@@Veecollette I stopped skating like 5 years ago, didn't really progress beyond the basics. About 2 years ago I bought a new board and have been doing it on/off since. I don't really do flatground tricks at all. I can ollie and shuvit and nearly kickflip, but I enjoy miniramp skating, and I got a few impressive tricks down on that. It's much more fun than flatground imo. Haven't skated this year at all thinking about it
They take time man. I just started getting them down a few weeks ago. On the internet, you'll hear everyone say they learned them in a couple days. But don't worry about it, it's pretty common to take even a couple months to get them down.
Shawn Renaerts One thing that you should know about too when you hear that from ppl on the internet is that they have probably been trying to learn it from time to time and never really said that, and then they learned from practicing it for one week. But of course some makes it in days, but they probably got some really good help too
Ok sa after over a year practicing from time to time, I landed my first and second one yesterday. I didn't land any today. :( I have problems flipping my board, it doesn't flip fast enough.
That reaction was absolutely hilarious. Where did that machine gun come from all of a sudden? LOL - I always enjoy watching you get super stoked that you landed a hard trick, you can tell its 100% genuine happiness. Keep doing vids like these. I just wanted to add that the trick to the triple kickflip is to flick hard, pop high and after the flick jump and tuck your legs up and stay crouched longer than normal so that the board has more time to spin. Some people even land this trick still in a crouched posture. When you keep this in your mind I can guarantee you that you will go out there and land alot more of them next session.
that's insane to me your foot placement remains pretty similar through all 3 flips, the more rotations I do the farther back my foot goes! your flick must be mad strong! props!
+420 A.D Castle Clash They arent even that hard. Doubles are easy, just need to flick slightly harder. I remember when i was at the skatepark playing my friend in a game of skate and did one first try, he was pissed XD
This makes Aaron a legend because he's one of the first ones in the world to hit this trick and he did it flat grounded which makes it even more impressive
Damn Kyro, you sure you weren't a ninja in a previous life? Lol tre kicks for dayz buddy. Keep learning new tricks and have fun doing them. You guyz (Braille Army) are the best!
You make me want to learn how to skate. I was given a skateboard as a kid but never took any interest in it. Now I see how much I am missing. But, like anybody who doesn't know how to skate, I suck. Even my 10 year old step-brother can heelflip, kickflip, pop shuv, front/backside (180's) as well as ollie like 2 feet in the air. I can pop shuv somehow, but i can't ollie or do anything else. Basically what i'm saying is, I want to learn, but I just don't know how to. I also can never make my foot slide up the board and level in the air. I think it's a lot with not committing, but also because I just can't seem to get my foot to do that. I can see how to do the tricks, but I can't make myself actually do and land it (I can flip the board sometimes, but I just can't land it, or if I do, it's one foot). Teach me plox
Yep. Just start pushing around on your first foot you put forward to run a mile. Don't push mongo, but your foot on the front of the board. (below the bolts or on them) And push slowly with the other foot. Be calm and confident. If you fall, it's okay it's all a part of the learning process
Dont ride mongo cuz i ride mongo (but learning regular!) and i have been bullied heaps from everyone at my park!!! Even though i can tre flip and am better than everyone there
I have been practicing when I can (Which has been for about a month total time overall) and I can kickflip, Ollie, Pop shuv, Front Shuv, 360 Shov and some No-Comply tricks. Working on Heelpflips (Can do maybe 1-2/10) and Varial Kickflips. I push mongo. It just feels proper to me, and "regular" pushing is just weird to me, but I stand regular. Unfortunately, where I live, I only get to ride outside for about 4-5 months, and currently I am stuck learning with a Walmart board. Man it would be amazing to be able to do what Aaron Kyro can.
Children have no life and skate 24/7 so they get OK at it that don't means shit tho just means they been at it long. U can skate at any age and most pros are old not kids at all so grab a board and get to it just don't give up it can take a year to Ollie loll if not months even pros took that long and admitted it I seen.
I can double flip and it is exhausting... I am afraid of even trying triples!! Congratulations Aaron for all your videos. I love the "Today I learned" series
Thats funny i was just thinking this nd have the same problem. Nd i looked it up nd watched his how to ollie off of a kicker ramp video right before i watched this video. I saw it then at the bottom i saw tripple flips nd sed wow nd it brought me here! Lol anyway keep shredding, i love skating ramps there just a pain in the ass with gettin the pump nd then the pop at the right time..
Aaron you are really inspiring me to skate. Thank you so much I've got my ollies, front 180s, back 180s, Pop Shuv, front Shuv and trying to heel flip I'm really close :)
To those beginners having problems landing single kickflips start with your feet close apart and the board will spin faster as you start to get comfortable and land them start to spread your feet apart more. (it helped me when I used to skate)
Nice job, I do triple quite a bit, tips from me are first off.. you’ll want to be moving a bit, not fast but it helps, wearing shorts also helps a lot, you don’t want your trucks too loose, and put your foot close to the edge of the board for more of a kick. All these pointers help trust me. I’ve got one vid on RUclips (five on flat James Stevens) doubles are my thing
I found doing a triple easier to do when you bring the kick foot a little past the mid point of the board going toward the tail but toes directly inline of the screws toward the nose and just kicking as hard as you can when you ollie.
The one at 4:34 looks kind of like a Triple Dolphin Flip. You might want to try learning those. :D Not Triple, but Dolphin Flips. :P You'll get to Triple some day.
He said it himself, he wasn't the first to do it. People have been doing it for years. There's even a video I saw of a guy doing it in a clown suit, weird shoes and all.
I actually have no idea what the video's called. But there is one guy that kind if does it. Sketchy as hell and looks like shit, but kind of it. "Reda Hedada Read Flip" something like that.
King Barney I saw that. Only other video who claims it, and what he did was more of an awkward 360 flip. The first rotation was vertical, but the second was just a shove it motion. It only flipped once, and it was only vertical at the beginning. So far, he and chris chann are the only people who have claimed it, but chris chann is the only one who has done it.
man, youre such an animal! xD greets from germany. i'm managed to old school kickflip yesterday. but only while standing still. it's a bloody mess when moving ;)
He makes double flips look so easy
King Nightrus 3
Because they r
they are
King Nightrus haha yeah like: “one, two..”
They are learned them after kickflips
and I've just mastered the ollie...
Are you still practicing? And if yes what can you do

slop_dosh someone who actually responded dude most people dont do that, respect ✊
It’s not nice to say that
I'm actually surprised that the comment is 6 years ago and he still replies
I can't even land a single one D:

nice man!
After you got a few kickflips down they will get easier to do ;)
Just practice every day and you will get them!
Gabe must have hit puberty between this video and now.. Hahaha
Lol look at him now he all grown up
Bro hes like a grown man you nasty.
i did not notice this was made in 2014 and was wondering what the hell was going on haha
This was so BEAUTIFUL. Let this live FOREVER.
I got absolutely lucky with a triple while attempting a double about 8 years ago just before I quit !! You guys got me back into skating!
That reaction was absolutely hilarious. Where did that machine gun come from all of a sudden? I think there definitely is a difference between landing and learning a trick ;)
He's landed these in a couple older videos but now he's getting off an ankle injury and he hasn't done one yet
TeddyBearGaming He's done it a couple of times in a game of S.K.A.T.E. I remember one of the times. He did it against John Hill.
Appaddict01
yeah he recently did it against justin kelly and gabe
Stop hating and start skating
This is so awesome, I have to get my kick flips clean and consistent! you rock!!
I was so hyped when I landed triple flips!
frickyfreshboy ok
ok
yeah sure you did
+420 A.D Castle Clash Go check frickyfreshboys vids. He is a 100% beast
+420 A.D Castle Clash They arent even that hard. Doubles are easy, just need to flick slightly harder. I remember when i was at the skatepark playing my friend in a game of skate and did one first try, he was pissed XD

He actually did 4 flips
Nah he just did a tribal flip

yep
hockey4js chill out at least he answered the question haha
This is Aaron Kyro and yes I can confirm I did use the gopro for the slomo. Thank you for asking!
***** lying ass lmao
This makes Aaron a legend because he's one of the first ones in the world to hit this trick and he did it flat grounded which makes it even more impressive
"Is that even real?" - Aaron Kyro 2014
I love that your making vids of you learning new tricks it shows that even the best have to progress
Nollie varial triple kickflip ?
Switch
That's, what? This isn't skate 3 dude.
Samuel Sveistrup thats basically riding fakie which is easier
guillermo procel. You can't even do that trick in skate 3
Mack Wilson Hahahahaha, so true
I swear it's the first time I've ever seen you not land something imediately! 😱
Damn Kyro, you sure you weren't a ninja in a previous life? Lol tre kicks for dayz buddy.
Keep learning new tricks and have fun doing them.
You guyz (Braille Army) are the best!
That was awesome aaron you can land almost every trick you try! Keep it up
Now a quad
I touth obut that too. Lolz
Maybe over a ramp it would be easyer
QUAAAAAAAAD
These videos inspired me to skate. These videos were and still are child friendly so kids that want to skate can learn here.
right? as much as i want to hear them swear, i love how braille keeps their videos family friendly

Learn double heel flips next
His weakness is heelflips.
Dom Skates Make your weaknesses your strengths.
He will need to get his heelflips down before his double heels. Your right tho.
Thought he had heel flips pretty down, just non of the variations.
its sketchey sometimes and it flips slow. hes good at them but just a bit more work.
That was so sick Aaron!!
How can you do tricks with no speed? It's much harder, I find it easier to get higher pop with speed.
+McDudes higher poop?
... meant pop
gonna change that
+RbIJUHA shaytan done at the call center?
I agree there's more snap
Aaron u r realy the best teacher ever you helped me !
Can you do a video about ollieing from ramps? when I roll on a ramp in ollie position I get really unbalanced and I cannot do an ollie
He did! I think it's called how to Ollie off of a kicker ramp.. Idk
***** balance is the biggest problem for me, I usually lose balance when riding up a ramp in ollie position
Thats funny i was just thinking this nd have the same problem. Nd i looked it up nd watched his how to ollie off of a kicker ramp video right before i watched this video. now do tre triple flips
johnny giger did uploaded a vid of a 360 tripple flip
Aaron you are really inspiring me to skate. Thank you so much I've got my ollies, front 180s, back 180s, Pop Shuv, front Shuv and trying to heel flip I'm really close :)
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Im amazed he can even jump high enough to do a triple kickflip
Rewatching after all these years! Yous are legends
oh baby a triple!

Andy schrock vs Aaron kyro SKATE
Aaron Kyoto takes the win
Kyro
+DawgsSkateboardingChannel yup Aaron Kyoto is so good
That was dope... Once you land it it's a done deal..
Is it gonna be this hard to land a kickflip 😢lol na I got it flipping I just need that front foot on anyways nice tripflip👍

That was sick 💯Tribal Flip👊🏼
you need to do a triple hardflip now :D
Calm down, bro. xD
Im really glad to see that hes getting the more modern tricks down.
This is so wrong. There are kids in Africa who can't do a single kickflip. Once again, America, "the land of excess"
brandon caleb Moses Adams does tripple flip front board
Alex Meulenbeld I saw some guy doing a quintuple kickflip...
Antichrist 666! Really dude?!?! 0_o WTF
brandon caleb you think
That it is wrong for Americans to strive to do something difficult? That's is the dumbest thing I've heard.
OH BABY IT'S TRIPLE.
sweet! do you have a tripple heel flip video?
next do tripple tre
impossible??
1080 flip?
360 triple flip i think...
+Anthony Bailey nah, thats just a tre flip with 3 kickflips
+Svein Erik Moholt yeah I know I think that's what he means though
+Anthony Bailey probs

The one at 4:34 looks kind of like a Triple Dolphin Flip. You might want to try learning those. :D Not Triple, but Dolphin Flips. :P You'll get to Triple some day.
Chris chan did a 360 Dolphine flip and named it the Dragon Flip
He said it himself, he wasn't the first to do it. People have been doing it for years. There's even a video I saw of a guy doing it in a clown suit, weird shoes and all.

Leonard Haas you're not joking, are you?
+Alex Repented google it
That is absolutey sick! Good work!!!
I have a challenge for you - Try to do double heelflips
Lol that's a real challenge for Aaron because he always says he can barley land a heelflip
Haha yea that's why I said it
I know xD
this looks so cool in slow motion!
IT'S SOOO FUNNY IF YOU HEAR HIM TALK IN 0.5 SPEED XDDDD
+Philip Metz He sounds high lol
