Damn the timing of this video is perfect. My ex just texted me that she misses me and misses us because we have kids together. She also said she wish she’d fought harder for our marriage, but unfortunately she didn’t and instead she cheated on me with another marriage man who’s she’s still in a rebound relationship with. I have a mixture of emotions because there’s a part of me that wants her back but an even bigger parts that doesn’t. I feel like the trust we had Is broken and some part of me is bitter.
I understand the pain and bitterness you are feeling but remember, when someone is unfaithful it has nothing to do with you but only with them. If you love her and you have kids together you will always be connected. Many women (and men) have to experience the “greener grass” before they are able to fully commit forever. I’d give her a chance.

Yep, my ex contacts me just to check on me, and he even drives to an area that has reception, since he is spending time with one of his high school friends out in the middle of BFE. We are long distance, but the entire time he is here, he spends quality time with me. He goes out of his way to talk to me and to help me financially too. Even if we never do become romantic again, I am enjoying the connection. I have been reading a book about attachment styles and just working on myself, while he is not here. I watched your video on midlife crisis, and I would really like to see more videos on that. My ex will be 55 next month, and I am 45. Midlife is a very difficult time indeed.

She sits like two tables away and ignores me. Then she started smiling, warm hellos before I even say anything... so taking that as a sign I went over said hi, I’d want to see you happy with or without me, and I’m sad we’re not together anymore but wish me can be friendly at least, we live in a small town , surf the same beaches. So this week after the talk, and her freaking, again back at my coffee shop, sits a few tables away pretending to be busy on her phone, some girls I know came over to me “ richard you legend how are you, we want you to be on our podcast” and made a big fuss ( I’m a likeable guy) you could see her go red with jealousy... then she talked to this guy, huge ridiculous laughs, looked at me to see if I was looking, gauge my reaction, laughs again, touches his knee, again looks to see if I’m looking.
LAst 3 days, sits two tables away ignores me.

It sounds like your ex may be at the test drive phase as well. She is still guarding herself and trying to sort things out emotionally and get the feel of the dynamics. It may be a slow process but you have to work on your Advanced Relational Skills.

Me and my ex still talks and we work at the same place.. And she was really hot and cold.. And I was in damage control mode for one month.. And push her away more.. So I think I messed up my chance to get her back. So I’m just going to step back and get myself together.. And Hopefully she would opening up to me.
Bro I went through the same thing and one thing that I learned is that when u step back don’t do it for her to notice and hopefully come back to u but do it to be a better version of urself. Three months ago he ended the relationship. He was a very honest and open guy. Last time we called he said that he is not looking for a relationship and that we shouldn't be in contact for a while. Its been two months now and he hasnt shown any signs of any sort. I think I'm in a good place emotionally and in my single life but I keep on wondering if I should reach out and see if there is still a chance. My ex girl does all this, but she also claims to be in a new relationship. We don't have kids together, but I'm close to hers and we do things togrther. She just seems a little different now we are 6 weeks past our breakup. I did kind of begin to pull away a little but feel I keep getting reeled back in either by her or the kids.

This is exactly what’s happening with my ex, every single reason you gave at the moment, but he won’t take that step and it’s so frustrating! Then he pulls away at times. I can’t raise the subject of getting back together because he claims he “can’t” be in a relationship and will stick with that reasoning. He’s a sole parent and has fulltime care of his children. We tried to blend the families for two years before we broke up, then he basically said it was too much to do it all even though he’d managed to for the two years…..

I'm finally in a position where I'm moving on, however last week was my birthday, and the next day she decides to go into college and walk into my dad's classroom and spend an hour with him, while also regularly checking my Insta using her second account. I feel like I'm the one torn because I still care for her, but I needed to move on from the relationship. If she wants me back, should I be doing anything in response?
First ask yourself if you really want her back. If you do, maybe ask her to meet up for coffee. If she says no just say, “that’s okay, let me know if you change your mind” then go back to no contact.

Clay I could really use some help I’m in a really hard spot me and my ex were starting to reconnect we had a really good emotional conversation and then a few dry ones and then all of a sudden she told me she doesn’t want to be friends anymore because it feels forced because I want to be friends and she doesn’t want to anymore idk what happened things seems good and I just hit a wall and I’m not sure what stage I am at or if I can even work to fix this

Hey Darksoninc, it sounds like you may still be at the attachment phase while she may be at the test drive phase. It is best to apply active no contact and start working on the Advanced Relational Skills, just like how we teach our members inside the Ex Solution Program.
Hmm. What about moving all their stuff back into the house and giving you a ton of stuff and having a lot of contact over a few weeks including being upset when you don’t answer right away - and then again disappearing for a month?

What if he is seeing some else. He's not in a rebound relationship but told me he has not been a great boyfriend. He told me he's attracted to but thinks it's more sexually but we haven't been sexually over 1 yr. Yet l work for him and keep my distance but we talk. How do l approach this situation. Hi Grace, that can be tricky. But when he is seeing someone, it may be that he opens himself to the possibility of knowing other people. The best thing that you can do is to apply the Decoy Strategy that we talk about inside the Ex Solution Program so you'd stand out among the other women that he is seeing with.

Hey clay, it's been 3 n half months since he broke up our 8 years relationship and was LDR from 2 years. I went through active no contact for 2 n half months and reached out with good reminder text, he replied instantly and after few text exchanges I ended the conversation, he said if there is anything, reach out to me, am here. I texted him after 20 days with text conversation, asking for favour. He replied to my text, but he doesn't reply to certain questions which involves about him in anyways. Hey there, gaining someone's trust may take some time and consistency. It's something that we cannot demand from them. But we have to be mindful of your ex's needs and respect whatever wishes she has, instead of pushing for something that she is not yet comfortable doing.
