First ride I rode today and the last. Very cool and super smooth compared to the others but to be fair it is the newest
I love it. It was my first time going this June and I rode it 3 times lol
I like how all the thrillseekers are describing this ride to be angelic, smooth and “makes it feel like you’re flying”, whilst most of those things are true you are also being whipped around at crazy speeds almost flying out of your seat, don’t forget to mention that first drop and the first inversion after that is absolutely nuts, you lot really don’t give this ride enough credit 😂😂😂

@NotPennysBoat There is a version that has a 40' higher first drop in Ohio. It's pretty tame too.

The first time I went on this it was nice and smooth but the second time which was yesterday it was rlly jittery and I blacked out lol I’m gonna go on it again tho
the way people are getting on your ass over enjoying a ride is sad af in my opinion
I love this ride but it loses on intensity to all the other coasters on the park. I believe this is due to its super comfortable restraints and long, slow inversions- however these things make the ride great in ways other than intensity. From start to finish the theming is immersive and breathtaking, near misses enhance the experience and you really feel like you’re flying. As well as this, it is buttery smooth.

Ayo that is actually a perfect summary, for me it's not all about intensity so Swarm really delivers for me because of its wide range of attributes that are all done perfectly!!

went on it yesterday. I was screaming like I was in labour lmao. it was my first rollercoaster. but it was so exhilarating I ended up going again

this ride was amazing and the theming was awesome, it's a bit too smooth of a ride to live up to the hype but it was still an awesome and fun experience. I'll never forget that feeling of when we first dropped and you feel like you're flying
This ride is where it’s at. The billboard with a hole in it saying “Don’t lose your head” is a touch of class, not that you see much of it at the speed you go through it at, compared to a larger prop such as the plane (which is a real jetliner).
I love this ride to bits and it’s my 3rd favourite in the UK (from what I’ve ridden). The ride looks so cool and is the perfect combination of intensity and smoothness. The theming is world class and this coaster is so underrated.
Don't let this ride fool you. It gives you the impression that it's nice, floating throw the air etc. It's A LOT faster than it looks in the video. That first drop really makes you gasp for air. Such an epic ride

Went on this today for the first ever time I'm 46 and enjoyed it so much will defo go again this year. Everything about it, the set the actual ride and what it looks like so incredible breathtaking

yesterday i went on my first ever looped rides at thorpe park, this one didnt hurt and felt very secure i loved it but colossus was my fav
couldnt breathe but i loved the near misses. i got to go on twice because it was at 9pm for a special event thing (wouldntve gone otherwise) and it made me feel a bit sick but not nearly as bad as saw
went on this 10 times in one day! really got lucky with the sunny weather and barely any queues. I think it was because it was forecasted to rain so a lot of people cancelled at the last minute. It was sunny all day!

I absolutely love the swarm- it was my first Thorpe Park ride (along with many other people, because it’s decently close to the entrance.) It’s a great coaster to start with if it’s your first time at Thorpe Park, because while it does have its moments of intensity (like when you go under the billboards) it is also pretty smooth and it isn’t too bumpy from what I can remember.
This is one of my favourite coasters. Its jusr so smooth it's like flying. And the beginning drop is fun too. Its just the ride length is a little too short.
Not to mention this ride got a band to peak at number 23 on the charts with a rock song which stayed on the charts for 5 weeks
I remember seeing someone's glasses fall in slow mo at the very first inversion. The best thing was the fact someone caught it at the perfect time

I really like this ride! Mainly because i dont like rides that are super fast but it really was fun even for someone who hates rollercoasters 😅

I can happily say that yesterday I was able to get over my fear of heights and go on the stealth and swarm even though I was screaming and holding my friends hand I managed to do it 😂

Such a great ride and so smooth . Never realised it went right so much 😆, only 2 left turns at the end 🤨.

Finally went on Swarm. Its not that intense and its short but you get the sensation as if you're actually gliding. Its quite a decent ride but those after the intensity of other rides will be let down
Love it! Though I much prefer the Right Side when I go on this!

I'm a shark cabin as we speak, loved this, good option if you want a slow start! Not so much if you struggle with inversions though!
Same here, just in shake cabins and swarm was my first ever coaster. Brilliant start and great fun. In my opinion more enjoyable than colossus which game me a headache
For me and my cousin (I’m 11 and the others and 12 and 13 )going on this at the top seeing how high it was we was regretting our decision but when we were going down we was having fun and this was my first roller coaster so this was very fun

Hey, sorry, but I have never been on a rife that has inversions or big drops. Fo you think this is a good first. Also is there a chance you can like not sit on the wings. Im just a little scared of inversions. Just to give you a backround I've only been on about 5 rollercoasters. Scoprpions express (doesnt rlly count), tiger rock (barely a rollercoaster), dragons fury, tidal wave and the walking dead

Just been today, first trip to Thorpe since 2001 when it was still the 'water park'. Out of all the proper coasters this was my favourite, saw 2nd
i went on this ride like 3 weeks ago and it was so smooth but it wasnt my favourite . my favourite was saw since it was intense
I dont think ive ever tucked in my legs as much as i did going near the sign and building props
I really wish I didn't bottle it. The ride looks so fun and intense, definetly my kind of ride.

Yeah, 5, or 4 boring inversions, & then the brake run, which kills the whole ride's pacing. I don't know if the inclined loop counts as an inversion

I was terrrifed of rollercoasters and this was the first big ride I went on and I loved it it’s super smooth and not too fast
I’m going there tomorrow I’m nervous
I’m going tomorrow and all of my friends REALLY want to do this ride, I’m always scared until I start and usually have to ease into it, but they want to start with this one. I’m really scared. Anyone got any tips on how to calm the nerves??

It may seem scary, but it’s quite graceful in its movements, and definitely the best one to ride first ☺️

I have a bad back and I find this ride perfect for me! I like rollercoasters but can't go on intense ones. I cannot ride colossus anymore as it's way to uncomfortable and too fast for my back but the swarm is great!

Very tame ride loses a lot of speed early on
The theme for The Swarm is the best part, the ride is enjoyable but you don't really fell the inversions at all as fell like Stealth straight line. If was like Colossus or Nemisis Inferno even Saw I reckon Swarm would be up there with them. Still gets crazy waiting times on Monday Swarm hit 180 mins then had a fault then fixed 20 mins and time was 45 mins then
What exactly *is* the theme ? From what I could see in this video... post apocalyptic , I guess ? Tere's a buncj oferelict vehicles and buildnfs and a crashed planes (not that you get to see that much of it while riding the coaster, really if tis POV video is any indication.)

Yes - it may look large and thrilling, but its movements are graceful, and the ride is very smooth.

It’s the thought of it, I felt the same to nemesis inferno. Now It’s my favourite ride. At the end of the day it’s their choice if they don’t feel safe or comfortable with it I’d say just let them get on with it.
