I have learned absolutley nothing after watching this
😂😂😂same
I’ve learned that we have belt systems but I also learned of an expensive and completely inefficient method of dropping of harvested goods. Lol.
NGL, I've been playing since FS13, and the whole belt system "cheat" has never really made since EXCEPT for certain silos & crop types. Even then, I'd rather pay for a trailer or two.
smart man
Thanks, now I have 700 belts carrying cheapest thing in the game.
Just remember kids. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.
Think Harder not Smarter
When the bloody things work yeah 😂
It's so much easier and cheaper to do it the normal way. Hell, it's even cheaper and easier to have helpers doing the entire thing
so much easier to just use ai worker on the combine and then run the grain cart on ur own
Seems like a lot of extra work but could be a short cut if done right
I used this system in fs19 and it was actually really useful in late game, as the helper was to dumb to do anything. Delivery by belt is expensive to set up but cheap to keep running making it a good option for medium distances over a long period of time.
In FS22 the helper is still dumb af but can deliver stuff to other places (if you use a medium sized trailer), making this belt systems obsolete.
It’s more expensive to keep running, and isn’t as reliable tho.
I use this for forestry and boi it does the job
@@adelarof5288same I use it to store wood chips in containers and sell it
@@adelarof5288wait can you put logs on them?
I tried to do this with a stone/dirt mine I was doing. But the belts like to slowly move on their own, breaking the chain, wasting way more time trying to line them back up than it would’ve taken to just haul it up the quarry
I used to play farming simulator a lot in 2017 and this game looks so different it’s crazy
Its also a not super demanding game i play it on a laptop with 2018 tech on high without lagging
I've been playing since 2013 and it's amazing how much it's changed, yet is so very consistent at the same time. 17 was a great one. I'm enjoying 22 a lot (just started playing it finally just in time for the 25 trailer to drop lol).
This is how you play when your bored and want to extend how long it will take to harvest a field with all that presetup work required to offload the grain. May as well use a small combine and extremely small trailer or even better do root crops.
Me who uses meridian silos 🗿
Watching these types of players gives me brain damage.
Homie hearted it anyway, lordy🤣
They took time out of their day to comment. Good or bad, I appreciate that
Might as well give up on your “RUclips career” now lol
Thats genius as I've got a grain depo next to my grain field so that be perfect
Or just unload it straight out of the harvester into the grate in the ground
It can be a tight fit in that particular place, but there are others where that makes much more sense
@@TomLewisGaming you know nothing about farming
@@jonh550the passive aggressive heart got me
@@TomLewisGaming don’t get the wrong idea here pal you are still forever going to be the stone collector
I’m ok with that
Lol keep grinding brother
Thank you for this reminder. Although they can be a pain to operate correctly, this reminded me that I have a couple tight unloading zones for hay and crop that generally require having to reverse to the unload/dump point but with a couple belt systems in place, I can just swing through providing a more efficient work flow.
Useful tip but only really for on a budget also you can dump straight in the silo from the auger of the harvester
Been doing that since they were introduced years ago😅
Get the silo that you can buy anything from at a discounted price, and a sell everything point. Put them side by side with a belt between them. the money keeps going up.
This channel is handy for very new players to fs22
Spectacular visuals!
that’d be a lot of money to think of it tho if it’s a really long place from the field cause i have farming sim myself and with money you need a lot the equipment
I found belts useful for cutting sugarbeets: unload next to a belt system that lifts the beets high above the sugar factory, place a front loader sugar beet cutter underneath, turn off automatic engine start, start the belts, start the cutter and let it do its thing. Quick and easy.
Smart!
That’s the most extra thing ever, if anything if you have a gold mining map specifically Yukon valley there is a coal mine that you can line up all the way in the cave to extract the coal if you don’t have a dozer small enough to get in the cave
nek minute 50 belt systems to the field
Who the hell has asked you about driving a combine all the way to the silo?
I use belts for stone mining. Way better than bucket loading
I thought this was another boring video but that ending made it happen
Yeah I'm not building miles of belt systems. Big grain trailers work just fine.
The only thing I've found useful for belts is to fill a trailer with silage from the bunker silo next to where I'm using a wheel loader and silage fork to refill the biogas plant so I can move the trailer of silage to another biogas plant, dairy cow barn with feeding robot, or another silo because I need one emptied for the next harvest of grass to turn into silage.
Sounds like you have a good system. Their use is pretty limited as most jobs can be done with a front loader and trailer easy enough
Or just take the harvester to the silo….. 🤦♂️
I always did that with the mine on Silverrun. Built a sell point then had belts running to it for a constant income
This can be effective at a bga, from the silage pit to the bunker, but I don't see this as a win at a field.😂
19 has this too. I had a mod map involving materials mining (such as salt and such and I had strings of conveyors that across the mine to one central conveyor where a truck (courseplay) would deliver it to my silo at the base of the mountain and an on-road truck would go and sell it. The only issue was these belts love to move around over time and I found myself readjusting my belts every half hour because it was missing the truck or another conveyor.
That sounds like a right chore lol
@TomLewisGaming Eventually it just got to the point where I was spending nearly all of my time fixing the belts and none of the time dozing the salt over to them or actually farming on the 200 acres I had purchased at the base of the mountain. I ended up retreating back to my main save, which currently has like 800 hours on it 😅
@dozerfarms that’s commitment 😂
Those are so hard to getting those working
I’m done with internet for the day😅
I’m going to buy so many that they go all the way from the field to the drop off now
Did you know you can put a bunch of poop bags around your dog and your dog will poop on the grass
setting that up would take to much time and frustration
Yeah exactly the same as other farm sim generations before it, it’s slow and costs loads to buy all the belts
Bro you waste mor money on the belt systems than you get from harvesting😂😂
😅
I once had the bright idea of towing a grain cart w/ the combine while harvesting in FS19 and it all went well until I remembered the auger has to be out for it to do anything.
In real life it doesn't. Which sucks.
@@clintonknight9798 hell that would be kinda useful for if for some reason your auger wasn’t significantly longer than your header
By the time you line up all those slow ass belts you would be done by then
Did you know that GrayStillPlays literally done this 4 years ago in FS19?
I did not, but knowing GSP is good at what they do, I’m not surprised!
Why he kinda sounds like Bane at the end 😂
U ironically thats how its done in real life
I mean, you still have to use a harvester… to Harvest in the first place. Wtf lol
Still a harvester involved
Getting a trailer for 15k ❌
Getting 1900 belts for 1m ✅
thats easily the most counterproductive thing ive ever seen
I love how many people in this comments think he's being serious. Calm tf down yall.
I appreciate you
Well in farm sim 23 we can't even store all the crops. Plus we don't even have one belt system
That is less than ideal
After $100000 and 4 hours later
To anyone who sees this God bless 😊
U can do that in farming Sims 19
Yeah, belts can be great. For some situations... Silos/Biogas plant setup, for instance. However, and it took me an annoying amount of time to notice this: It leads to silage losses! I noticed that I do not quite get the amount of fermented grass from my silos to my biogas plant that I put in. (Eventually...) So, I Googled, and people say that is a thing... So, I bought a Maus. And, while the process is now slightly more cumbersome, it does seem not to incur the belt penalty for silage transfer. Oh, and "automating" sugar beet shredding for the sugar factory. Another good use for belts.
Fantastic info, thanks for sharing!
I once discovered a thing that was able to do the same thing for much cheaper
What was that?
Graystillplaus did this awhile ago😂
Gray has done everything 😭 I’m just riding the coat-tails
Or drive right up to it and deposit
I use to do this for sailege
I did that for all my fields once
I imagine that took all of time
It’s called BEING LAZY
I feel seen
Why don't they just attach a giant hose to the harvester that feeds directly into the silo?
this looks expensive 😅
I just got farm sim 22 can you do a beginners guide for Xbox?
I don’t have an Xbox, so any guide I tried to make would be jank, but I can recommend Eclipse Gaming’s guide here: ruclips.net/video/PL16_ntYcdg/видео.htmlsi=SEIFuK9eOjPulmQw
Did you know ? It’s also possible in FS19
Yeah but it would take forever to get enough money to be able to buy all the belts just to do this. So you do need a trailer to start off with😂😅
The belt systems start to get real unreliable after you put about 4 together
I love how you drive them like a vehicle. You case to exist while you position it, then you pop back once it’s in place 😂
Does anyone have a link to a good tutorial video on conveyor belts, I’ve tried messing with them before to very little success
This one by Moose2006LP seems pretty decent:
ruclips.net/video/4OC6Tw6mb2o/видео.html
200hrs later u finished it and now my farm
1hr later -done
Now this other one 200yrs later fished that now farm one day later💀💀
It could be useful if you had belt loader all the way by the field lol
*graystillplays flashbacks ensue*
wow this is weird idea
Ya just gotta spend $5 million to get this setup, all to transport the cheapest crap in the game 😂😂
This is the official Let's Game It Out recommended way to play every game. Screw the intended way, use unnecessary and expensive conveyor belts
If my rig could do what theirs does, it’s all I’d do 😂
I hope lets game it out doesn’t see this
Its easier to drive up with a trailer and let the AI keep going... Duhhhj
Yes
Did you know that they dont use conveyer belts in real life?
It works, but you spend all your money on 500 belt systems 💀
💯
Are there forage boxes in farm sim?
Unfortunately not
But a trailer is designed for dumping in a grain silo 🙄
I’m good I’ll just use my trailers
Erstmal 1milion in Förderbänder investieren um 20km Förderband zu bauen anstatt für 20-30k für einen Anhänger 😂
Perfect loop
so ur saying i should have belts running all around my map to sell stuff?
lol no. It was just to point out that if you’re working solo and don’t have a tractor trailer collecting your grain then you could use belts to deposit into silos that are too small for a combine to get into.
You can always just offload into a static trailer and drive it, but this might be more efficient in certain situations
Yeah but they can take hours to set up properly
The sheer amount of people that fail to understand the comedy behind this is unbelievable.
They’re all cut from the same cloth
@TomLewisGaming Oh no! I lost my heart because I edited "sheet" to "sheer" lol.
Oh well, the point still stands lol. Great video! I had a good laugh
The wagon is much cheaper
WRONG AGAIN YOU NEED THE HARVESTER TO GET THE CROP IN ORDER TO DEPOSIT/SELL THE CROP
Who uses a combine to sell grain
I’ve been known to if I didn’t have a tractor / trailer handy, but then I am incredibly lazy
17 is a billion times better then 22, I regret "upgrading"..
I preferred 19 tbh, but the graphics are an improvement
How do you hold it is falling out for me
The grain is falling out? Where from?
Who in world of FS does this ?😅😅
😂😂😂
Noooooo
😅
Nah bro 😂😂
No no no. No bro
