To kill a guardian either shoot it with an ancient arrow, attack it with a REALLY powerful weapon (master sword) or parry the shots from the guardian. To parry, hit A with your shield out (hold ZR) when the attack hits. You can parry most attacks. Btw if you shoot a guardian in the eye it stuns the guardian for a while
@@LGP you can craft them at Robbie’s lab in the akkala region, it cost 300 rupees and some screws I think!💕 and thank you for this video I’m so stuck on the last one!😭

I notice you don't use ancient arrows, one ancient arrow can kill a guardian...you can get them at the tech lab all the way north east of the map, thanks for your video's they helped me al whole lot!!!
I do use them but I tried to do these videos not using them because not everyone has them. To complete something quickly I use them often. Thanks for the tip 😊
You can use ancient arrows. Shoot them in their eye thingy with an ancient arrow the guardians. They destroyed in one hit. The guardians destroyed in one hit with the ancient arrows are the ones that target you to shoot you. 👍
So you know the game calls it a divine beast but they also call it a trial. It also states that link is undergoing learning to pilot divine beast when he enters for the final trial so my guess is this isnt a divine beast per say but it is a prototype underground where champions train to pilot the beasts before trying to subjugate them as they pushed the idea that the beasts can be not only difficult to master but dangerous in general. The map doesnt resemble any animal and if you were to surround it with a mechanical cube that could explain how it can move.
Wow you have explained that in detail. It might be exactly as you write! Some people call it dungeons as well so that might help your theory of it being underground. Thanks for that
@@LGP oh it has to be underground since you start in the shrine that is in a mountain and when you return for the final trial the whole room goes down like an elevator. 😂 but yeah my guess it was simply a training facility for the champions to learn basic functions of divine beasts. Since it doesnt flip you around much (only rotates by cogs) it seems like it was geared towards learning the controls only. Since it uses guidance stones and such. It shows in the story each champion learning their own beast also but as you see in game each one is special but the only thing these 4 beasts have in common is the way you control them just like the 5th supposed one. Its honestly the best explanation because I've seen people try saying it's like a mechanical giant turtle mountain like in ffxv except that one wasn't a robot.
@@LGP I came up with a better conclusion. Maybe the bike is the divine beast built for the Hero and this is his way of learning to tame the beast. Since his role was to always get close and use the sword as his main weapon it would make sense to make something like a horse that can reach speeds far greater. I only just did this my first time so I didnt know you got a bike at the end 🤪 I dont handle spoilers. But the bike shows up next to the beasts in loading screens so it could be inferring that.
So fun thing about this boss. On the platform to make the arm grab the shaft. If you have an arrow stuck in it like I did. The arm will not close. So you need a way to remove the arrow from the shaft. Like a korok leaf.
So I don’t know what i didn’t do but I unlocked all the locks moved the last gear in place and nothing happened! The door didn’t open , did I miss something?
@@LGP I am new to the game I just started playing a couple weeks ago but I started with all the DLC..so I have been playing through a lot of the main game..maybe that's why..I have like all upgraded and DLC items etc etc..my bows are more like 50-60 dmg and my Master Sword is 70 (finished that DLC...WOW it was hard) Thanks for the vids!
No problem, I put 120 hours into this game and replayed most of it to record some shrines I was missing. It's a fantastic game, I hope they release BoTW 2. Thanks James.
First off love your videos!! Have helped me a lot through BOTW so far. A little tip to you and everyone during that first big Guardian you faced that took you like 25 bomb arrows. I shot him in his eye with one ancient arrow and he died in one shot. Just a tip for everyone!!
I hate that all the gear in the "FINAL" dungeon is all crappy for late game players. Like honestly no point in getting the chest because it is all junk, besides the arrows.
@@LGP heres 2 tips for parrying guardians. 1. Get close enough to a grounded guardian or stalker so that when it fires you can parry real quick. 2. When its aiming walk backward while being focused on it and parry
You have to shield parry to deflect his laser beam back at him. Hold ZL to block with your shield then just as he shoots the beam hit the A button. You can tell when he's about to shoot it cause the beam turns silver just before it shoots out at you and at that exact moment hit the A button. The shield parry is the only way to beat calamity Ganon and the only way to block some of a Lynels attacks specifically the explosion move where he plummets his weapon into the ground and the spinning attack he does when he's carrying a club. It was interesting to watch you waste so many arrows though. You made that fight as hard as the final boss in this dungeon 😆🤣
Oh wow, I unlocked all four terminal locks, placed the cog and it did not open the door. What do I do? Do it all over again from the beginning? I saw someone else also had that same glitch happen. *sigh* ☹ Okay, update: Because I need to put it all the way in, okay. Saw in another video. 👍

FYI it is not a divine beast even though it says but the reason is that its the same control

To defeat that guardian you had trouble with.... Use Stasis+ quickly and 1 shot directly to its eye with and Ancient Arrow, kills it instantly!
Yes. Sometimes I do that. It’s having the ancient arrows. I was trying to do it for people that did have them also 😊 thanks for the tip though

I did this dungeon no problem without a guide on my first try but the cog won't grab onto the door for the bossfight, my game is glitched 🙃
