Barn burner in Eagle Bridge

- We are at 24 Crescent Road in Eagle Bridge, where we see a structure fire involving a large barn. There were a number of vehicles inside the barn, including an old Ford Model A, unfortunately none of which were able to be saved. Responding companies came from Buskirk, Cambridge, West Hoosick, and Johnsonville. I am unsure of the models of each truck, engine, and tanker, but there were some Internationals, Freightliner, Pierce, and KME. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The videos were taken on May 6th, 2021.

Great video. Good thing the wind wasn't blowing the fire toward other structures. Thanks for the post.
Great cooperation and teamwork among several communities.....And the birdhouse survived.
we can be glad that voluntary and professional firefighters are there for the population day and night. I'm a volunteer in Austria myself, greetings and glory to God🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have not seen wet stuff on the red stuff any quicker. Not much the crews could have done, but they acted as fast as was humanly possible. Well done.
could have stayed home for all difference it made
It's interesting that you can hear the fire crackle and burn 🔥from your video recording which is so far away. Great video!!
Great job guys
That fire was over before they got there
Typical
Holy cow that thing is cooking! Great footage pre arrival too!
this thing burned for some time before discovered or called on. The amount of fire consumption is incredible!
Spitze die Jungs . Superschnell . So sollte es anderswo auch sein.👍
I love them stretching the lines pull it off the engine then dump it in the yard. Be nice if they used that bright yellow hose on the back when they arrived so the other trucks didn't need to pull up the lane too.
Exactly what I was thinking. Should've used a triple load, easy to pull off and deploy. Second engine should've backed in the drive right at the end, ran a supply line to the first engine, so they could either set up for the dump take or supply lines.
Dam hell good video
Wow
I thought you were bringing the truck! 😲
When the video started it was nothing but a big trash fire
It's so funny reading the comments. This is upstate NY. Vollies. I appreciate the video.
Took the fire department a long time to get there. The building was already a total lose by the time they arrived.
The building was a loss even before I got there, which was about 6 or 7 minutes before the fire departments got there.
How far away? Volunteer? You have zero facts.
The Structure was fully involved before anyone got their absolutely no saving The building wish we could have and the departments that got dispatched first got their in a pretty good time. I think everything was handled very well at the scene.
agree, why bother sending all those trucks, just a waste. saved some dandelions. I think most firemen call-outs are pointless
"Smokeshowin'. Investigating."
Wow, fantastic video. I have a question, what camera do you use?
Thanks! I use a Leica V-Lux 114.
Eagle Bridge NY?
Yes
I think they should just let it burn. There's nothing to save so the more it burns the easier the clean up.
👍👍..🤗
How long did they wait to call F.D. and/or how far away if the F.D. and/or do they even have a local F.D.??
Fire department sirens were going off before I got there. The first engines came in about two minutes after I took the first scene in the video. Keep in mind, this is rural Upstate New York, where towns are 10 minutes apart or more from each other. The closest two fire departments are about 5 or 6 minutes away, give or take. Additionally, this is a midday, mid-week fire, so volunteer fire fighters are probably getting pulled from work, from their homes, from wherever, and getting to the firehouse as quickly as possible.
@@FL92002 exactly, I seen the guy handing his baby of to the mom, amazing.
someone put the mower away hot?...Or did it start with one of the Cars?...I used to never leave a Battery connected on any of my Old cars..
Did they not set up a dump tank??
No. The engines went to a nearby pond and drafted into their own booster tanks.
So the firefighters got in place before the apparatus??? 🤔
Them old heart pine pole barns burn very fast.
Looks like one more Ford model a was lost.
Bummer, One more barn find lost.😔
It looks like a 2 door sedan.
Defensive at the beginning of video.
Lack of water set up dump tank
Huh? Chief pulls pre- connect like 6 feet then drops it in a pile. Why not pull it completely then double back?
Truck would be nice lol
Someone call 911 tell them barn fully involved
Nothing to save here. She's gone.
Did the fire dept respond from out of state?
No. All departments were from New York State.
rumor has it that 2yrs later some trucks are still arriving
Save the basement 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦😝😛💨i have been a volunteer fire man
May as well cancel the Foundation Savers and just let it burn out. Easier to clean up. Good video in any case.
These guys need to learn how to set up for water supply, and how to deploy a hose line.
A little later on, they were going out to a nearby pond and drafting to replenish water supplies.
The place was gone. Who gives a shot now.
Oof
