Love it! Working on a cardboard table/desk, its my first try, so far so good. Repurposing materials has become my thing. I enjoy making things with my hands. Enjoyed your video ❤️🙏
I tried to make a small cardboard racing track for my son using colored glue sticks , it was hard to get cardboard pieces glued together with the hot glue , besides , the bond isn't strong , the cardboard racing track went apart within 48 hours
potetoe Thank you, I’m glad this video was helpful. That is awesome that you are inspired to make a cardboard creation. Might want to check out Creative Mom on RUclips. She makes some pretty amazing structures with hot glue and cardboard.
Thanks for the question.. The yellow one is a model XL- 0030 I picked up on Amazon. The blue one was a Dremel that I bought on a closeout deal. I now have a Ryobi cordless that runs on a battery and it works great too.
Hello! Can i ask, so i’ve been making my first cardboard creation. The hot glue gun got a little messy? Is there a way to remove them from the cardboards without destroying the cardboard? For now i’m like 80% done but it just really seem too messy because of the glues
Thanks for your question. I’m glad you’re giving it a try. Yes, remove the glue from the gun and use the hot tip to re-melt the glue and scrape it off the surface you want to remove it from.
Hi Mark, My name is Cathy I collect cardboard too. I make napkin holders out of cardboard I would like to show you some of my napkin holders. I use Elmers glue gun.

Oh my, sounds like an issue with the glue or glue temperature. I hope you don’t give up, keep experimenting.
I found this video very helpful. Thank you for making it & sharing Mark! Starting my first cardboard creations today!

Glue gun or Elmer cheal glue for just cardboard craft?
Thanks for your question. Either glue will work. A hot glue gun is just faster.
