Always check fuel pump on these EFs when they had been sitting for a while. Almost always it’s rusted away beyond saving. Replace tank pump and filter. Awesome vid like always.
My fuel pump looked worse when I pulled it out after the car sat in the garage for seven years. I had to replace the whole tank and fuel pump. It sucked but had to be done. Awesome content bro!

I feel like this could be a good platform for someone else getting their first crx. But I would be very selective on who I sold it to and really make sure it goes to a good home. Could bring someone else alot of joy, I say sell it.

Dude its an Si its a definite save. These are going up in value not as much as the Type R but they are def in the class of collectors. Anything Type R, Type S, Si , or A spec will be valuable

With cars going the way they are it may be the last one you find in that shape. If you where to paint it white the right way throw a b16 stock and put sir badges on it.....keep it "stock" or resto mod it. Oh and if you need ac parts I have all but the hi low lines

Not everyone needs a perfect looking crx man. I know you have your own views and it's hard for you to see past every single 88-91 Civic/crx being completely restored to OEM status, but that's not us. This guy and I both already own pretty looking OEMish cars. And to tell you the truth, these beaters are 100x more fun than those "lookers".

I haven't even hit play yet, the answer is SAVE! but watching, any idea when it was repainted blue? that looks an awful lot like my old red crx si that I sold many years back, was repainted that color blue, turbo doc zc and a body kit.. body kit removed before it was sold again... I wonder if I still have that vin number somewhere.....

I've always wondered where a lot of my old cars went. I found 2 in a junkyard which hurt, but no idea on so many others.

That interior is screaming for a detail shampoo. Good lord the colors that would come out of the fabric from 30+ years of collection. Nasty haha, I would love to wrap the car in a demascus vinyl with the blue paint that would be sick.
Something I wish I had done when I got my shell running was replace the tank and pump. Went through 2 fuel pumps and 3 filters before I finally just said fuck it and got a new tank.

Maybe you can help with this: everytime I honk the horn it blows the fuse and that circuit also disables the shifter. Is this a common issue with ‘99s? I REALLY like horns... I can’t really find a short, any ideas? I thought maybe it has something do with the airbag possibly, the car needs to go in for a recall that will hopefully get rid of the red srs light that has been on forever.

This is exactly how my $500 crx I just bought is there anyway you could do a a video about the engine harnesses/charge harness it keeps blowing the 60amp fuse And I cannot figure out why❤️

3:32 lol imagine having a CR-V in the wrong county. I always hated that back door swinging the wrong way. How hard would it have been for them to just put the hinge on the right side for the US models.
Lol, I think this is the appropriate side since I exit from the driver side. I like the swing door in CR-V's, better than a hatch style door. I've been able to use it with my window open and transport longer items.

The swinging door should be on the other side cause if you use that on a busy road in the city, think of how wrong it is if someone parks behind you. It's no big deal though, I miss my CR-V. There corkey ness becomes the reasons why we love Hondas, am I right?
Definitely! I had a 12' ladder I bought and half was sticking out the back of the CR-V. Worked like a champ! I was sold on it after that day!

What a paint job!?? Even the license plate! I guess a razor blade can clean it up a bit.
I see the reasoning. The front windshield is cracked, but the plate? Takes 10 seconds to remove it. Lol
