Regarding the 3D Cache usage when playing HFW, I know someone who stated that when they are using the 3D Cache only, the game stutter horribly and its unplayable Any thoughts on this?
Personally I think DLSS Quality with no FG looks better than DLAA and FG at 4K. DLSS Quality gives better visual fidelity than native 4K in majority of games. To be fair it’s impossible to tell the difference unless you’re comparing still images of both settings I’ve found. In motion they both look absolutely amazing
Now, if you had a video showing the steps on how to have the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D only 3D cores enabled, similar to 7800X3D. Not many videos showing the steps on how to run on 3d cores only.
Hi, It wasn't needed, it can get a good experience without both being enabled. Both enabled at the same time (at lower resolutions) will produce a soft image.
You honestly shouldn’t be disabling half your cores coz then you’re just using a 7800X3D and you wasted money, considering not all games prefer the 3DVcache and some game prefer clock speeds I’d use process lasso - it allows you to forge programs to use different cores and CCDs depending on your liking, so for example horizon you use the Vcache CDD and for minecraft you use the clock speed CCD

I see some shimmering in DLAA compared to TAA in 4k no upscaling
Soooooo I need a 1440 monitor to have better visuals, or does that affect frames on my 4K odyssey monitor?
I would love to see with 4060 in this test, will you make it? if yes, when can i expect?
love from India🥰🥰
That's the next GPU I'll test in his game 😃
Tomorrow btw!
My dream GPU ❤
Don’t, get the 4090
If your going to make another video try playing for another hour you should get to an area called plainsong on ps5 the resolution drops a lot in that area digital foundry also noticed this area was a bit more intensive
Can you test the in game resoltion scaler?
Also can you.cap fps with framegen to keep frametimes smooth?
I would love to see how amd card perform in the game cards like the rx 7700xt and 7800 xt
So we ain't in 8k gaming era yet
The dlc is a bit more vram heavy by about 500mb but the graphics are amazing in the dlc you can fly through the clouds 🥴😍✈️
Still nowhere as bad as other unoptimized games
@@mrbobgamingmemes9558 yeah the game is well optimised but it makes sense that the dlc is more demanding it has way more volumetric and alpha effects
Why you didn't try the dlss quality with the dlss frame generation on the RTX 4060 ?
Regarding the 3D Cache usage when playing HFW, I know someone who stated that when they are using the 3D Cache only, the game stutter horribly and its unplayable
Any thoughts on this?
I was only using the 3D cores and it didn't stutter once! It's probably something else causing it.
Hello buddy, when you have time do a benchmark with the rtx 3080 ti. Would be much appreciated!
Now, if you had a video showing the steps on how to have the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D only 3D cores enabled, similar to 7800X3D. Not many videos showing the steps on how to run on 3d cores only.
Now we need an Intel ARC benchmark ✊✊✊
As soon as possible🦾🦾🦾
I would love to see you try this with an RX 7600 XT or RTX 4060
hi dude what's stopping you from doing tests with dlss and frame generation at once?????
Hi,
It wasn't needed, it can get a good experience without both being enabled. Both enabled at the same time (at lower resolutions) will produce a soft image.
I dont get it, how dragons dogslow 2 run worse than this while look worse at the same time ?
RE Engine wasn’t made for open world games in mind.
Gtx 1080Ti and 980Ti please. The old goats
I have a friend who has a 10 years old videocard, and the game runs beautifully at 1080 pixels for him.
Please test the RTX 3080 on newer titles!!
A 6800XT should be able to do 1440p NATIVE max ~70fps right? If this one does ~105, thats like ~50% more
But i think the game is nvidia biased ...
how come your 4080 S uses same power W as my 3070 around 230w ? shouldnt be much more specialy @ 4k +
Could you test Horizon Forbidden West on the RX 6600 please?
I use 1440p OLED monitor with true hdr. The game looks so great I need new eyes.
I got a 4070Ti and the frame gen option is grayed out for me
You honestly shouldn’t be disabling half your cores coz then you’re just using a 7800X3D and you wasted money, considering not all games prefer the 3DVcache and some game prefer clock speeds I’d use process lasso - it allows you to forge programs to use different cores and CCDs depending on your liking, so for example horizon you use the Vcache CDD and for minecraft you use the clock speed CCD
RTX 4090 - 8K with Maximum settings DLSS Q at 60 fps.. I think so. please show me
I have a Ryzen 7800x3D and rtx 4080 but my gpu utlization is way lower than yours and therefore my framerate also differs a lot. 😢
Temperature 55 ???!!!!! Really????😮
most of the times I just play story games on 75 fps even if my GPU can handle more. but for story 75 fps are a good and enjoyable spot for me on max settings.
I just want to play this game on 75 fps too but I've already played this on my ps5 and really don't wanna spent the money again!! seems like have to do some workaround!!
Meanwhile Dragon Dogma 2 cost much more, look visually okish, have microtransactions and horrible performance xD
