I owned a few 1969 Camaro's years ago wish I would have kept one I replaced the drivers side door and partial floor pans but wasn't impressed with the thin sheet metal that was available back then has anything changed with the quality of the sheet metal or thickness?

Those quarter panels are junk. I would be very disappointed if I was basing my new build on such poor quality parts. I'm surprised you welded the body top / outside to bottom / inside. Other builds have started from the bottom and worked upwards, literally starting from the rear frame rails and then putting the floorpan on top, in a jig. That's how the factory did it.

I build everything off the doors, no matter what it is, if the door is right with the pillars and rockers then everything else will start to form up
