2004 suburban 202,542 miles and still going strong I still trust it going on road trips no hesitation and do so often only complain is it can eat some gas especially when towing
Always been a dodge guy but I drove the Tahoe (older version) here overseas and I loved it. Really impressed with it, especially the newer one. Interior is beautiful and thats what really sells me on the vehics. Great, passionate and enthusiastic reviews as always 😎👍🏾
One reason I respect the American brands is because they update their larger SUVs as well. Expedition, Navigator and now the GM twins. They do not just focus on the smaller vehicles, the mass market

Love this new Z71. Chevy finally made all the upgrades I wanted. Mainly dropping the floor by adding a IRS giving more cargo capacity. I hated the floor height of the 15-19 because it took away space from the previous generations. However, I’ll be sticking with my 06 Z71 bc these new trucks are too expensive to justify on my salary new. Maybe in a few years I can justify a used model lol.

One of the main advantages of a Tahoe over Suburban is the turn radius, and they go and lengthen the wheelbase. Great if you want a slightly aggressive looking SUV with easy to find tow hooks, but this thing still looks like it will spend 99% of its time on pavement. Long gone are the days where a person could buy a brand new Tahoe Z71 and feel great about taking off across the farm in it the next day.
Love the look- too big and bulky for off road, but this looks like a great redesign. If I was in the market for something that large, I would take a hard look at this one. Great vid
I feel like this may be GMs answer to the Bronco. It would be cool if they made a 2 door and called it the K5 or something like that. Proud owner of a 1999 Tahoe here!
The top of the grille being further ok ut than the front really messed up the front end. Just my opinion, I'll wait to see it in person. Good job dude.
Joe you need an endorsement deal with Twinkies! I guess we have no idea on mileage? I rented an Escalade last week to try out and the mileage was horrific! You should come to the Canadian Auto show in Toronto. Take RR international.
One main thing I never liked on any cars or trucks is the center dash console entertainment system that looks a tablet sitting on top. I rather have in built into the dashboard itself. My opinion..
Now would be the time to pick up a low mileage previous gen (2015-2020) Tahoe or Suburban as parts will be readily available and prices will significantly go down. I always stay one generation behind as any common problems or issues will be well documented and you can correct them.
GM finally updated the interior thats a plus. Zonk is doesnt come with diesel engine option because GM said its buyers didnt want it for offroad which is dumb.
As someone who will likely buy a diesel Denali when it comes out, the GM platform is just not offroad capable. The land cruiser is where it's at. The z71 could MAYBE desert run if you want but it would require modification to the suspension to keep it from breaking. All for offroading but these offroaders are no different than "sport" trim packages that give you performance tires and sport tuned shocks with no other changes

Had a 2005 z71 suburban, then 2014 z71 Tahoe, went to a GMC 2019 Terrain. Seeing this I need a new 2021 z71 Tahoe !!!

I would recommend waiting for the 2022 Tahoe. Doing so so the 2021 Tahoe can work out the first year bug.

If GMC can put that type of interior in the 2021 Sierra Denali, I'd pull the trigger and be the first one to buy.
