Love the side exhaust. Wish the video was longer with more detail. Why a 250 though? Everything in the axles and brakes is more expensive than a 150. I guess if you tow alot you need one. Did you have to do a engine swap or did you just take the existing one out to do work on it?
No reason for the 250, I bought it with no engine. Put in a TBI 318 but it was pretty tired. So I freshened up a 5.9 magnum and tossed in a 46rh for overdrive. I just like to buy vehicles that have been left unfinished and put them back on the road. I have a w150 to do soon here.
Great heavy duty older trucks !!! Have an '86 360 4 speed W250 that I'll re-body soon !
Amazing how many of the old 3/4 ton dodges were automatic transmission. The 4spd (grandma gear) manual is the best truck transmission ever created.
I’m surprised too, but the 727 was a pretty good auto also. Just not as capable as the np435
@@moparmuscle123 727s never die. My 89 ramcharger took so much abuse
Nice 👍 favorite years 85-90
Looks good you guys! Nice work!
Nice truck, I’m getting ready to buy one in a couple of weeks.

The Wheels on your truck are immaculate. What style are these Black wheels?
Thanks, these are 22x12 xf off-road xf216 wheels with 33x12.5s
This is similar to my 88 W250 360 4spd. What state are you in?
Up in Saskatchewan, Canada
Gasser or diesel swap?
Just a newer 5.2 swap for now. I plan to put a hemi in it next, just debating about keeping the 727 or swapping a full drivetrain from a newer truck.
mopar!
