You should compare to a zealande rubber strap which is super comfortable, fashionable, comes in many color choices and priced similar to Artem

Well, if I will ever get a Zeelander strap, I will ask my friend to lend me his Artem again...

I have both the rubber strap shown here 032CVZ010127, and an Omega black rubber strap 98000085 on SMP. The 98000085 is much more comfortable to me with small wrist despite being much thicker. I bought an Artem sailcloth for a 234.30.41.21.01.001 and honestly prefer the Omega rubber 98000085.

Thank you, it's always great to receive real world feedback! I don't know, it might be the age of the Omega sylicone (3+ years) that influenced its properties, but to me it felt plasticky and alien. On the other hand, I agree its longevity is testament to its quality and I admit to not knowing how the Artem strap would fare in the long run.

Nice review. I think Artem straps are overpriced and I don't trust their agresive marketing among the RUclipsrs.

I understand what you're saying and I can't confirm or deny how overpriced they are due to not having experienced similarly constructed straps.
The most expensive strap that I own came with my Seiko Alpinist and it's a $100 Erica's Marine Nationale. While I find it overpriced in itself, I cannot not observe how much better (albeit totally different) the Artem is. The real question is: does being at least twice times better than Erica's make the Artem overpriced considering the Erica is overpriced in itself?
On the other hand, when a marketing campaign is so aggressive is becoming harder and harder to distinguish information from noise, so selecting who you're getting your information from becomes paramont.
Multumesc frumos pentru vizionare si suport!

I think, unless you've no other option, if you're buying the Omega (or indeed, any watch) you'd always take the bracelet option as it's cheaper to buy the strap later than the other way around. I also think that Omega straps are overpriced, ugly, and look really cheap and nasty. The Artem strap is also - for me - overpriced, but at least it looks good.

Love Artem straps, quality all around.

I understand your point, but there are people that don't like bracelets and, concerning this specific watch, there are quite a few that don't like its particular bracelet (mainly because the lack of taper).

@@themicrobrandexpert being honest, I'm one of those people. Omega bracelets are getting better, but they've still a way to go. But if anyone was asking my advice, I'd say get the bracelet even if you don't like it/wearing bracelets in general, because it helps the resale down the line.
