I adore the Gremlins House. I think it might be my favourite of the lot from across both rounds. I hope it gets the nod, but if not, I hope you keep persisting via Lego IDEAS until it's finally made. I'm also intrigued by the potential upgrades.

I like the smaller Beetlejuice set a lot more. I think they should make the smaller Beetlejuice and they most likely decided to make the Goonies (that is a set that will fly off the shelves - pirates fans will get it, just plain good model fans will get it, Some will get 2 to make a full ship ... it's just a good lego set.
Some of the most iconic movies of the 80's are Raiders of the Lost Ark, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters and the Star Wars series. Since those are already sets in production we are now left with choosing among what remains. I believe the challenge is coming up with the iconic scene or prop that hasn't been done already and yet is still recognizable nearly 40 years later. Kudos to the finalists for coming up with something.
No offence to any of the creators of these sets, but I feel that all five of them are inferior, or at least less appealing from my perspective, to the five sets (six even if you include the excluded Karate Kid set) that made the first round. One is a blatant downgrade of the Beetlejuice set that made the first round. I don't fully understand the rules, but I'd much prefer to see two sets selected from Round 1, if that were possible.
I really want a Beetle Juice set and the one in the second vote to me is perfect. The first one is too big and would probably be too expensive. This one look like it would display really well and maybe stay under $100. I think the Goonies won the first vote though and that set looks expensive if they keep it at the same scale. I think it will be at least $500. It's a cool set but I wonder how well it will sell if it's really expensive. And tbh the same can be said about some of the other sets in the first round.

When I'm considering whether I might purchase a set, I tend to look at whether it will easily fit within a Lego City, alongside other, mostly modular, buildings, and I have to say that the Round 1 Beetlejuice house certainly fits the bill in that regard. Plus, I love the range of minifigs.
On balance, that might be the one I'm inclined towards from Round 2. I like the older character minifgs and I think I could somehow fit that set into the Sitcom Apartment (I'm sure Brick Artisan would come up with a brilliant way to modularise it).
I think that the project for the film "Big" is underestinated, it is built in real bricks and sums up the entire film. This creation is fantastic! (We must not forget that this is not the final Lego construction)

So if Round 2 was going to be new models and new fan creators all along, there was no reason to remove Karate Kid. Yes there were 2 by same person but only one could win the first round so its not like that fan creator would have gotten 2 sets won. This whole contest has been totally mishandled

If we don’t know the results of the first round, how can we make informed voting for second round? We can guess Gremlins Beetlejuice and ET are here because they didnt win first round, but we don’t KNOW that. I don’t wanna vote for another (and basically same) beetlejuice house if in theory it already won the first round. I’d rather know so i can vote for a different thing.
The Goonies ship set was so popular that I'd be surprised if it didn't win. If you look at the number of comments on that set, it's way more than the others too.

FWIW, out of all the Round 2 sets it's the one that appeals to me the most, just in terms of design. I'm a bigger fan of the other IPs (all of them classic 80s movies), but I just love the potential of the Golden Girls design.
Sorry, but when I look at that Round 2 Beetlejuice house next to the minifigs, I'm reminded of the scene in the first Zoolander: "What is this? A school for ants?!?"

If it’s any it looks cool and awesome and both sets of both GIZMO Lego set and THE GREMILNS HOUSE SET and the as I love gizmo And I want them to bring out the GOLDEN GIRLS SET LOVE THAT TV SHOW. And I really really want Lego to bring out in there stores. What is this contest?? So if you wanted the Gremlins house and it didnt win first round, you are stuck with voting for gizmo instead. So Gremlins gets another shot, but not the set that people were initially voting and excited for. Feels like a slap in the face.

Shame that some in the first round weren’t in this but I’m going for golden girls just because it’s so random.
