For everyone in the US, this phone simply will not work with your 99% of networks here and doesn't support wifi. 3G has been discontinued. I would go for the SH-01J model instead. Looks identical but has wifi.

i think almost all can do call/SMS but docomo (from what i’ve found) states that their phones don’t support US data or MMS plans. internet apps will work on wifi though
If you can download apks then you should be able to download any app so yes spotify should work it will be an older version of the app but im pretty sure it should still work

The idea to a flip phone is to actually get away from social media and excessive usage, but yeah, it could be good
That's exactly why I need this kinda phone, then I can chat online, talk to friends, but not be on my phone for more than 2-3 hours a day
A KaiOS based 📱(From, like Nokia/HMDGlobal) would also give you some of the same functionality to use social media.
Use an IPad for social media... Or a laptop

the Cat s22 flip is a good phone but kinda pricey. refurbished is $200 and new its $299
