Don't kill the dandelions. They are a vital food source for the bees. In spring when the other flowers haven't bloomed yet. They are a primary source of nectar and pollen for bees and other pollinators, and their flowers shape helps them feed a wide variety of species. However, dandelions become less important as other food sources become available later. They help support the ecosystem.

I haven't commented much since my Mom ( 81) and I started watching you guys ( engagement!!!! ). Mom loved watching you two... And then it became 3. I would visit her and she would say, "Did you watch Allie and Trent today"? Yes Mom, IDid and we would talk about yo' all. And now it will be 4... but Mom can't watch anymore. On April 6th Mom was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and on the April 17th we lost her. So now I have to watch for Mom. She loved you guys !!!!

Hey...dandilions are good...batter dip the flowers and fry...use a sauce or ranch dressing to dip...nutritious and delicious! Also, make a salad from the leaves! Maybe rethink using poisons on your lawn. A mix of beer, water, and pure soap will kill bugs, feed the lawn...the beer will give your lawn the nourishment it needs. See recipes...water etc. necessary and the sugar gets the nutrients into the soil. Be nature friendly. Just a suggestion.

Hi Allie, I have this insight to share. We have 2 boys. 1st born was normal in utero. He was the sweetest, best behaved little boy, ever. 2nd born was very inactive in utero. Especially the 9th month. After he graced us with his presence he was a “terror on wheels” into everything and faster than a speeding bullet. I had to put a child gate in his bedroom doorway to keep him safe and allow me to get anything done. I still had to check on him every few minutes to make sure the wallpaper was still on the wall or the clean laundry was where it was supposed to be! We think he conserved all his energy for after joining us in the “outside world”. 😂 Love and hugs from sunny Arizona💖😎💖

But ten years ago l decided to Love the bees an extra more .. l put them first. ❤Cuz they are the most importantly little being on this earth. .. 🐝🐝so dandelions stay ~ it’s their food … they don’t last long out finally after a few weeks Mist dandelions are all gone ~ so please let the bees eat Without getting annoyed / worrying about odd smells on the grass. and having less food ..thank you

Keep in mind there are two little ones who will be playing on that lawn. Create a bee and butterfly garden plot instead of cultivating a bee environment in the lawn. You’ll have beautiful color, lots of pollinators and the boys will be able to learn about them from a distance.

I just leave an area, AWAY from the entrances, uncut for a couple cycles of mowing and then leave a different pollen patch somewhere else in the yard. Happy me -- cut yard, and happy pollinators -- pollen patch, Plus, we need them to survive. I think htey've gotten the message though! LOL!!!! Check out these comments!

Hello from hot Florida! When I watch Trent’s antics on the ladders, I am always reminded of my life-long (I’m 72 yo) “nightmare” of fleeing someone/something (the circumstances change with the dreams) with the only way out being the need to climb the stairs from the underside of the steps. I always wake up exhausted from the effort. Watching Trent on the ladders causes me the breathless feeling I have upon waking from my nightmares. ❤ y’all, especially sweet Leo!!

I noticed the music was very original. Very nice. And very refreshing.
What is it with all these _sunday_ names for products? I thought it was going to be dog food. But it was lawn care! I guess they are both of interest to our canine friends. It did make me glance for dandelions getting ready to bloom, but the lawn is looking its best ever! Moderate rains have made the grass grow very thickly and maybe is crowding out the weeds.

@@Hadassah28 Native wildflowers would be a much better replacement for native pollinators! Much better for local wildlife than dandelions since they aren’t endemic (they are considered invasive in the US, and a lot of the bee species that like them are also invasive, and push out native bees like bumble bees), so would be good to plant some locally native wildflowers to replace them maybe along the property borders.

It was weird, but not dangerous. My doctor said it was not so low that I was in danger of passing out. We are all so different that when I hear of some one-size-fits-all treatment, I stay away from it. I loved being pregnant and felt like I was walking on air. Allie, you seem so happy, too.
