@@Galastin But what's the point of the "status" Legendary if the card doesn't stand out from a C, U or Rare card? You should rather make sure that there is enough supply, then you can easily get the cards. It's no use if you have the Legenderies and can't play them...
@@majorwayne9090 Even with a high print run, "good" legendaries are still going to be expensive. With a ~$100 box you're not guaranteed to get even one copy of the legendary you'd like to pull, let alone a playset.
Nice list woo. I think in terms of value the legendaries will end up similar to set 2, mostly $2-$10 with grevious and maul ending up the most expensive around $30.
IMO they have to step up there Legendary Game. During Set 1, my wife and I had a lot of fun opening booster displays to hunt for iconic characters and vehicles (which were also strong) and now with Set 2 and before Set 3, that magic has worn off and we are reducing our number of Displays and approach the opening of Set 3 in a subdued mood. My work colleague doesn't buy any anymore and many stores can't get rid of Set 2 displays at all and offer Set 3 for €79.99...
There is one more use of 'offcical and separatist' on Grievous - you could imagine him NowThereIsTwoOfTheming Dooku or Snoke, but none of those can happen in clean turn after turn sequence so rather niche case.
I agree with most of this. I would have put CAD vein at number one. I think grieve is a good card but realistically he's just a battlefield Marine that cost one more and gets plus one plus one. He's a blank text box. I get it. It's good but it's not number one legendary in the set. Good
This set is super difficult to rate in my opinion. Especially at the top of the list. NTATOT is great but is a +2 Ressource card with these restrictions good enough? Imagine in a bounce or discard heavy meta. Grivous has great stats but dies to the same removal like most other 3 drops do. On the other side being able to trade with 4loam is a big plus. Ahsoka is so versatile in my opinion and has so relevant traits, she might be the biggest sleeper. Ki-Adi-Mundi looks great in a Yoda deck with "You are my last hope". Could even imagine a Yoda Cunning deck with NTATOT republic/force but somehow I didnt see anybody considering it (or they want to keep it secret). Resolute seems weak but it can handle tokens very easy. And imagine how it can swing the board state with a timely intervention.
@@iamwooooo I agree, but like you said in the video it relies on having ANOTHER card that you actually want to clone. A 7 cost battlefield marine just seems unfortunate to me, lol.
As a budget enjoyer of this game, as cool as legendaries are -- I'm glad when there aren't very many good ones.

Good insights. I think Aayla and Ki-Adi are pretty solid, but Grievous as a 3 for a 4/4 is definitely going to see play.
Thanks!
Stoked for ahsoka! Another 5 or 10 spectre cards and I'll finally have a viable deck for the showcase hera I pulled ages ago lol!
Nice!

I am excited to make a Wat Tambor blue deck. I think he would be great for a more aggressive blue villainy deck.
Also I think Cad Bane unit has potential in a Bossk Yellow deck. being able to ping a unit with a bounty to bring its health down for cad to capture.
Now there are two of them with Han 2 could be nice
I see some potential with Han1 double cunning with new enfys nest 7R unit to play it on turn 3 after falcon/l3/dj etc.
8:39, it was confirmed that cloning a dragon would actually trigger on 9-cost, not 7 :)
@@zors5188 Ouch, not ideal for the Clone.
@@iamwooooo indeed indeed. I think clone will see play, but overall a bit overhyped
I think clone is being slept on, and the 8/8 space unit as well, even if you play it for 8, which is more reasonable, that's great value.
Would Shoot First on Maul prevent damage to him if he kills the targets?
I believe so!
just realized darksaber does not have the lightsaber tag!! that's kinda lame since it technically is a lightsaber.

The power level does feel a bit flatter in this one.
@@iamwoooooyeah that sums it up
I think clone should cost a little less. 5 or 6 would be fine though imo. 4 might be a little too little though.
It’s one of those cards than can be too crazy if it’s too cheap to play.

15:48 she may be Better than Ezra, but is she Toad the Wet Sprocket?
"something's always wrong" I guess
I wonder if these rankings would change, for the Twin Suns format…
Probably!
