😂🤷♀️ I hope they both lay fertile healthy eggs and I know im not the only one here excited to see DAH BABIES!💗

Nona and Rambo are cuties 🤗
How do you typically go about selling the geckos that you breed? I would love to keep an eye out for the chance to have one of their babies!
I will love to have a reptile room tour
What are some signs Created geckos will show that would require you to remove them immediately and try again later?

Hey! Hello from Vancouver! I don't think I've seen anything about Gargoyle geckos on your channel, have you had them before?
Hi! I have kept them before but I don’t currently own any! I think I’d personally choose to own a chahoua before I’d get a gargoyle. They are really beautiful but I like that chahouas are bigger :)

Sure they can! That's really your choice and what traits you want to combine and what you think will compliment the others nicely!

This year, I have gotten some orange and dairy cow P. laevis and inadvertently gotten 2 sun beetle larvae that are just about to go into pupae
