Thomas Wayne shooting Reverse Flash was a better choice than stabbing him in the comic. Mainly because the artwork showed the sword being huge. That being said, his line in the comic was better. “Doctor’s advice, when you’re in the middle of a war, don’t stand still.”
Canonically, its happened in the comics. The first time, Batman actually just talked to him and Thomas started using non lethal bullets in the same sense that Red Hood uses. Red Hood and Thomas Wayne in the comics both used sub-sonic rubber bullets, and Red Hood (depending on storyline) still does. That was before they made him a pointless villain... like a legitimately pointless villain, way to kill a great character DC.
Batman: Wait, if I'm dead in the Flashpoint timeline, then what happened to my parents? Flash: Uh, how do I put this? Your dad is Flashpoint Batman with guns and your mom is the Joker. Batman:
It's a great film. I enjoyed the story. When I worked at the movie theater we played this film using a dvd player, but to watch it on a movie screen was so cool! Good video
I first watched Flashpoint Paradox several years ago, per recommendation of a friend of mine who was helping me really get into DC content. I wasn't much of a comic book guy growing up, but I really enjoyed Batman TAS and Teen Titans. I would not actively watch Justice League, despite both the original and Unlimited airing through my childhood. HOWEVER....Flashpoint Paradox made me a lot more interested and it also made The Flash one of my favorite superheroes. It's a really good movie, easily one of my favorite DC animated films along with Mask of the Phantasm and Under the Red Hood. It makes me happy to see people still discovering it and enjoying it to this day. On a side note, what Barry's mom tells him in the flashback is a direct quote of the Serenity prayer.
By the way, some fans hate the animated Flashpoint and the animated films that followed it due to the fact that they had too much emphasis on darkness and naturalistic violence. And because of this, in their opinion, DC began to be perceived as a dark equivalent of Marvel.
yeah the movie is a masterpiece i mean it is like a exact copy of the flashpoint comics with a few tiny changes , and the flashpoint is the best flash comic event and its not even a question
As good as the movie already is, it could've been made better. Flash should've visited his mother in the messed-up timeline and consulted her indirectly about changing the timeline, kinda like how Thor had his moment with Avengers: Endgame. It'll be hard to pull off since we can't exactly find the right words to say (he can't just say that he changed the timeline and then ask if it's right to change it back, or something, since he didn't know yet, not till Thawne revealed the truth, for example), but I guess we could have the Flash start with "mom, if you feel something has gone so terribly wrong that trying to fix it might make it worse, do I still try to fix it?" and then his mom goes "is that what your heart really believes?" to which the Flash goes, "but mom, more people will die, you will-" then zips his mouth, afraid to reveal what he intends to do. Then his mom understood via gut feeling. At this point, it's fine if she somehow has super sense to realize that this timeline has something terribly wrong going on and he's talking about fixing it. Then she kinda consents, out of parental love. "So long as my son lives in a better place, I'm fine with anything happening to me." Then the Flash realizes via super sense that his mom knows what he's talking about. They then hug each other (with the Flash crying out of guilt) and then the Flash goes running, intentionally suiting up in front of her so she knows that he's the Flash. "Ma, I'm going now." She then smiles bittersweet, "run along, son. I'm always rooting for you." Now where do we put this potential scene? Kinda before the Flash encourages the blackpilled superheroes to cheer up and fight the Amazonians and Atlanteans no matter what.
It’s kinda bullshit that Flash simply going back in time to save his mother results in… all of this That means Flash’s mother and Bruce’s parents are DESTINED to die no matter what
This movie helps me reminds that everything happens for a reason. There's a reason why Bruce's parents died and not him, there's a reason why the Kent's see Superman and not the government, and etc. Same in real life. God works in mysterious ways.
Oke, someone could explain: how could Barry run trough timelines, if he can't do it back, because of Eobard? He was alive in the previous timeline, wasn't he?
I haven't seen the movie in awhile but flash has multiple speedsters in his timeline and it hasn't stopped him from TT so how does Rv stop him from doin it
My best guess is RV purposely drawing as much speed force as possible to prevent the time travel, rather than the relatively small amount of speed force being drawn by speedsters doing their every day stuff.
@@datboizee6539 I’m not super well versed, so take this with a grain of salt, but between how RF acts in this movie, and the comments made by Johnny Quick in the connected movie “Crisis on Infinite Earths”, in this continuity at least there is some form of speed force limit. RF is able to prevent Barry from hitting time travel speed, and in CoIE, JQ killed all other speedsters, making Barry feel faster than ever, while JQ comments on losing half of his speed due to the new speedster taking up half the power he’s used to having to himself.
I have one question, since Wonder Woman still has the lasso of truth, could Barry have found her once he got his powers back. As soon as she puts the lasso on him, he tells her what's going on and how this isn't the true her. Could that have caused her to stop, if Aquaman is still there and he knows the lasso is real and he hears this does that end the war before they trigger the doomsday device?
Batman's mother, Martha transforming into the Joker when Bruce died was terrifying.
Well, she had one bad day.
Martha, why did you say that name?!!!!!!!!!
As a kid I thought that there were joker chemicals in the bullet, but now I know why she went insane. And it terrifies me more,

@@keithharrissuwignjo2460 it wasn’t, I was very young, and I was trying to be logical, but nowadays, it’s more emotional and psychological
Only Thomas Wayne's letter survived Flashpoint.
And sadly, it was erased when Flash was forced to do another Flashpoint after "Justice League Dark: Apokolips wars."
@josecuestas7246 what happened after Apokalips war... which technically he caused, just needed to happen.
@@negadoge I have understood, that in the next DC timeline, it will be with "The Batman Who Laughed".
The way they reconned it so that reverse flash didn’t die from the bullet until a couple movies later was crazy.
Martha Wayne’s transformation into the joker was haunting and heartbreaking
Thomas put her in therapy. The novel is dope

Bruce's Batman would disown Thomas' Batman for killing and using guns.

I watched this, and then I watched the flash movie……..
This movies is what The Flash movie shouldve been
It is a masterpiece - every other fictions
CW Flashpoint was extremely under cooked
It was good
The animated films and shows better than most live actions not prime cw flash tho as that was goated
Bruce getting the letter from Thomas Wayne was so sad
Seeing Grifter & The Demon was so dope
I loved the consistency of the story and no ads
It was animated by the same people who made 2012 berserk (studio 4c)

That's very interesting, but I don't think logic goes very well with this version of Aquaman and Wonderwoman lol
Maybe if you caught them both early. But the longer it takes, the closer they hit that point of no return where they've gone too far to stop.

You need to cover the rest of the dcamu
