Hatching season is in full force friends! Expect more and more babies as the summer passes! I hope you have a newly found appreciation for what I go through to get some of these shots haha. Thank you so much for watching!
i did put this in a different comment but i think it was deleted for having a link in it or something but i thought i should let you know that i was watching some other youtube video and this other channel used 2 clips of your sky puppy video congrats 😊 (they did put in the bottom left corner of the video what channels that the clips were from) the channel is called "4 Ever Green" and the video is called "12 extraordinary animals you didn't know existed" i will leave a separate comment after this one to the video i am on about so you can see for yourself if you wanted to (just in case this comment gets deleted for having a link)
I think you could have a side channel of just reptile hatchings - we all come running for these videos. Great footage and they are such beautiful babies!
Those are 2 very cute lil chubbers..pretty soon you are going to be surrounded by babies..but I bet you will lo v e it. Keep it up. You are doing fantastic stuff😄
This video makes me happy. Babies hatching are the best. I've hatched hognose snakes, and crested geckos. I do their set up like you did, i tend to add more moisture though since i live in a very dry place. They are adorable
Hey Dayan if I were to breed my reptile I would make sure my reptile felt as comfortable as possible with some foliage and cork in a little container as you do. And I’m getting two new cresties soon and I will be naming dayon after you because I have learned so much about reptiles all from you, so thank you for that. Ive also been wanting to grow different species of greens and was wondering what some good starter plants were to grow?
I use sphagnum moss as a substrate to keep humidity up. But I also hand feed. I don't breed so when I get a new baby gecko or if I'm rehabbing a gecko that came from a not so go home. All the new little babies are so cute!!! Great videos thanks!!!!
When I had leopard gecko hatchlings I made the hotspots less intense than that of the adults, as a smaller tank overheats quicker and holds less moisture
They act just like crested geckos when they are young like this. When I was breeding leopard and termite hill geckos, I put the young into smaller containers with paper towel substrate, a small moist area and the food bowl. There was also cork bark for climbing, usually just one curved piece.
Ahhh I just hatched my first 2 crested geckos ever and there so awesome but thank you for you’re tutorials and stuff and I love you’re channel ! Keep up the good work 💯
Hey Dayyan! Congratulations, I love the little chubsters! I don't own / breed any specialty pets yet, but I'm hoping to raise two T's from slings in the future. Planning on two Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens, so those enclosures are going to change as they grow to show off that webbing of course! Looking forward to what the hatching season brings for you this year! On another note: I reached out via your business email about potentially playing some D&D. Think you'd be interested in playing with a group of other specialty pet keepers? :)
I don't plan on breeding, however, I recently got a tiny Goniurosaurus hainanensis and I originally had him in a 10 gallon "naturalistic" enclosure, but just a few days ago I actually downsized him to a sterlite enclosure much like you use. It makes it far easier to monitor how much he eats and gives me a better overall idea of how he is growing and acclimating which is awesome, and just in those past few days of rehousing him I've seen him out at night which I haven't seen before then! Hopefully he grows up happy and healthy. :)
Thank you for sharing this awesome footage! Beautiful babies!!! I've started breeding my leopard gecko's. I work at a pet store. So I can make sure all my babies get good homes. I get to inform new owners about the animals needs. 👍
I really enjoy your videos thank you very much for taking the time to put very good info out there. I keep Bearded dragons. I have two currently a male and a female. If I ever do breed them the only way I would is if I had homes for all of the animals prior to letting them breathe. I use paper towel and ceramic tile as bedding for the dragons
how are the red eyed crock skinks doing?? also what are the best water and terra plants for a habitat for them. is there some plants that are easer on the skinks or to grow, or some that are more close to their original habitats? those Geckos are amazing!!! this was your latest vlog so i thought my questions might find you better.. i i have watched and re-watched your other builds and would love some more insight into those environments.
Hello I currently keep a male and female bearded dragons. I do want to breed them but will not due to lack of homes. I use paper towels and ceramic tile in the enclosures. I like your videos please continue
Do you / can you re use the vermiculite after eggs have hatched ? Loving the videos as I cannot keep anything at the moment so it makes it feel like I am there with your amazing reptea family so thank you
Great video what size container is that that you’re using for the baby ? Also I just wanted to drill holes in a container and not have the mesh on there so how many holes should I be putting a double roll on the side and how many on the top Thank you
How often can you get a clutch of eggs per year do lizards only lay once per year or can they have multiple if given the right conditions and nutrients?
Would you ever consider making a in depth “step by step” breeding book or something? I’d totally buy it. I want to start breeding myself just don’t know exactly where to start.
I want to breed my cresties but i have a question when you moist the substrate where the eggs are laying do you have to take out the eggs so they dont get wet?
I have a question not about the video but I just want to know, what time do you usually feed your crusted geckos I just wanna know because I'm not pretty girl really sure on what time I'm supposed to feed my new crested gecko
I don’t think it matters too much for diet as it’s okay to sit for 12 hours or so in my opinion. Realistically though, they won’t go eat it until dusk.
Crested geckos are rly nice because, they don’t eat live food and there care requirements are easier in my opinion, I think crested geckos are rly good for beginners just always do your research first though
I hand feed my crested gecko babies. I'm a new breeder so I don't have everything figured out yet but for some reason the babies just won't eat by themselves. Maybe if I left them alone for like a week they would but I'm too scared they'll starve to death instead to do this. After a certain age (1 month?) they just start eating. I'm super confused about this tbh because afaik other breeders don't have this problem, they just give their babies food and they eat it? Idk I don't really understand this. Anyways this is the main thing I do differently with babies. Kinda hate it LMFAO
@@Reptiliatus unfortunately I know for a fact they don't eat. I had to leave them in my brother's care for 4 days once. He gave them food but didn't hand feed them. When I came home there was no poop in their enclosure and one of the geckos was barely alive and died the next day. His sibling survived but I'm pretty sure he was just naturally hardier.
I just found a baby Mediterranean house gecko like not more than a week old and I just want to make sure I'm giving her the best life her name is Lilith I got her a 20 gallon tall octagon she has a water dripping leaf thing a water bowl a cock log with holes a hammock and a UV light and heat bulb and on bottom eco earth coconut fiber substrate and giving her small crickets with calcium with VIT.D3 and flightless fruit flies and misting few times a day what else should I do?
The breeders of some reptiles are just as much a crook as a dentist. Like the new Caledonian giant gecko, huge rip off. Bearded dragon breeders are no Angels either considering how many eggs they bang out.

So adorable! Love these geckos. Also: “Be free!” * puts lid on the enclosure 😂
I heard the froggies chirpping, protesting!!!! For the next Froggy Vid!!
I don't know whom is more giddy here, you or me, but I'm all geeked out over your new hatchling!!!!

Awesome content, the babies have beautiful markings 👍❤🦎😁
Some things I would consider is the temporary enclosure and he food and checkups for later
They are sooo pretty and totally alert right outta the egg! So cool
Thank you so much!
I love gargoyls, leachies, and crested geckos. Their so chill. Got any blood pythonsand turtles??

@@kaehume4742 crested geckos
How do you go about selling your animals? Do you have a website or do you post adds on Kijiji or another classified?
Was that frogs calling in the background?
So cute! I am hoping to get my first reptile soon. Any recommendations?
Thanks! Crested geckos make great first pet reptiles 😊!
I know its a old video but what age should i put him in a tank mine 7 months old and still a little guy
July 9th thats my nieces 🎂🥳 she's a few years older though lol
I want to breed my cresties but i have a question when you moist the substrate where the eggs are laying do you have to take out the eggs so they dont get wet?
No, you pour water on the substrate avoiding eggs and it soaks it through
Is there a waiting list for them?
Is that just normal water in their bowls?
I love the patterns they get
Me too! Can’t wait to see these ones develop!
There all so cute ❤️
Agreed! 😊
me and my little brother just got into breeding crested gecko's and we already have 6 eggs and 2 of them should hatch any time from now!

Babies need a smaller space to grow up in Beautiful babies
What temperature do you incubate the eggs?
Between 72-78f 😊
Thanks. What I thought was a male has laid an egg and it appears to be viable. 😳 Turns out my Eddy is an Edwina…
Can you please make a update
Has Nona laid eggs yet?
Yes!
maslallah very nice

Looks like he first Lechianis gecko that hatched was checking on there sibling
Haha yes

Give them some time. Also keep in mind that sometimes we give too much food and then it’s not noticeable if they ate or not.
