  • What a DAY!! We were awoke by a REALLY smelly Condo at a RIDICULIOUS time in the morning (for someone who's retired) BUT we decided to make the best of it and get a few things done! Join us as we renew our cells phone plans, which company is the best? hit the bank and learn something new, go to the bike shop and look into daily rentals for long distance and of course, GO TO THE BEACH!
    Thank you so much for watching!

    It sounds like you’re really enjoying a peaceful and relaxing life, while many of us are battling anxiety and stress here in the USA. Sometimes, seeing how others live so calmly can make us reflect on our own hectic lives and the need to find more balance and tranquility.

      @arwenmegan that is so funny you so that.... because there are little men on scooters selling "bun bo hue" traveling up and down the streets in danang with a recording that repeats "bun bo hue" like every 10 seconds..... these vendors are everywhere in Danang! I think riding a bigger bike to Hue will be more comfortable than the Honda lead we drive all the time here! 👍

    Forgot to add that you'll need to use one of the larger ATM locations for this, like VPBank Son Tra (1094 Ngo Quyen), or VP Bank DN (112 Phan Chau Trinh). Also assumes you you have sufficient daily limit on your ATM card.

      ...⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would like to answer your question based on a Vietnamese person who loves to explore and love the sea.
      - Vinh city is located in the north from Da Nang. If the beaches face the north, it will not be good because near many estuaries, the sea water is silt-colored and can only be bathed 2-3 months a year in the summer.
      - You can head south from Da Nang and there will be beautiful beaches with very few tourists such as:
      1/ An Bang beach Hoi An ruclips.net/video/tYCC3ZKjbEQ/видео.htmlsi=dndfMpjaYT_k2BRx
      2/ Quy Nhon city

    thank u for reply,, """we bring our Canadian sims with us and a second phone for authentication purposes""" THAT is my ultimate question right there. The ""second phone for authentication purposes""" I'm assuming THAT phone is on a cell plan back in canada and that phones number is the one your credit cards ..banking... etc etc...will text to if needing to verify / identify its you. so that is my question. how is 'that' phone set up ? to be able to receive texts from back in canada if needed?
    (and yes, i told allllllll my banks, credit cards, to put in the system i would be abroad for a year....and then 4 months into traveling...started getting locked out of all. and had to come back to straighten everything out. they were sending those ''verifications''' to my cell, but i had no plan set up to receive (calls/texts) from back in the u.s. thank u for taking the time.

    • @wattstraveling
      @wattstraveling  Месяц назад

      @dalesmf4310 hi, yeah we carry a small Canadian plan from home....probably the most basic plan just so we can do verifications. That sucks you had to go back home to straighten out your banking..... yikes!
      I believe there ARE other ways to do the verification thing but I'm not too familiar with what is offered in the US. Have you heard of proton mail? Where your verification go through email instead of text. Just a thought! 👍I believe it's free a well. You can look into fongo as well.

    2?’s. what’s the visa situation or how often does one have to do a border run? Is it still every 30 days? And only 30days given upon entry?
    How or what are you using to keep your U.S cell number….did you guys buy an international plan before leaving the u.s?
    I’m trying to figure out a way so I can receive text messages from the u.s . I was locked out of all my online banking and credit cards while in Philippines, bcuz my banks kept sending VERIFICATION / Authentication numbers texted to my cell. But I didn’t get an international cell plan back in the u.s bcuz too damm expensive and i didn’t feel the need to bcuz i use WHATSAPP anyways. So im curious what ex pats are using so if one’s bank needs to AUTHENTICATE AN VERIFY it’s you,,, how do you get texts from the u.s?
