This was very insightful, thank you so much. With all your experience in accounting and having an MBA it would be great of you could include more content on how to run a profitable business. I really have the impression that a lot of small businesses barely make any profit - seeing how low priced some items are sometimes sold. Also i would love if you could share systems that you put in place to be able to manage to get orders out so quickly. Your office space is really beautiful♥️ best wishes from france🇫🇷

I really love when you include business information because it definitely helps for individuals wanting to start a business or have a business but need a little help. For instance, pros and cons of having the business in the house or an office or paying tax and paying self and employees (would love info on that).
Love watching these videos. I even watch your older ones until a new one comes available 🥰

I love the book release idea. I gasped at the $1000 office price. It's a dream. Speaking from an NYC point of view ofcourse.

I would love for you to dive into the business/tax side of determining what is a business expense. For example, your nespresso pods are at your office for you and your employee, but you pay for it out of your grocery budget. Is it just personal preference or are there certain guidelines you have to meet first? I love your videos and feel like I am watching a friend ❤.

Thank you so much for this video. I am in the middle of making the big decision to devote my entire time to my sticker shop. It is so hard juggling both and that is what I am passionate about. So, these videos are super helpful to me.

$1000 a month is a lot of money but it is more affordable than I thought it would be. I can't wait for you to have it back in your home though, as I think (for me anyway) to have the business at home and save that monthly cost. So happy to see your success!

Hi Sara! Ensure your security deposit has been set aside in an interest bearing escrow account. The landlord should be giving you the interest earned at the end of the year. Granted interest rates are not very high but that security deposit is your money, and should be earning interest

So what you want is a walk out basement that way you can get the windows you want and you can have a separate entrance for the business so people don't have to walk through you home.

A walk out basement would be great! But just lots of windows in general in the basement would work as well!

Thanks for sharing all the business-related info! It would be really helpful, too, if you could do a couple of mock business budget setup/reconcile/etc videos using your stickers. 🙏🏻😊🙏🏻

This is awesome because I 100% watch your channel for business inspiration! I’m not in the sticker business, but I’m on Etsy and you’ve given me so many great ideas, especially for storage and organization.

I would never have thought about paying property taxes on an office space I didn’t owned. That was an eye-opener! I think your costs for your business are very reasonable. However, having the business in your home is the ideal way to go. Thank you for sharing. Have a great week!

On any rental I have had; your rent is your rent, no property taxes or such; that is on the owner of the property to pay. We did pay utilities, but thats all. Would never sign a lease where I had to pay taxes…you might as well build your own building at that point.

@@Karenm1969 But it sounds like this advice came from a good source. I agree and I would never sign such a lease. But that doesn’t stop such tricks from being used by not-so-nice landlords.

Thank you for sharing your experience on this topic. I'm lucky enough to own my office space and I too have had to invest in all the things to make it functional and comfortable for me to work in. However, because of the cost of owning said office space, I was not able to make it the way I wanted it from the start. Right now I am debating whether to remodel and shut down the business for 2-3 months or to just keep on going with the way that it is now, since it's working ok. Loved your video!

The cheapest office space near me is 460 sq.ft. $157,000 a year 😩 I have more space in my basement than that.
Edit to add I’m close to NYC

Today my machine acted goofy too. It worked perfectly today. I usually have trouble with the registration marks or the cutting.

this is not too bad, I'm in the UK and the rent here is ridiculous, you're looking at 1000USD for 250sq ft in Oxfordshire and that doesn't cover bills! ;(

I've been having trouble with my cameo 4 reading the registration marks. Its comes and goes, I still don't know how to fix it and it drives me nuts when it does not read them. My question is when you first started out and when you only had one silhouette how did you go about problems that involved with your machine malfunctioning on you?
